There’s also the luxury Mate 20 RS Porsche Design, which seems to come with the exact same display of the Mate 20 Pro, following in the footsteps of a Mate RS Porsche Design that actually used an LG-made panel. Apparently, Huawei is not as forgiving or patient as Google.

In fact, the Huawei Mate 40 is a flagship smartphone in all ramification. It is a shame that such a high-quality device can not use the major feature that users outside China desire.

From what we know, the highest fast charging technology from Huawei is 66W. However, a top executive from Huawei revealed today that the company has up to 200W fast charging technology. According to Yu Chendong, Huawei has an active 120W or even 200W fast charging technology. Nevertheless, he also said that this technology is not in use because the current level of development in the smartphone industry does not permit it

With the current smartphone battery sizes in the industry, a 200W fast charging will probably fill a phone in 10 minutes or less. It will not make sense to charge a battery from 0% to 100% in 10 minutes. This will obviously kill the performance of the battery. For Huawei, the 50W wireless charging capacity is a balance point for the current level in the industry.
