Figured I would write a review about this TV since apparently many have had tons of trouble with this TV. I was not one of those and wanted to give an honest review of this TV when it doesn"t break on you.

Been using it since black friday 2009 for an xbox 360 gaming center during high school then as well for only a little gaming as well as redbox movies in college. Picture has been very good (especially for its age) throughout 4 1/2 years of use and counting with it still working like new.

It is now my desktop monitor for a cheap Dell Optiplex 745 I bought from my college getting rid of old computers. It surprisingly can run all the way up to 1920x1080 however text is blurry in firefox and and any text programs like Microsoft Word or for coding programs like Microsoft Visual studios, python, or BlueJ and Eclipse. I went down to 1366x768 which is the TV"s native resolution and it looks just as good as the monitor it replaced. Might be able to upscale or with tweaking could get 1920x1080 to work properly, if so i"ll update this review but if not assume i failed.

Overall it has handled well. I have of course been very careful with it though. However I did leave the TV overnight once during a christmas holiday in my car to freeze when returning home for college christmas break and forgot to bring it into the house until morning, but that appears to not have occurred.

As for any kind of breaking of sorts I haven"t had to repair anything ever so I guess I"m lucky or I have a good model. The model some people refer to (including the one this review is on, can"t find the one for my model) is probably not the same one for this one is far too durable to come off the same assembly line.

What changes in most model numbers is whatever is after the LC320EM as there is EM2 and EM1F are the only two models I know of and mine has the 1F afterwards. Get that one if you are wanting an Emerson LC320EM model TV.

But of course it helps with more voices. It"s too bad not many people check the EXACT model type on their TV as that would help a lot of people here distinguish between the good ones and the bad but in this case I can at least give support to at least 1 being good.
