Repair service is for clusters that are experiencing pixelation on the display centers making them hard to read and will include a new replacement of the LCD assembly.
* To PREVENT A NO START condition it is recommended that the negative battery cable be disconnected for 10 minutes prior to unplugging the cluster and not re-installing the cable until after the cluster is all plugged in.

Knee Panel: remove the two torx bolts near the gas and brake pedals. Grasp the bottom edge of the panel and "pop" it towards you (quick pulling effort); it will detach from its clips at the top, allowing the top to drop enough to access the two screws -1- in the next step. The knee panel requires no further removal.

This LCD is aftermarket replacement. There are no OEM replacement displays existing in the market. The only way to get one is - purchase the new cluster.
The repair is not an easy DIY and excellent soldering skills is a must. Please consider our pixel repair services if you never completed such a job before (type in AUDIJGCLSER into the search box). This will save you a lot in a long run.
This LCD is designed to fit instrument clusters manufactured by Jaeger only. It will NOT fit for VDO instrument cluster which is installed in Audi A4/S4/RS6, A6/S6, Allroad.

A common failure on the MK1 Audi TT and the MK1 A3/S3 is the DIS (driver information system) digital display. Over time, rows of pixels fail making the display hard to read. These clusters also commonly suffer from failing backlights and faulty fuel / temperature gauges.
We test the cluster to confirm reported faults. The unit is then disassembled, repaired with new parts as required and re-assembled. The unit is then fully tested.
When you order this repair the minimum charge will be debited from your chosen payment method. We will get in touch if further costs may be incurred before undertaking any additional work.
