keurig 2.0 lcd screen not working quotation
Technology is great… until it stops working. Your fancy Keurig 2.0 comes with a touch screen display. Many owners have experienced a sudden issue with the Keurig 2.0 touch screen not working properly. It may dim, blank, or have lines running through it. Here are some simple things you can try to do to fix it.
If the reset doesn’t solve any issue you are having with your screen, you may want to try simply wiping it down. It might sound crazy, but this simple fix has worked for several Keurig owners on social media.
Turn the machine off. Spray a little bit of Lysol or Windex onto a soft cloth or paper towel and wipe the screen. Be sure clean around the edges where the bevel meets the screen. Dirt and dust can get trapped in there and cause the Keurig screen to not be working the right way.
If none of the above solutions worked for your Keurig 2.0, you should contact Keurig support. If you registered your machine and it is still under warranty, they may be able to help you fix it.
Keurig 2.0 comes with newly developed innovative technology and has acquired a positive rating globally since it delivers silky and swift coffee in a matter of seconds. Keurig 2.0 brewers were launched in 2014, and after a few years, they were discontinued.
Keurig 2.0 comes with a touchscreen Display. However, many Keurig machine owners complained about the sudden issue with Keurig 2.0 touch screen not working properly. The issue is mostly dim, black, or lines running through the machine. Some customers have also reported broken screens on Keurig 2.0
Unfortunately, there is not as exact information available to solve these issues, so I have done an extensive research to find out the right solution. So, keep reading to learn how.
Normally the most common Reason for the Keurig touch screen not working is a software issue. This problem can easily be countered by resetting the machine or simply restarting the machine.Reset the machine
If resetting the machine doesn’t work for you, try cleaning the touch screen of your Keurig machine. This simple fix appears to have worked for some Keurig owners.
All you need is to turn off the machine. Wipe the screen with a soft cloth or paper towel dampened with some cleaning agent or water. Make sure to clean the screen thoroughly because sometimes dirt and dust can get caught within the screen, preventing the Keurig screen from working properly.
Check the LCD screen if your Keurig screen is not working properly. The reason might be the connection of your LCD screen becoming loose. Here is a step-by-step guide on troubleshooting the Keurig screen. With the help of a screwdriver, remove two screws (140 mm screws) that are located on the lower side of the chamber lid. Also, remove the top black housing of the Keurig coffee maker which surrounds the screen.
Open the snaps that are holding the LCD screen with the brewer with a metal spudger. ( be careful as these snaps are fragile and might be prone to leakage)
Detach the white modular. This is used to connect the LCD screen to the circuit board’s wires. By gently squeezing the sides and pulling them around, you can remove it.
Plug the white modular back properly and see if the screen has started working or not. If yes, That’s Great! If not, then might be the screen is damaged and you have to replace it.
If none of the above steps helps in fixing the issue, you need to contact Keurig customer supportto seek professional help. If you have registered your machine and it is still under warranty, they will assist you in solving this problem free of cost.
Don’t worry if your Keurig 2.0 touchscreen isn’t working; you’re not alone! We’ve guided you through no of the steps to fix the problem in this blog article.
We hope this information helps you in resolving your Keurig 2.0 touchscreen issue. If the screen is still not working then contact Keurig support or seek help from a technician.
If the display on your Plus Series / Keurig® 2.0 brewer is blank, or is not displaying content as expected, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
Step 5: When the LCD is navigated back to the “Lift to Begin” screen, raise the handle and lower it back down. Is the brewer prompting to start a brew or water only dispense?
remove the phillips head screws under bottom of lcd screen; there are 6 of them. Pop the clips visible all the way around housing. Carefully if your concerned about cosmetics. this will expose the brain, main 2.0 button and lcd screen housing. Unplug lcd screen plugs and motherboard plugs. you could try to find a replacement for these parts which I am in the process of doing, or try to dry it out, which may be too late. you can catch up with me at bigbrainbrotha@gmail.com if you want to see what I found next should I forget to come back with completed resolution. Looking like the lcd is the common issue for all of us with these units. I am sorely disappointed that this hardware was not waterproofed more and keurigs failure to stand behind it is despicable. They know its an issue and offer no support only to discount a new product when this one works fine!
This device however convenient is POORLY MADE. DO NOT BUY IT. I was able to open the unit up. No help from Keurig. I pulled the motherboard and lcd screen out. The motherboard is fine. I was able to get it to run preheating process after touching the back of the lcd screen that is unresponsive to touch. I WIPED the machine down and I get this. TERRIBLE. I is a water device, why would you not put parts that are protected from liquid and steam as I have seen with other complaints. They offered me 35 percent off of a new device instead of taking this piece of junk back and fixing their flawed design. BUT DRONES WILL KEEP ON BUYING won"t we, instead of making them stand behind their product. What sad is people posting here that they got a new one because it was under warranty. FIND A NEW THREAD. Before I shell out another 180 bucks for something that worked for years, and quit working from wiping it down?! THEY KNOW. This should be a recall PERIOD. I will not be buying another product from this company until they stand up and do the right thing FOR ALL OF US! SMH. Shame on keurig. If i can find a replacement LCD it will stay, otherwise I will put this whole thing in the trash and there it will STAY!
LCD damaged from moisture and a TERRIBLE DESIGN by keurig. Its a joke. I cracked mine open since it is no longer under warranty. The motherboard is fine as I am sure yours is. I will keep you posted on fix.
Bypass general customer care and speak to corporate and MAKE THEM SEND YOU A NEW DEVICE OUTSIDE OF WARRANTY. I did. These folks are aware and their engineers are taking pride in fixing the issue. For the folks that posted in here they got a new one inside of warranty WASTED TIME typing to hear yourself talk. Seriously?! Really. I owned this pampered device for 4 years and it worked FLAWLESSLY. I was happy with it and as a matter of fact said it was one of the best appliances I have owned because it was sturdy and it lasts. New one on the way! Because I told them what I found instead of just accepting a discount for a new one and believing what I was told. FIND OUT! Do not accept anything sub-par when you spend the coin on these devices you do.
Your Keurig stopped working or it’s not brewing properly? Need help with Keurig 2.0 troubleshooting? Here are the most common Keurig 2.0 problems and how you can solve them.
This can be frustrating but don’t worry, most of these things can be fixed in a few easy steps. Here are Keurig 2.0 troubleshooting tips you can use to fix your coffee maker (and your morning as well).
If everything seems fine, the water reservoir is in place, the brew button has been pressed and nothing happens for more than 5 minutes, call Keurig Customer Service so they can troubleshoot your machine.
To turn on Keurig 2.0, plug in the brewer, then press and hold the power button (the power icon will appear in the bottom right corner of the touchscreen). You should see a Welcome note. If it doesn’t turn on you can try several things: check to make sure that the brewer is plugged securely; unplug and plug in the brewer; plug the brewer into a different outlet. As the last step, Keurig even recommends resetting your home’s circuit breaker.
It’s absolutely normal for a Keurig 2.0 not to dispense water in a stream but to trickle coffee. As long as you get a selected beverage size everything it’s fine. If you’re getting only partial cups, try cleaning exit needles and descaling the machine.
If nothing is clogged but the machine still leaks, it’s probably the hose or valve inside the machine and you will need to call Keurig Support for further assistance.
If your Keurig 2.0 won’t stop pumping water try the tap method: turn off the unit, remove the water tank, turn the machine upside down, shake slightly and tap the bottom a few times.
If you’re using distilled water, switch to tap, filtered, or bottled water – this should fix the problem. It’s not recommended to use distilled or softened water in Keurig coffee makers.
If your Keurig 2.0 is leaking water after brewing, try cleaning the k cup holder and exit needles, and don’t forget the little tray that sits under the k cup holder. This part can get full of grounds and debris and that can cause problems. Take it out and wash it with dish soap and warm water.
Keurig “water under pressure” error indicates the problem with the exit needle. Carefully open the handle, take out the pod and clean the exit needle. You can clean exit needles using a paper clip or you can use Keurig maintenance accessory. If this happens more than once or twice in a row, or cleaning isn’t helping anymore (that’s possible too) call customer service for assistance.
Unplug and plug in the brewer again to repeat the process, just in case. Make sure that the water reservoir is in place and there is enough water in the tank. If everything seems fine but still nothing happens, it’s recommended to call Keurig customer service.
There is a fix that worked for some of our readers. Unplug the machine, fill the tank with hot water and turn the machine back on. The machine should recognize hot water and start working again. Please note, Keurig only recommends adding cold water in the tank, so while the fix usually helps please use it at your own risk.
Sometimes Keurig 2.0 won’t brew if there’s not enough water in the reservoir. If you lift the handle or move a carafe after you turn on the auto ON, the auto brew will cancel.
Unfortunately, screen issues are a very common Keurig 2.0 problem. Usually either the touch screen doesn’t work or there’s a blank screen. There’s really not much you can do about it except unplug and plug in the brewer to see if it work. This fix can often help (YouTube), so you can try that as well.
Please pay attention to how often this happens. If it’s just once or twice it’s not a big deal, but if you think it’s happening too often, call Customer Service. It’s not something that will solve on its own and you probably don’t want to turn the machine on and off all the time because the screen goes crazy.
If you’re getting ground in your cup, switch to tap or bottled water. Keurig doesn’t recommend using softened or distilled water in their machines. If you’re using softened water, empty the tank, fill the tank with tap water and run a few rinse cycles to rinse the machine. This should solve the problem and you should be able to make the coffee without any issues.
If you want to use your own coffee in Keurig 2.0 or you simply prefer eco-friendly options, you can purchase Keurig 2.0 reusable filter for $8.00. This filter works with all 2.0 series brewers and it’s optimized for brewing a k-cup size (4 – 12 ounce). If you want to brew your own coffee as a carafe, you can get a reusable carafe filter.
I hope this helps. If this didn’t solve your problem or you don’t see a specific issue listed here, please contact Keurig Customer Service for further help. Customer Service is available 7 days a week at 866-901-2739.
Hey, If you think half of there flavours are yucky, have you thought of a Nespresso? The Inissia offers good value at a similar price. To be honest I would lean toward a nespresso for authenticity, but lean towards Keurig for the flexibility of their range, probably better to buy a cheaper Keurig K40 then a 2.0, hence i recommend them, but if your no eau fea with the taste of Keurig Coffee then definitely go Nespresso next time. And you wont have the same problem with the Reusable cups…
I was once a HUGE Keurig fan and supporter with nothing but great things to say about the product. I not only overlooked the high prices of their coffee pods, I also dismissed the idea of the actual machine being cheaply manufactured. Long story short (due to me leaving for a meeting) I bought the machine back when there were really no other companies making the K-cup alternatives. I went through 3 different machines and models that all eventually failed in one way or another. Now reading this and seeing the CEO of Keurig comment “We underestimated, is the easiest way to say it.” solidifies my belief that the company is way more interested in the consumers money and couldn’t care any less about the consumer experience or loyalty. That one statement alone translates in my head to “we thought everybody was supposed to bow down to King Keurig and not question our demands in what cup/pod to use and what price we decided……” I know that’s a silly interpretation, but you get the gist of what I’m saying, hopefully? LOL
Keurig was once a favorite brand of mine, now I go out of my way to let anyone who will listen know how underhanded and GREEDY this company is! I am forgiving however and if they bring back 1.0 admitting they screwed up, then I might reconsider my stance. But they don’t care about their former customers and it’s a good thing too, because most of us have left! I am so glad they don’t like money or want any of mine!
Very frustrated our machine is only 6 months old and not working. The coffee comes out really slow now. It shuts off and then has to be reheated every time. Looking for another brand now.
Mine has not brewed the full cup since about six months after I bought it. I called Keurig and instead of offering to replace it, they just offered to take a percentage off me buying a new one.
What a lying worm this CEO is. I’d have more respect for him if he just admitted that they wanted to own this market and force the consumer to pay the price they wanted. There was no other reason to change to the 2.0. Apparently at the outset they did a poor job of patent protection for the concept.
I too had problem with reusable k-cup. I purchased mine first at Walmart . Didn’t work properly but I thought, hey I only paid $5.99 for it. Went to Bed, bath and purchased one for $15.99. Same problem occurred. I called keurig and was told I would have to purchase one from them directly. Another $15.99 plus $8 something for shipping! I was told that just because bed bath and beyond stated it was correct one that it was NOT Keurig made and that is why it didn’t work. Imagine that? I did end up ordering one from keurig but did talk them down for them to not charge me for shipping. She agreed but I did have to pay the tax, which was fine. I had already thrown the receipt from bed bath and beyond but had to look up charge card statement to verify charge. They were so nice about this without my receipt. It is such a shame that I had to go through so much trouble.
This is the worst investment I have made. I will be getting rid of my Keurig 2.0 and going with a new machine with a different brand. I now have had 3 replacements by Keurig and all with the same issues. Just yesterday I set the machine for 10oz and received 24oz.
The old machine was so reliable -but the 2.0 is not. It clogs way too often. It is S L O W to brew. It does not brew decent size cups – the 10 oz is really 8 or 9, and that is the largest size. A typical mug will only get filled a max of 3/4. Unacceptable. Attaching a full water tank is a total mess. They need a complete overhaul of this machine.
What I want to know is when will they issue a RECALL on ALL the 2.0 brewers!! I am on my 4th brewer!! I have tried all the “fixes” and NOTHING works!! I literally have a line of brewers on my front porch waiting to go to recycling. I have been a Keurig fan since 2005! I have only had the best of luck with all of my brewers until I tried to upgrade to the 2.0. If they don’t figure out how to fix this issue, I will no longer be a fan!! STOP WAISTING YOUR BREATH WITH HALF-ASSED APOLOGIES & GET THIS ISSSUE FIXED!!!
I totally agree. I was going to buy the 2.0 for my daughter & her husband for a Christmas present this year but reading all the bad reviews… forget it. I have had 3 Keurigs in the past since 2007 & really haven’t had any major problems. My first came from my now ex-fiance’s parents, 2nd I bought just to update the first & 3rd was because the 2nd wore out. The 3rd was purchased from QVC & came with a lot of extra coffee which was great but the unit started to tell me it needed to be primed. I called Keurig & they sent me out a brand new unit & no problems. I was looking forward to the 2.0 but now I feel this company has been taking us all for a hard ride. They definitely need to fix these problems or they won’t be selling anything because no one will want to buy their product anymore.
I hate the fact I was lured into buying a new Vue machine a few years back at a low price under the guise it was the latest and greatest improvement over the K-Cup with temperature control and the ability to brew up to 16oz at a time without watering down the coffee flavor. They promised beverage selections on par with the old K-cup. That never materialized. The product was soon abandoned for the “even better” K-Cup 2.0. Vue cups were in short supply at major retailers. The only place to find the limited selection of Vue cups was on Keurig’s website at top dollar. No more. I refuse to pay these prices for their limited selection and I absolutely refuse to buy a new machine due to DRM technology. Nope. It’s back to a traditional drip coffee maker.
I was not aware of this issue and,I thought I had allowed enough time for Keurig to fix the problem with its current brewers, so I bought one. When I couldn’t get it to work, I called customer support. After about 20 minutes, I learned that the distilled water I had placed in the reservoir couldn’t be used because it was necessary for ions to be present in the water in order for amount of water that passed through the K-cup in the brewing process to be determined. I like top use distilled water in systems like this in order to keep my salt intake low and in order to prevent calcium deposit in the machine as water evaporates from the mechanism. Keurig doesn’t say anything about avoiding distilled water. I wonder what the reason is. Do they want to sell the equipment and solution to clean the machine? Do they want to sell new machines as soon as calcium accumulates? Whatever the reason, I believe the manufacture’s chief concern is for earning money, not for their costumers Correcting an issue with one of their machines probably won’t ever be cure the problem with this company. They just aren’t properly motivated.
This guy is being dishonest. It’s not because of the stupid empty brown plastic “My-KCup” that Keurig sold for us to stuff ground coffee in. It’s because of all the comparable and better k-cups prefilled with other brands of coffee available for purchase at grocery stores and Amazon that are much cheaper.
The CEO is dissembling. It’s not because it doesn’t work with their silly little plastic my-kcup that you stuff ground coffee in. It’s because people want to use and enjoy the cheaper and equal or better quality non-Keurig kcups sold in grocery stores and on Amazon and he tried to prevent them from doing so!
Purchased the 2.0 in August 2016 and had nothing but problems. First I had the problem with older Keurig branded pods not working. I spent some time doing the research and hacking the DRM so it would accept all cups. Then it started with the error messages about dirty needles. I tried to clean, did resets, etc. but still have problems. It will start a brew then stop. It blows grounds into the cup. It’s become a real waste of time, money and effort. The older machines worked fine for years. This is what trying to be a loyal customer looks like. I’d like them to issue recalls and refunds.
Had to throw my keurig 2.0 in the trash today due to it leaking water on my counter and ruining it!! Went out and bought a mr coffee machine instead! Never buying a keurig again only had it less than a year!
Add me to the mighty list of dissed loyal customers. I even sold keurigs commercially back when it was new concept. My wonderful B66 model is slow & half fill brewing and we tried everything found on You Tube. It’s sitting in he garage and I am reading product reviews trying to make a buy decision. The 2.0 is a turnoff –cheap plastic toy feel is first impression and all the issues listed in reviews confirms this once keurig loyal is looking at other brands. Will gift my kcups to a friend who owns an older model that still works.
We just bought the Keurig 2.0 model not long ago. Wasn’t aware of all the issues. Have had to call Keurig the last 2 months 2x because they wouldn’t use the Dunkin’ Donuts kcups. So of all the spending on coffee and have to toss the box I’m ready for a new different brand coffee pot. I wouldn’t recommend Keurig to anyone
I love my Keurig 2.0 brewer. Just love it. I enjoy the coffee made from the pods from Costco as well as brewing with the new My Keurig reusable pods, when I can grind my own coffee grounds again. That is, until I got a hot water dispenser.
Some people will lead you to believe that you need a scale and all that to make a perfect cup of coffee. My experience is that when you know what you want out of a cup of joe, you can adjust the coffee grind to compensate for the slight variations of the amount of coffee beans and the water ratio. For my morning cup to get me out of the door it was good enough. My Keurig sat unpowered for 4 months until today when I decide I want use it again, now that I have a little time this morning. So I would say if you are exclusively a drip coffee drinker, not craving for a home-made espresso, hand-pouring can be a quick and easy option after a little bit of trial to get the right setting on your systems:
Now what they really need to do, is take their head out of their a**. For one, it’s not a hat, and secondly, are they completely oblivious to the existence of travel mugs? Not a single one of the Brewers in their latest lineup of s***, makes larger than a 12oz brew. I find it stupid and inconvenient to have to brew two 8oz servings to fill my mug in the morning. The vue was the perfect machine, as with the adapter, you could use k-cups, obviously the vue cups, and also the k-carafe cups. After they stopped making the vue cups in my favorite roast, I went back to a grind and brew coffee maker.
I have had a Keurig Vue for years. It was replaced once for a bad pump but the replacement has worked perfectly for about 4 years making so many cups a day I can’t count. However, I bought the K-cup adapter from bed Bath and Beyond for $14.99 and use regular K cups of any kind and also have an adapter that allows me to use ground coffee and I also place a piece of “Mellita” filter paper inside it( cut to fit) to insure no grounds in a perfect cup of Joe. There is always a way around the Keurig demands of $$ and demands that we use only their K cups. I stopped using their expensive Vue branded cups almost immediately even before I learned they were being discontinued.
I am on my second Keurig 1.0 machine. We have had it for years. It is starting to have the occasional hiccup. I have started to investigate what DRM free K-CUP machines. I am glad to hear that Keurig regrets this ill conceived (stupid) experiment of thiers. Regret is not good enough, they need to walk this idea back fully. They need to start selling machines that do not have DRM capability, and clearly identify which machines no longer have this.
They may be apologizing in the press, but they extremely coy about the issue on their web site. They look like someone waiting for the storm to pass. If they are going to fix the damage they have inflicted on their brand they need to lean into this with more than apologies and workarounds. I wont be buying another Keurig manufactured coffee maker until I see one with a big “DRM FREE” sticker on the box.
i purchased a mini Keurig and was really disappointed that the electrical cord was so short that it had to be immediately behind the electrical outlet in order to plug in. This would have been my second mini Keurig but I had to return it. The electrical cord had been reduced by 50 % in the new model. This is not my first rodeo and I know that this was done just to cut corners and save money. Shame on you .. I am not longer a customer.
Yes it"s the 2021 model, with the snapdragon 480 (slow). But if you don"t care about gaming, this is a pretty sweet deal. It"s got 5G, free year of service, big screen... Couple use cases: 1) throw it in your glovebox as an emergency phone, 2) hand it to a kid as an emergency phone in their backpack, you can lock it down so they can only talk/text. This deal comes around once a year and it"s crazy how slick this is.... other outlets selling the phone at 200 bucks.... with NO SERVICE. Jump on this.

5 new things in Deathloop s massive Golden Loop update New weapons powers crossplay and more × Follow Us Create Notifications New User posted their first comment this is comment text Link Approve Reject & ban Delete Log in Manage your profile Editing Story Queue
5 best features added with Deathloop s Golden Loop update 1) New weapon: HALPS Prototype Deathloop’s Golden Loop update brought in the HALPS Prototype, one of the most powerful weapons in the game yet. It is an effective laser gun that fires a continuous beam capable of burning through enemies and can even be reflected off of turrets and security cameras to hit enemies behind cover. 2) The much-awaited crossplay and cross-save The Deathloop community has been requesting a crossplay feature for quite some time now. Many wanted to play against their friends across multiple platforms of PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, which they are now able to do after the Golden Loop update. This is not a compulsory option, as console players who do not want to play against someone wielding a mouse and keyboard can avoid doing so, and specifically match up against other console players. With crossplay, comes cross-save and Deathloop players are now able to save the game across multiplayer platforms, with their data carrying over to different devices and even between different services of PSN, Xbox Live, Steam, Epic, and the Microsoft Store. This new feature makes the Golden Loop update all the more worthwhile for those who enjoy playing the game across different devices. 3) New enemies and a new ending The Golden Loop update has also introduced new enemies to the Deathloop world, and Blackreef, in particular, received a new enemy type called the Paint-Bomber. These enemies are essentially suicide bombers, always looking to run up to players and trigger an explosion. Fortunately, Paint-Bombers are easy to spot as they are generally covered in colorful paint, which matches the shooter’s underlying theme. Along with this new enemy type, Deathloop has also received a new ending. This is another standard engine, and there is nothing special that players will have to do to achieve it. 4) New powers and upgrades: Fugue Slab The latest update introduced the extremely powerful and versatile Fugue Slab, which players will be able to obtain after defeating The Collector. This power opens up multiple ways to take down a target. When used on enemies, it drives them insane and makes them attack one another. The ability confuses them, and even comes with an upgrade that allows it to spread from one enemy to the next, inflicting more with the Fugue sickness and creating a state of mass chaos. Besides the introduction of Fugue, Julianna’s Masquerade ability, which allows a player to trade appearances with an NPC, is also receiving an upgrade, allowing a Masqueraded NPC to tag Colt, if they spot him.

How to catch Cosmog in Pokemon GO × Follow Us Create Notifications New User posted their first comment this is comment text Link Approve Reject & ban Delete Log in Manage your profile Editing Story Queue
Lukus Herblet Modified 29 Sep 2022 Follow Us Comment Share Cosmog as it appears in the anime (Image via The Pokemon Company) With news of the new Evolving Stars event for Pokemon GO on the near horizon, many returning and new players who may have missed out on their chance to catch Cosmog are wondering if they will ever be able to do so. For fans who are experienced with the Pokemon franchise, Cosmog"s importance in its game of origin contributes heavily to its modern-day value. Being one of the few legendary pocket monsters capable of evolving, Cosmog is truly a unique case in Niantic"s mobile experience compared to the rest of the cast. However, the process of getting a Cosmog in Pokemon GO may be a bit more convoluted than players are accustomed to. If trainers lack the specific quest that rewards them an encounter with the Legendary Pokemon, they may not be able to find a Cosmog for a very long time.
Details @ serebii.net/index2.shtml85872Serebii Update: The Pokémon GO Evolving Stars event has been fully revealed. Runs October 5th 10:00 local time to October 11th 20:00 local time. Introduces Cosmoem into the game. Details @ serebii.net/index2.shtml https://t.co/nW9pv7ykXJ The only way players can still obtain Cosmog is if they still have access to the limited-time special research quest, "A Cosmic Companion." New players (or those who took a short break from Pokemon GO during the start of September) may have missed out on obtaining this special quest line when it debuted. However, for those who have the quest and may not have finished it entirely, there is still hope. Completing the first step of the quest gives players the opportunity to get their hands on this rare Pokemon. The only difficult part of the quest will be the step that requires players to capture 15 Psychic-types. Psychic-type Pokemon can be some of the hardest for trainers to get their hands on. Luckily, with the Evolving Stars event on the near horizon, players will be able to find this elusive type of creature more often. Thankfully, players only need to complete the first stage of the quest to acquire Cosmog in Pokemon GO. However, fully completing the quest grants trainers 25 free Cosmog candies, which is the exact amount needed to evolve it into Cosmoem when the Evolving Stars event begins. For players who missed out on this special research event, there is sadly no other option to acquire a Cosmog at the moment. However, Niantic did state in the official event post for Evolving Stars that there would be a way to catch multiple Cosmog at a later date. This could hint at its appearance as a potential One-Star Raid Boss. While it is unfortunate that Cosmog is not available to catch in the wild, this does not mean players will never see this creature again in Pokemon GO. Since light is the theme of the current season, there may be future Raid Battles where players can compete for a chance to add one of its evolutions to their collection.

You Can Use The Wii U GamePad For Voice Chat, Stage Building And More In Super Smash Bros. Nintendo Life Padding it out by Share: While some developers are certainly guilty of underusing the Wii U GamePad, that criticism can"t be laid at the feet of the team behind . The forthcoming fighter will make robust use of the unique controller, not only during battle but in-between brawls as well. During normal play it will be possible to use the controller"s screen for off-TV play, but you can also toggle it to display the damage levels of all of the combatants. With this feature, it"s possible that you may wish to stand the GamePad next to the TV set so that all participants can easily see how much damage they"ve taken. Smash Bros. will also make use of the GamePad"s built-in microphone for voice chat — although to ensure that connection speeds remain fast, this will be limited to those moments before and after fights. The GamePad"s screen will also be used in conjunction with the screenshot mode to create paintings which you"ll be able to send to friends at a later date — Nintendo is planning a big update which will enable sharing of various elements in the game. Finally, there"s the stage builder mode, which uses the GamePad"s touchscreen to allow players to dream up their own unique stages. Again, these will eventually be shareable after Nintendo issues the aforementioned update. How do you feel about the GamePad being used in this fashion? Do you think it"s a step in the right direction, or could
Nintendo have possibly done more? Sound off by leaving a comment below. Related Games Share: About Damien has over a decade of professional writing experience under his belt, as well as a repulsively hairy belly. Rumours that he turned down a role in The Hobbit to work on Nintendo Life are, to the best of our knowledge, completely and utterly unfounded. Comments ) Stage builder looked massively improved. Sharing stages will be excellent. I"m excited for the Stage Builder. I can"t possibly imagine how much I"ll be using it. In Brawl, half the time I spent playing the game was creating stages because it"s so much fun. In Smash Wii U, I may even spend much more time in the stage builder! Too bad you can"t chat with an ally during the fight :< I don"t know why other games can"t do this, instead they force you to buy a headset. Might as well not have voice chat at all if its not available during battles:/ for all of the people who are being stupid about voice chat just get skype!! Shesh! I don"t like to voice chat with strangers, and since none of my buds will get the game, I"m turning it off, It"s only for friends anyway. Hope you don"t have strange friends f*** skype! i can voice chat with friends during matches of Black Ops 2, this should be no different. It is a feature of the damn console after all!Shesh! Good, I would rather hear the music then a bunch of dudes. Stage builder = Point for game pad Wow, you guys are quick to write up this stuff! Impressive dedication. And the Direct was awesome. Surely
if anything can sell the WiiU, it has to be this. The stage builder looks great, there were just so many awesome announcements to have a favorite but this one is definitely up there. The way the Gamepad was used to draw the stages was one of the most impressive display of use of the Gamepad yet. The stage builder looks truly excellent. It"s far improved over Brawl"s. I"ll definitely be using it way more than I used brawl"s. I can"t wait to try out the stages that everyone will make since I"m no creative designer when it comes to ideas. I"m so glad that the stage builder was greatly improved. Now I"ll make sure that my stages are perfect! I wonder if the stage builder will have features and decorations not found on any actual stage. I hope it does. My use of it will grow exponentially if I can build unique-looking settings. Anyway, THE HYPE IS REAL! Looks like they plan to get full use out of the gamepad, which is good. Not too sure how many of these features I will use but I like having the option to use it. Stage builder was highlight of the ND for me, voice chat was the most shocking as I was sure Nintendo forgot the Gamepad had a mic. And Im ok w/ it being limited to friends, I have 2 kids to think of, and I bet they patch in consistent gameplay voice later on after they see how the servers hold up (see Sonys DriveClub disaster). So , just how many of those 50 things seemed like they would be patched in later? Seems like the word "later" came up several times, even if "update" and
"patch" werent actually used. Oh yeah, now Nov 21 is officially official, no please understand tonight ;--) I"m not much of a voice chat person, but it"s really great that they"ve added this feature. I did use voice chat a couple of times for Mario Kart 8 with friends, so I just might use it here. Game of the decade. So much content, I"m flabbergasted. I don"t care about voice chat but I"m excited for the stage builder. Awesome... Just awesome Man... They always make up excuses... Its 2014 get on the ball or get rolled over. No chat during, only in the character select. Saying it lagged up the game if i heard correctly. The voice thing is major these days, forget using apps when the system should be capable. I use to do that stuff with GE and MHT3. If other games on the wii u can use it chat through out the game then this is no exception. Im sorry but you failed hard on that one my friends, so hard. Awesome! Really with this? So they"re willing to do voice chat in public matches lobbies in Super Smash Bros, but not in Mario Kart 8? That"s BS! I demand an update to MK8 to allow voice chat in public match lobbies now! We try our hardest Voice chat sounds great as does the stage creator. Now if i only cared about the Smash Bros. games. Voice chat during matches can"t be that difficult to implement. I don"t see it being a huge problem on other platforms. On the bright side, 8 player Smash and Stage Builder have me excited. Stage building on the GamePad, yes! And thank goodness you can"t chat during a
brawl. I would hate everything if I had to listen to people yak online while I"m killing them. I get enough of talkers in Monster Hunter, and remove them from my room every time they come in making noise that no one wants to hear. I only heard "later" for the Miiverse stage, content sharing and Mewtwo character. EDIT: Tourneys/Tournaments also later. YAY! This is always what I wanted! Cool uses of the GamePad. The GamePad alone makes the whole sharing experience convenient and possible. - I was just about to type, "Really, just those 3, seemed like more." and then you go and ad another. It probably is just those 4 those, and Mewtoo doesn"t really count as a feature, he"s just DLC so no big deal to me (my kids can"t wait though), but it makes it look like they REALLY wanted this out for the holidays to leave out tourneys, sharing and Miiverse integration. So can we finally kick "a delayed game can be good, a bad game is bad forever" to the curb now? Maybe change it to "an on time game can be patched later, missing Black Friday is a no-no". Oh, and w/ those 4 things coming later maybe Christmas 2015 Nintendo can release it"s first "GOTY" ed w/ those 3 features on disc and Mewtoo on the cover so everyone who buys it can get him? They do patches and paid DLC now, might as well do re-releases as well. Oh, funny thought I had this mornig - Nintnedo first announced this as "Winter 2014" before changing it to "Holiday 2015" but now it"s coming out in
"Fall 2014". Though I suppose Nov 21 is close enough to T-day to still be "holiday". They did miss a marketing opportunity though - "SSB U in Autumn 2014, with 8-player battles fighters will be falling like leaves!". Trust me, it would be funny if that announcer said it. Thanks for counting those for me, I was going to do it when I re-watched the vid w/ my kids last night but they were busy playing the Pokemon ASOR demo, we"ll watch it today after school. And not get SSBU until Christmas b/c ASOR releases the same day and they"ll be busy for a month trying to catch them all. Maybe all the patches - minus Mewtoo - will be in by then? I love the gamepad display. I"m going to bring my wiiu to work for lunch smashing sessions and i love that i can use my 3ds as a controller so i dont have to bring wiimotes for coworkers. Great. Didn"t they pull this same crap with Mario kart 8? So dumb. It can"t be that hard to have voice chat while playing online. STAGE BUILDER. I already have a page of sketches! Voice Chat: Can"t be used during the game due to with connection issues ...but ..shouldn"t there be an..op... Bah. I"m not an expert on how this works. Just glad for it to be there.Stage Builder! Not only improved but is actually using the game pad. Sweet. Leave A Comment Hold on there, you need to to post a comment... Related Articles What would U suggest for Mii? Renin Wilben Albert Modified 28 Sep 2022 Follow Us 1 Comment Share Virat Kohli batting in an ODI against South Africa earlier this year. Pic: Getty Images Senior Team India batter Virat Kohli will be one of the key figures in the Men in Blue line-up during the three-match T20I series against South Africa at home. The India-South Africa series will begin with the 1st T20I on Wednesday (September 28) in Thiruvananthapuram, while the remaining two games will be played in Guwahati (October 2) and Indore (October 4). Kohli will be going into the T20I series against South Africa high on confidence. After enduring a long barren patch, he took a break from the tours of West Indies and Zimbabwe. He returned as a rejuvenated player for the Asia Cup, where he was the team’s leading run-getter with 276 runs in five matches at an average of 92. He also notched up his first hundred in over 1000 days during the Super 4 game against Afghanistan. The 33-year-old played a crucial hand in the deciding T20I against Australia in Hyderabad, scoring 63 in 48 as Team India chased down a target of 187. The former India captain will be keen to carry on his good form against South Africa as well.
Virat Kohli stats vs SA Looking at Kohli’s performance against South Africa in the other two formats, he has scored 1236 runs in 14 Tests at an impressive average of 56.18 with three hundreds. His Test best of 254* against the Proteas came in Pune in October 2019. Kohli’s other Test hundreds versus South Africa have been as follows - 119 in Johannesburg (December 2013) and 153 in Centurion (January 2018). The former India skipper has an excellent record against India in ODIs as well. The prolific batter has notched up 1403 runs in 30 one-dayers at an average of 61, with four hundreds. His best of 160* came in Cape Town in February 2018, during the 3rd ODI of the six-match series. Kohli’s brilliance led Team India to a thumping 124-run win.
