Have an old Voyager System? Then you have come to the right place! If your old Voyager Monitor or Voyager Camera went out this package is perfect for you. We supply a replacment Monitor that comes with a in dash insert trim, if your older Weldex monitor is in your dash this will make sure it fits the hole. The monitor also comes with an adapter to directly connect to your old wiring so its a very quick and easy swap!

Our backup camera replacement will also fit in the same spot as the old Voyager Camera. It also comes with an adapter so there is NO wiring at all. The swap should be done in a matter of minutes with the SAME wiring you currently have.

This system will also have color and nightvision (still using your old cable). You can also upgrade your newly installed system with options such as high definition or parking distance lines for example. You can also upgrade the monitor to allow more cameras so you can connect side cameras to this system. Those cameras can be wired or wirless its up to you.

The Voyager 5.6" Color LCD Backup System is a high-bright automotive grade color TFT LCD monitor which can aid you when reversing or changing lanes in your Rv. Two camera inputs allow you to view different angles while moving to assure that you have enough space to move freely. The Voyager LCD Backup System has a unobtrusive LCD screen that measures 5-7/8" W x 5-1/4" H x 1-1/4" D and can be mounted on various monitor mounts and also features easy-to-use front controls. The Observation Monitor not only with stands the tough road conditions like vibrations, electrostatic discharge, humidity, and temperature changes, but delivers high quality images to eliminate those dangerous blind spots surrounding your vehicle even at night. The Camera has a built in auto-on so when you shift into reverse it turn"s on automatically and the rear view image appears when selecting your reverse gear. This Backup System can be paired with any two of Voyager"s rear or side body observation cameras for accurate and effective Viewing. The Camera housing is made of an injection molded plastic for extra durability and weather resistance. Also includes a metal mounting bracket with angle adjustments, and 65" cable.

Plus, I figure if I stick with Voyager, I"d have an easier time with compatibility with the cables and the rear camera. These things tend to be rather proprietary.

Tim at RVCams has a nice selection of backup camera systems. Not only that, he has done most of the work to ensure compatibility with older systems. He makes it really easy to find compatible, direct replacements for your rear backup monitors on older motorhomes like mine.

At one point, I considered an off-brand monitor that I had found on ETrailer. I didn"t pull the trigger on it and eventually they removed it from their site. Plus, I"m sure I would have had to probably deal with RVCams anyway in order to find the right adapter to make that off-brand monitor work with my Voyager camera.

So, I decided to simply buy the whole kit from RVCams. Tim sells a plug-and-play replacement: Kit to Install 7" Voyager LCD in Place of VOM78, VOM7SN, AOM70, and AOM78.

Once the panel is removed, unscrew the monitor from the bracket mount. Unplug the camera input(s) and power from the old monitor and then totally remove the monitor.

This monitor also has cables on the harness to support 2 additional camera. My rig only has 1 camera, so I just don"t use them. But, I guess I have room for expandability if I ever decided to do that.
