2.4 tft lcd shield work with 3.3v for sale

Ordered 2 screens and both arrived with driver chip damaged. seller did not offer any technical support, apparently has no technical background. Seller offered me a full refund, but ask me to send back damaged screens with free return label. I lost many hours trying figure out what is going on with these screens, don"t feel like spend more time or money on this seller. Waste of time avoid. Don"t recommend at all.

The 2.4 inch TFT Touch Screen Module with micro SD card slot is now available as a SHIELD for Arduino UNO. It has a four wire resistive touch screen, a micro SD card socket, a reset switch and a convenient Arduino Uno shield footprint.

This module is designed to plug directly into Arduino UNO R3 (or its clone) boards. It is compatible with CH340 and Atmega16u2 version boards, as well as Mega 2560. This LCD shield may also work with other boards, but the compatibility can"t be guaranteed.

Quite honestly, the mcufriend UNO shields are excellent value. And they are electrically correct. i.e. you can run them safely on 3.3V logic or 5V logic.

Yes, it would be really nice to have a ready-made UNO shield that contained a SPI TFT, SPI Touch, SPI microSD socket with the appropriate level-converters for 3.3V and 5V operation. This arrangement would only use the 3x2 SPI header + 6 GPIO pins for chip-selects, irq, reset, register-select. i.e. 9 pins leaving 11 GPIO pins for your application.
