Other wise you will need a 12 V power source. Which can be achieved many ways. But cheaply would be a AA battery pack for around $4 or whatever you want in a 8 AA battery holder that produces 12v.

If you want to spend the money for an All-In-One setup you you can go many ways. If you’re in the air I would recommend something bigger, but I want to start small. Here we have a couple 2/2.5″ monitors. Inside for a slow flight with a whoop or for FPV cars/trucks or given to a spotter. They function good. Or to have as a backup monitor for using to retrieve a downd craft.

If you’re lucky you can find something like these on sale for $20 somewhere but on average cost $45. The one in the video above I snagged on sale for $21 from Amazon.

Unfortunately when I got mine they were on sale for $21. These are about $45. For a ground based unit they work great in my opinion. Whole different field in the RC world being on the ground. The range is well enough considering what it is. Worth the investment at some point in your RC endeavors.

For larger AIO monitors like 7″ screens with diversity, diversity is the ability to have your monitor switch between the better of the two antennas of your choice. It will come with some but you can order different ones for different reasons.

I’ve taken my tiny whoop batteries and one of the foam inserts and cut the tip off. Slipped it in and slipped the 260mah stick in. She is more balanced and a little ripper again!!!!

I’d use the 260mah sticks if you want speed. Use the 550mah sticks for long cruises. I got about 8 minutes or so on the 550mah stick before I noticed a decrease in performance.

she is a little heavy in the rear due to balancing but this is the beta FPV hi voltage 550mah LiPo. And it’s big compared to stock battery and the smaller 200+mah sticks. Which I assume will work as well and maybe even better. But here’s a maiden test flight with batt mod.
