You may experience TV screen issues if the cable you're using to connect the TV to an external device (such as a gaming console or set-top box) is damaged or defective, or if the cable isn't properly secured to either the TV or connected device. Sometimes, even using the wrong HDMI port or TV input can create a picture error.
If your TV has the LED Dynamic Control feature, it should always be turned on. Keep this is mind when adjusting your TV settings, as it may switch off when the Picture setting is set to Custom.

Almost all Sony LCD TVs have a Light Sensor feature, which optimises the screen brightness accordingly depending on the ambient light in your room. For example, the screen brightness will decrease in a darker room and increase in a brighter room.
Image retention occurs when an image remains on the screen for long and extensive periods, or if the same image is displayed repeatedly over and over again. This causes a temporary or permanent image to linger on the screen even after you've changed the channel or turned the programme off, almost like a residual shadow. However, there are steps you can take to prevent image retention on your TV.

A blurry picture on the TV screen could be caused by enabling Screen mirroring. Keep the following in mind when using this feature:

If the Picture reset mode of your OLED TV is set to On during a power reset, the TV screen will go completely black. This happens because the TV enters Standby mode when performing a panel calibration. The screen will return to normal after about ten minutes once the calibration is complete.
It's possible the picture settings of your TV are not ideal for the content you're watching (e.g., contrast and brightness issues). If you've changed the picture settings before, we recommend resetting them to default values. Otherwise, you can try optimising the settings for the content you're watching.
