The latest 1080p version really does its job, has smart features such as loop recording; which wipes old data and keeps recording so you never run of out space. Appearance: The colors are black on dash cam and suction mount. The cam doesn"t look faded like some other cams I bought. Build: Firstly, the cam is made out of plastic, however the plastic is very durable. The lens is strong, but admittedly I didn"t touch the lens a lot. The display screen shows a nice clear view at whatever the cam is pointed at. The suction cup is also a hard plastic. I am very impressed of the suction. There were no creeks or felt like the suction cup was going to break after adjusting the cup at different angles. Once I apply the suction cup with the cam the cup would not come off my windshield. I light tap the dash came, ran over a speed bump(normal speed), accidentally hit a small pothole, but the dash cam/suction cup didn"t fall off the windshield. Also, the buttons including the power button are very "clicky." The buttons never felt like there was any play/loose. Features: This Dash Cam is filled with features. These features are very functional and not exaggerated by the manufactures. Some features are: auto on/off(G sensor), recording looping, SD card slot, park record, night vision etc. My favorite feature is the HD resolution. I am extremely happy with the different HD options. I added a video to this review to show how clear the video is. My settings were 1280X720 60FPS. Of a person can change the settings if they prefer. Battery: I charged to battery to 100% in about 2 hours. I drove around doing my normal chores and the cam lasted during the day. However, because if someone uses the Cam at its highest resolution the battery will drain faster. My advice is keep the cam charged using the car charger USB cable. If a person does not have a car charger adapter in their car and must use the battery option in the cam just keep a portable powerbank nearby. Mic: This Cam does has a mic and pick up sounds nicely, however the audio is not in my video. Conclusion: I really like this dash cam! I wanted one after someone almost ran into me. I didn"t want his word against my word, but wanted an unbiased witness that"s always running. This dash cam has a nice build, features and amazing resolution! I think because of all its features and build I can have this dash cam for a long time. This is a really nice buy! *I will update with night vision*

There"s not a whole lot to this camera; it"s just a (very) big lens, a large screen, and very little else to distract you while driving. I had a quick read at the excellently written colour user manual, inserted an SD card, and went about fitting it in my car. The mount is small and effective - it sticks to the window in the usual way, with a twise lever to lock it in place. The supplied power supply cable is more than long enough to run from the cigar lighter, across the dash to the pillars and round the windscreen in any car. I dislike having any cables around my car, so I spend half an hour wiring it in at the car"s fuse board, and concealing the cable in the pillar and roof trim, so the only piece of cable that"s visible is where it drops out behind my rear-view mirror. The camera"s just small enough to sit entirely behind the rear view mirror, ensuring that you don"t have any unnecessary distractions cluttering up your view. Video quality is excellent - it"s smooth and clear, and the 170 degree wide angle captures a wide view of everything from the windscreen. The large screen has a decent viewing angle and can be seen clearly from both passenger and driver"s seats. The device contains an accelerator, and if an accident is detected, it automatically saves the video in a read-only folder, giving you peace of mind that you"ll not lose your video evident in the heat of the moment if you do have an accident. It comes in an attractive box that makes it ideal as a gift.

So far, so good - bought this to put in my mother"s car since the on-mirror version of dashcams won"t fit with the "smart" rearview mirror she already has (programmable buttons, compass, etc). I chose this one both for the size (tiny!) and the compatible SD card size of 64GB -- Mom is not tech-savvy, so anything that might require formatting often is no good. This will store weeks of driving (she"s retired) before anything might need to be cleared. The features are the same as many of the larger dash cams, and since I don"t need a lot of tech, paying for a version with a wifi app or similar doesn"t make sense. It"s a small enough design that it doesn"t obstruct view at all, and using a different vendor"s universal under-mirror mount, it barely shows at all while driving. The suction cup included seems to be good quality; unfortunately, living in Southern California, the warmth during the day means suction cups never last more than a few minutes. And also unfortunately, Southern California commuters mean there is a definite need for a dash cam!

I was pleasantly surprised by this dash cam! It is a fairly small camera approximately half the size of a regular GPS monitor therefore it is not taking too much space on your windshield and does not obstruct your vision. The camera is very easy to use: just plug in the Car charger/USB cord to the camera and it automatically turns on when you start the car. The Camera will start recording instantaneously when you start driving. One feature I was very impressed with is the suction. As simple as it may sound I have experienced major inconvenience with other items (previous GPS, dash cam etc.) that had very bad suction and the item kept on falling after a few moments. The suction cup on this camera is very efficient and kept the camera stuck in place even when I hit some turbulence on speed bumps. I also really like the G-sensor and parking mode. It allows the camera to record automatically when it detects movement even when you are parked (e.g. another vehicle coming towards you and/or hitting you.) The loop recording is a great feature too so you don"t miss anything although if you run out of space on the SD card it will erase the oldest video. You can "lock" videos in case of accidents or anything that you want to keep so the loop feature does not erase it. The main drawback that I found is that the videos quality are very good overall but it is hard to see other vehicles license plate number (although it was raining the day I tried recording, I will try again during a sunny day and update on that.) Of note the memory card for the camera is not included. You will need to purchase your own micro SD card. Overall great product, I highly recommend it!

This is how we are operate now in this future. Dash cam is needed as we travel in any sort or transportation. Espicially 2018 more and more people drive without driver license and no car insurance. some will just hit us and run away without guilt. Some will pull over and exchange info of the accident. I bought this dash cam just to make sure when accident happen everything is recorded and it will be the best witness you get for the insurance claim. Great device no log what so ever on the recorded micro sd card. Best resources to have especially on your behalf. It"s tiny but big screen for the front dash that is recorded. Setting up this device is easy. Just to make sure you set the time and date right or it will not work. Don"t forget to put 32gb or 64 gb cam on the device or it will not record your activities.

Does what it’s mesnt to do. The box comes with everything but an sd card. Just plug and go. It gives me peace of mind when I’m driving with reckless drivers. Camera has a battery and continues to work with motion without car being on. Would reccomend. Image quality is very clear. 1080. Has a suction cup mount and a long wire to hide the cable.

When so many people on the roads texting and driving in now days, we just need to have a dash cam in every car. So far this was the best dash cam that we have. It doesn"t come with a SD micro card, but luckily we had a spare. The camera is compact and mounts securely to the windshield without obscuring a view. We were able to hide the cord that powers it under the car detailing. We have a big car, so power cord is long enough. The menu on the dash cam is very intuitive, we were able to select our preferences without any problems. The picture is wide and good enough to determine how the accident happened and whose fault. Everything is working as designed.

This is a great product! My husband is a firefighter and he is constantly running calls that he needs to go back and report on every event that happens. This was a birthday gift to him and he loved it. He had it out of the box and mounted in his truck within an hour of getting it. Now all the guys at the department are wanting to get one. It was very easy to set up. All I would recommend getting is an hd mini card for it. It is small and takes up no space as it suctions to the window. It is very clear and you can see anything you need to. It would work great to monitor your kids driving if you have a young driver or in his case running calls.

It arrived very well presented in a branded box on opening which the camera and its accessories were especially well packed and presented and include - camera (it’s a good one) - USB-power lead (it’s long enough to reach the rear windscreen of most American cars to film tailgaters/rear-end shunts) - camera windscreen mount (a good one with a screw fitting for the camera) - car charger (handy – and it can power the device while driving) - 2 USB cables - user manual (clearly written to be understood) Everything about the entire package is impressive and full marks go to whoever wrote the user guide. For once it is written in real English (not Chinglish) and makes a refreshing change from so many others. It is helpful, usable, readable and is the first dash-cam userguide I have seen which actually provides descriptions of the functions and their benefits, advice re positioning the camera and a printed guide to the menus and their options. For anyone who isn’t very familiar with dash-cams or for whom this is their first purchase, this guide should be of great benefit and, so far, is the first guide I’ve seen of this standard.So I recommend it! This screen is the brightest and clearest I have seen or used to date offering HD resolution, while also being the largest at 2” measured diagonally. As for the video recorded, this can be set at up to 1080p, the higher resolution the footage, then the more likely you are able to read the number plate of other vehicles in the event of a collision or other incident. In addition to its very easy set-up and bright, clear screen, the camera includes: - Motion Detection (so the camera switches and on records from the moment the vehicle moves with no need to manually switch it on at the start of each journey, - Loop recording – the camera will film in bursts of 1, 3 or 5 minutes files and once the card is full with automatically over-write earlier files to ensure you do not need to stop and manually delete files or re-format the memory card - G-sensor – in the event of a collision, the camera will sense this and record a locked file which will be stored for future user and not automatically overwritten - Parking monitor – if the vehicle is hit while parked then the camera will sense the motion and vibration and switch on automatically using its internal battery to record - Files can be manually locked by pressing the Menu button to lock a file currently being recorded - Internal battery –I noticed this lasted 370mAh battery significantly longer. I needed a second dash camera for my wife"s car, so I looked through Amazon and this one appealed to me a lot, so I ordered it. After a few days of using, I understood I made a good choice. First of all, It is compact and not too bulky. But if you live in the "bad" part of the city, you better find something else because it is not fully invisible. In normal use, it records short (up to 10 minutes) Full HD clips one after another and when the memory is full it deletes the oldest and starts recording again. The recorder stops and starts automatically. Second of all, the image quality will not upset you. I was a bit hesitant to pay almost $60 for the dash camera, but it"s worth it. It is important for me to have a good quality dash camera, as we travel a lot and I would like to keep some most picturesque recordings for my collection. This is a decent product, easy to set and the menu is intuitive. I just needed to buy an SD card, because it didn"t go in the package.
