RX62N Starter Kits are Renesas’s latest development in low-cost evaluation development toolkits. The TFT LCD RX Direct Drive Solution Kit provides a user-friendly introductory evaluation platform to determine the suitability of any given Renesas Microcontroller as well as a basic development platform. In addition, the RX Direct-Drive Solution boards for TFT LCD serve as a valuable platform for evaluating the Renesas suite of development tools for coding and debugging, using High-performance Embedded Workshop (HEW) as well as programming the device with emulator and/or Flash Development Toolkit.

By utilizing the external DMA to drive the TFT-LCD and move the RGB data, the load on the MCU"s core is significantly reduced, thus optimizing the MCU’s performance to run the application software. There is only a 5% loading on the CPU when refreshing a 60Hz panel, leaving more than 150DMIPS to run an RTOS and communications protocols, drive motors and create animations if needed.

Normally, these LCD Display Demo Boards are custom made with the unit cost of around $250. Our engineers can pre-load customers’ required pictures to the demo boards, however, customers cannot change the pictures inside the memory, only our engineers are able to change the pictures from factory. These demo boards are normally used to show unique LCD displays or custom-made LCD displays.

The customers can use AGN 3.5”, 4.3” and 7.0” products easily to produce demos or presentation to show their ideas in a couples of hours. They are great products to engineers to produce quick prototypes with their own graphic design. GUI Capability makes it possible for engineers to make a demo within hours. Orient Display engineers are working on demos with control board to realize complicated functionality with different kinds of interfaces, such as USB, HDMI, VGA, eDP, MIPI etc. The control boards can provide WIFI, ethernet, Bluetooth, IR, RF, camera (High Definition), fingerprint recognition, voice recognition, facial recognition etc. WinCE, Linux, Android.

MinewTag (ESL) Demo kit allows users to play it as in real retail scene. The solution applied with the latest Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0 technology and Nordic nRF52 series chip. Users can through gateway and cloud platform to modify the price, product information, and template editing on ESL to simulate the operation in the actual application scenarios. The demo board comes with an on-board voltage regulator (7 VDC to 12 VDC input). It is equipped with a 120-Ohm termination resistor and a 5-way navigation switch. The supplier provides also demo software and a CAN FD traffic generator.
