Faulty pointers or complete failure of the cluster can occur over time. ACtronics has a remanufacture solution available for these problems.

If a fault develops in an instrument cluster of an Audi TT manufactured in between 1998 and 2006, then this is normally immediately visible. It is commonly seen that one or more of the pointers (like the speedometer or tachometer) stop moving. The digital LCD display can work intermittently or fail all together. Faults might occur in the speaker of the instrument cluster as well, so it will not produce sound anymore. These defects can be noticed by either the driver or garage.

The remanufacture process consists of several steps. Before we actually remanufacture the part, we will carry out an entry-test. Depending on the result of the test will then continue with the remanufacture. In this remanufacture process we will replace all parts that are known to possibly create a fault.
