cyber monday lcd monitors quotation
Cyber Monday is here, which means it’s your last chance to swoop in and take advantage of any monitor deals. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, don’t fret. The team at PCWorld curated a list of the best monitor deals available right now. Whether you’re on the hunt for a lightning fast gaming monitor or a luxurious 4K workstation, we’ve got a wide variety on tap today. If you’re interested in other tech deals, check out PCWorld’s complete Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals coverage.
There’s nothing more annoying than playing a competitive game on a monitor that lags. When every second matters, you need something that can keep up with the flow. That’s where gaming monitors come in. Their high refresh rates are designed to make your game look as smooth as possible. Check out the options below.
Are you a content creator? If so, you should consider picking up a 4K monitor. These monitors are perfect for video editing thanks to their high resolution displays. They’re also a good pick for movie buffs. There’s nothing quite like watching your favorite flick on a 4K display, where the details are ultra-sharp.
Yes, absolutely, you can find some great deals on monitors during the week of Black Friday/Cyber Monday—as evidenced by the great deals in the article above. Mind you, in some tech categories—like say, wireless earbuds or phone chargers—you’ll see discounts on off-brand gear we’d never recommend. But when it comes to monitors, highly reputable brands like HP, Dell, Samsung and Lenovo will drop prices on great models. PCWorld strives to only recommend deals on solid monitors that are experiencing legitimate pricing drops. To this end, we look for models that have reached or fallen below their all-time-low prices.
No, there’s no reason why the monitor deals you find during Cyber Monday should be lower quality—at least if you focus on the big-name manufacturers like Samsung, Philips, LG, Dell, HP, Lenovo and so on. It’s true that some of the discounted monitors may be 2021 models, but there’s nothing wrong with that. Monitor tech moves rather slowly and there won’t be major quality differences between 2021 and 2022 models. The important thing is to get a monitor at a legitimately lower price—and we have done the heavy lifting to curate those legit deals.
Resolution is another important feature to consider. Much like the refresh rate, the higher the number, the better. We’re talking about the quality of images and video here. 1080p is the bare minimum for most monitors. However, if you’re a video editor, bumping the resolution up to 4K makes a massive difference, as it allows you to see more detail.
The final thing is the screen size. 27 inches is the most common and a good size for a home office. For gaming monitors, 24 or 27 inches is best. Sometimes a larger screen causes eye strain and if you’re going to be staring at one for hours, it’s better to go a bit smaller. For 4K monitors, 32-inches is a good option, as it gives you quite a bit of screen to work with.
PCWorld reviews new monitors every month. So, if you want to see the models we’ve rated the highest, check out our rankings for the best monitors of 2022. We also have more granular picks on the best gaming monitors, as well as the best 4K monitors for desktop workstations. Come Black Friday, a lot of our top picks may be on sale, so don’t limit your shopping only to the deals we’ve called out above.
Amazon’s going to have a slew of awesome deals. That’s a given. However, for monitors, you should definitely peruse the main pages of HP, Dell and Lenovo. Personally, I find myself going directly to the manufacturers more often than not. You can also widen your net and scope out other online retailers like Best Buy and Newegg.
And for the next few hours — while Cyber Monday lasts — you can find steep discounts on both curved and flatscreen gaming monitors, saving you upwards of $1oo on top brands including Samsung, Acer, LG, and more.
Curved monitors are great for gaming, but can be expensive. That"s why we"re happy to showcase this 24-inch curved monitor from Samsung, which is nearly half-off from Best Buy right now.
Odyssey is Samsung"s flagship series of gaming monitors. While this specific model only boasts a 165Hz refresh rate — not as high as the premium 240Hz offered by more expensive models — it"s still got Full HD resolution, fast response time, and a competitive price. Today it"s $80 off, which is a pretty good sale.
This curved LG gaming monitor offers a massive amount of screen size, full HD resolution, and a fast refresh rate, all for a pretty fantastic price: Only $300 on Cyber Monday.
Sceptre makes great budget gaming monitors, and this model is no exception. For barely more than $100, you can snag this 27-inch Full HD gaming monitor with incredibly thin bezels and built-in speakers — great for gamers who need a solid monitor without breaking the bank.
This LG monitor isn"t the biggest, but offers Full HD resolution and a fantastic 144Hz refresh rate. And best of all, during Cyber Monday, it"s only $120, making it an amazing budget choice.
This Sony monitor is one of the least expensive 4K gaming monitors we"ve found. You"ll get a great 4K screen with ultra-thin bezels and a fast 144Hz refresh rate. If you have the money, it"s definitely worth a look.
For years, both computer monitors and TV screens boasted about how flat they are. But recently, the gaming monitor world has started putting more and more emphasis on curved monitors.
Curved monitors, proponents claim, let you see more of the screen at once without having to move your eyes. This can help combat eye strain, and is especially good for fast-paced games that require players to keep track of multiple things at once. Curved monitors also take up less horizontal desk space without sacrificing screen size.
That said, there isn"t a tremendous amount of scientific evidence to back up the health benefit claims. Curved monitors can also be more susceptible to glare issues, depending on your lighting setup. And although they take less horizontal space, it"s harder to fit curved monitors flat against a wall.
Compared to non-gaming monitors, a lot of the options we"ve recommended put emphasis on their "refresh rate," measured in Hertz (Hz). The industry standard for refresh rate is about 140Hz, although you can find up to 240 or even 360Hz on high-end models.
Among the many deals available this Cyber Monday, you can find great discounts on a range of monitors, graphic cards, and solid state drives (SSDs) from all sorts of top brands.
If you"re looking for a flashy RGB-enabled gaming computer, but don"t have the time or know-how to build the rig yourself, check out this prebuilt PC from iBUYPOWER. It comes with RGB fans, a powerful RTX 3070 GPU, and a whopping 1TB of solid state drive space. And during Cyber Monday, it"s more than $400 off — a fantastic price for a setup like this.
ROG Strix is ASUS" premiere PC gaming brand, and this prebuilt PC is a great example of the quality that name brings. This setup has a speedy CPU, a powerful RTX 3060 graphics card, a hook for holding your headphones, and 1TB of solid state drive space, all for only $1200 during Cyber Monday — that"s more than $200 off.
Curved monitors are great for gaming, but can be expensive. That"s why we"re happy to showcase this 24-inch curved monitor from Samsung, which is nearly half-off from Best Buy right now.
This wired mechanical keyboard comes with RGB lighting and a soft palm rest to place your hands while working. Mechanical keyboards can be expensive, but this model is nearly half-off for Cyber Monday.

Cyber Monday is one of the best times to score a great deal on a new laptop. Be sure to read through our guides to the Best Laptops, Best Budget Laptops, Best Gaming Laptops, and How to Choose the Right Laptop for help figuring out which laptop is the best for you. Below are some of our favorite deals right now.Surface Laptop 4Photograph: Microsoft
This is the best budget option in our guide to the Best Monitors. It packs a 1440p LCD TFT display (which is the minimum you"d want for a screen this size) and a 165-Hz refresh rate (with AMD FreeSync support). It doesn"t have HDR support, but we still think this is a great gaming monitor for an affordable price. It does go on sale often but doesn"t usually hit this low in price.
Both Gear editor Michael Calore and Reviews editor Adrienne So love Road Runner"s made-in-the-US bike bags. They particularly recommend this Comrad backpack, as well as the Lil Guy fanny pack, and the Burrito handlebar bag. Everything on the site is 25 percent off with the code CYCLE MONDAY.
The Oversized Recycled Sling Bag is one of our favorite bags. It"s great for both form and function, featuring recycled materials and plenty of room. It"s hardly the only bag on sale though. Some of our other favorites, like the Lo & Sons Pearl Crossbody Bag and the Troubador Featherweight Tote, are both on sale for Cyber Monday—so much so that we wrote up a whole separate deals post on Cyber Monday Backpack Deals.

Normally costing almost $1,400, you can get it right now for under a grand with this Black Friday monitor deal from Amazon.

Although we"re seeing some decent monitor savings right now, good things come to those who wait. In recent years, we"ve seen monitor deals begin to drop in late October, with more offers becoming available in mid-November. However, the best deals are usually reserved for the weekend after Thanksgiving, and we saw some of the biggest discounts last year on Cyber Monday itself.
Data from Adobe(opens in new tab) confirms this. Its research shows that computers and electronics drop in price throughout November and reach their lowest price in the last week of the month. They then rise again in December. Last year, Adobe found that computers were 14.16% cheaper on Cyber Monday, while electronics prices in general were reduced by 11.76%, so computer products are an even better deal than average.
That said, it"s important to remember that some monitors will not be on sale at all in November. Similarly, good deals may have become available on a monitor you like before Cyber Monday, but there"s no guarantee that that deal will get better on Cyber Monday. So, if you see a monitor you love at a price you like, it may be better to commit to buying than try to wait for something better than might never materialize.
Even before the Covid-19 pandemic, both online and physical stores have started to hold online-only deals over the course of Black Friday, but that trend has accelerated in the past few years. Now, the lines between Black Friday and Cyber Monday are fully blurred. This means that a greater number of Cyber Monday monitor deals are available before the weekend leading up to Cyber Monday itself, so if you"ve missed out on Black Friday sales, then you can still get some great deals all around.Where will the best Cyber Monday monitor deals be?The best Cyber Monday deals aren"t officially live yet, but figuring out when a late Black Friday deal ends and when an early Cyber Monday deal begins is a lost art. Essentially, the entire four day stretch between Black Friday and Cyber Monday is a fantastic time to save money on big ticket purchases, so if you see something you want at a great price, ignore the date on the calendar and buy a great deal before it"s too late.
All that said, the top retailers for Cyber Monday are pretty consistent year over year:Amazon: gaming monitor(opens in new tab), 4K monitor(opens in new tab)
Best Buy: great HD monitor deals(opens in new tab)Which monitors will be discounted for Cyber Monday? It"s not possible to say exactly which monitors will be reduced to what level in the Cyber Monday sales. However, we imagine that most brands and retailers will offer an attractive discount on at least some of their lineup.
If you"re stuck then you can always check out our list of the best PC gaming monitors or the best business monitors. These will show you the products we feel are the cream of the crop right now. What Cyber Monday monitor deals do we expect in 2022?Based on previous years, it seems likely that many monitors will be reduced by 15-20% on Cyber Monday.
Not only should we see tons of gaming-oriented monitors on sale, but we should also see ones geared towards regular productivity and professional grade options that specialise in photography and video editing.
There"ll be a type of monitor for every need, so the important thing is to regularly check for the best Cyber Monday monitor deals - which we"ll have here.
Let"s talk about resolutionfirst. The most common are HD (sometimes called 1080p, FHD or Full HD) and 4K (also called 2160p, UHD or Ultra HD), though 1440p (or 2K) displays are also becoming more common; especially in regards to PC gaming monitors.
The higher the refresh rate the better, but you"ll also often find that monitors with a high refresh rate will have a lower resolution. You can find 4K monitors with a high refresh rate, but these are especially expensive - all the better for saving your cash until they appear in the sales!
This is one of the best 4K gaming monitors on the market right now. It sports an ultra-wide 21:9 aspect ratio, near 4K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and a pretty solid port selection. It also helps that it looks absolutely stunning with the use of RGB lighting on the back of the monitor. This monitor may also see price reductions of 15% to 20% off this Cyber Monday.
Not all 4K monitors need to break the bank, and the Gigabyte M32UC is proof of that. A crystal clear picture, great features, 4K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and large screen all comes together in a package that"s currently less than $600. This monitor is already on the cheaper side, which means we"ll likely see it discounted by about 10%, but don"t count out some major deals on this one.Round up of today"s best deals

I missed all the Balck Friday and Cyber Monday deals, and my laptop just got knocked off my desk over the weekend, and it’s toast. I’m going to wait a week or so and see if there are any after Christmas deals or open-box specials at Best buy.
Hoping you can help- I’m looking to buy my sister a laptop on cyber monday. She listens to a lot of music on youtube, downloads files, watches videos, does her university homework on it. She had a Chromebook before but didn’t like it so not getting that again. What would you recommend for a laptop under $300 dollars for cybermonday? There are so many options and I’d like to narrow it down to about 3 different options.
Nice announcement but they are new products. I have found a website Memory4Less.com, also offer the best deals on Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2020. Last year I purchased some hard-to-find laptop parts and accessories like CPUs, Storage Devices, Charges and, Adapters. I think need to visit to just check out the deals.
Yesterday I got the Walmart weekly circular for this week and they have the same Samsung Chromebook 3,4G for only $99, $20 cheaper than the Best Buy Chromebook. It was in stock so I bought it there, too. I contacted Best Buy before buying at Walmart but after buying at Best Buy. This is when I found out they will not price match. That fact is not disclosed on their website, nor was it advertised or given to me when I picked up and paid at the store on Monday (this past Monday, a few days ago). So, maybe a price difference of $20 isn’t earth shattering but the fact that store so heavily advertises their ‘price match guarantee’ and then says oh, no, not this time frame, sorry…. the Walmart deal is not a ‘doorbuster’ but you do have to buy it at the store, not online. That is the only difference in the 2 computers. I am so disgusted with Best Buy. I bought at Walmart and will return the Best Buy purchase. They could have kept me as a customer by honoring their advertising and matching a competitor’s price, but they didn’t so I won’t be a customer going forward.
Hi, Lenovo’s Black Friday / Cyber Monday ads are not out yet. But if they offer the ThinkPad T470 with SSD, i5 CPU, and at least 4GB RAM for $500, I think that would be a very good deal. That’s because ThinkPad T-series laptop are much more sturdy than a typical budget notebook. The caveat here is that the T470 is an old model from 2-3 years ago and uses old 6th Gen Intel Core processors. There are the (pricier) T480 and T490 with newer and faster processors, but even a 6th Gen i5 is very good for the daily computing tasks, especially if paired with SSD and 8GB RAM (4GB can be usable too). Also, if display quality matters to you, make sure your laptop has at least Full HD resolution and IPS technology for wide viewing angles. However, Full HD IPS laptops with at least i5 and SSD aren’t very common in the $500 price range.
It’s a decent machine for under $400. But right now my favorite in that price range is the 13.3-inch Dell Inspiron 13 i3378-3340GRY-PUS 2-in-1 ($379 Cyber Monday price on MS Store listed above) because of IPS touch-screen. A problem with the Dell is that maintenance manual for it isn’t listed on the Dell site so I’m not 100% sure whether it features two RAM slots. But I guess the i3378 is actually 5378 (3378 apparently doesn’t exists in Dell’s official lineup). They look the same and have the same main specs, so I assume they are both identical inside. Meaning the 3378 has 2 RAM slots, as same as the 5378.
Hello thanks for posting this. I am looking for a laptop with a screen of 15.6 or 17.3. I am not sure which brand…always had HP. Is Dell better? I just mostly surf the web, play music, and download family photos. Looking for a deal on Cyber Monday.
That’s a tough question. It really depends on a particular offer. But, generally I would say on Black Friday price cuts are more aggressive than on Cyber Monday. On the other hand, laptops with huge discounts sell out very quickly during Black Friday / Thanksgiving sales. Oftentimes in just a couple of minutes after the deal goes live.
Looking for a little advice if not too far past Cyber Monday. I actually purchased the Costco 1014333 – HP Envy 17. The main specs that drew me were the I7-5500U with a 4GB NVIDEA 850M and 17″ IPS for $699. I’ve since seen an HP Envy 15T Slim at $799 boasting an I7-6700HQ with 4GB NVIDEA 950M and 15″ IPS. Both are 16 GB DDR3L RAM and with the exception of the optical drive in the 15t are very similar. The question is – is the HP 15t as above worth the extra $100. Primary system uses – my son uses it for school and gaming and I will use it for ocassionally for photo editing and drawing/drafting with MS Visio and InkScape.
Thank you for this informative article! I was wondering though, do you think the new Lenovo yoga 900 will go on sale on Cyber Monday even though it hasn’t gone on sale on Black Friday and it was just released a few weeks ago? I know you’re not a mind reader but do you know if Lenovo (Or Best Buy because those are the two vendors that sell the 900) have historically posted sales on Cyber Monday that they have not posted on Black Friday (For example did the Yoga 3 Pro go on sale last Cyber Monday right after it was released)? If not, I think I will just buy the Yoga 900 open box from Best Buy for 1079$; I just can’t stand how slow my Yoga 3 Pro is with the core M right now. Any insight from anyone would be much appreciated, thank you guys!
The Dell Inspiron 15 i5558-5718SLV Signature Edition offers good performance and Full HD display as its main selling points. It appears to be the best choice under $500. But, if you can spend $550 this Black Friday / Cyber Monday, the HP Envy x360 m6-w103dx and HP Pavilion 15-ab292nr Signature Edition additionally deliver IPS wide viewing angle display technology, Plus, the HP Pavilion 15-ab292nr includes a quad-core i7 CPU, which is recommended if you do a lot of photography editing, video editing and similar demanding tasks.
In short, if you want the best performance the HP Pavilion 15-ab292nr with a quad-core i7 CPU is the way to go, while the HP Envy m6 has the best chassis design with aluminum on the palmrest and LCD lid. I would exclude the Dell, since it lacks IPS technology for wide viewing angles and therefore isn’t as good for movie watching as the previous two.
Hi Danijel. Thank you for this article and all of your input! I am looking at the Dell Inspiron with 5th gen i7 laptop from Dell Cyber Monday sale or the Toshiba Intel i7 at Staples. Do you recommend one over the other? Or is there a better 15.6 option available? I use the laptop mainly for movies/music, work, and light gaming.
Hi, Tiffany. What I don’t like about the laptops you mentioned ( Dell Inspiron 3000 listed in the Cyber Monday ad for $599 and Toshiba S55-C5274 for $599 from Staples Black Friday ad, right?) are their displays. For under $600 you can get a laptop with much better Full HD resolution and also IPS technology for wide viewing angles, which will greatly improve picture quality for your movies. A good option is the HP Envy x360 m6-w103dx with Full HD / IPS and additionally touch / flip display and sleek design for $549 at Best Buy on Black Friday- listed above. The m6-w103dx includes a bit slower i5 CPU instead of i7, but chances are you will never notice the difference during the tasks you mentioned. Now, the Cyber Monday Dell Inspiron has a dedicated video card which greatly improves gaming performance, but it you play only light games you can maybe get away with only the basic Intel HD integrated graphics. As for the Toshiba S55 deal, it has no meaningful advantages over the Dell nor HP Envy x360 m6, plus to get the price of $599.99 you have to deal with a $50 rebate. After instant off only its $649.99. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.
Thanks Daniel. this is the one.ill be getting. price bumped back up $200 and my heart dropped a bit but I’m guessing it will drop back come cyber Monday
