When you use the others LCD screen from the others seller, you could check the PDF instruction in documentation file or open the UTFT.h file to find the correct code.The controller mode could be identifitied by the back mark as the following pictures.

Note: In the project of testing the SD card,please insert the SD card into the slot in back of the 3.2’’ LCD screen. The format of files in SD card must be the FAT32, you need to put the test files(i.e. ICONS.RAW,WAIT4GPS.RAW,SK45) into the SD card root directory.

Contact your seller on e-Bay. Ask him what display it is supposed to emulate. Look in the Supported Display file that comes with UTFT/URTouch libraries in the documents folder. See if that display is listed and use its definition in your programs.

I am trying to use a 3.2 inch Touch TFT Display on a Mega 2560. I have purchased a Shield from Amazon which states it is for a mega. The display is a ILI9341 3.2 inch TFT Display Module LCD Screen 320x240 Resistive Touch Panel. I have spent hours trying different tutorials and different sketch"s, but all I get is a white screen. I believe I am using the correct libraries so something else is not right. I suspect it may be that the shield is not correct as have been stated in other conversations. I don"t know how to determine if it is the correct on one for that display. When I look at other shields they do not seem to give enough information regarding the pin-out. I guess my question is how to determine which one is correct? I am fairly new but have developed other Arduino sketches" but nothing this complicated. Can anyone clue me in on how to take care of this problem?

I used a logic analyser to review the Texas Instrument chip used for the screen, this showed the best option seemed to be to attach the IRQ to a pin on arduino as an ege triggered interrupt. rather than use the polll techniues and read while low.

The UTouch Library solution is fair, but holding the pointer still whilst sampling for a series of locations I find difficult, my customers founmd impossible.

Rewrote the calibration to cycle defined points round screen to acieve am average Y for TOP, BOTTOM and average x for LEFT, RIGHT with that and some simple maths can scale any touch sample read to be position on screen

Voltage type: 5v or 3v voltage input voltage,input is selectable. Because TFT can only work under 3.3 V voltage, so when the input voltage VIN is 5V, need through the 3.3 V voltage regulator IC step down to 3.3V , when the input voltage of 3.3 V, you need to use the zero resistance make J2 short , is equivalent to not through the voltage regulator IC for module and power supply directly.
