Included in this repair service is a heavy duty replacement LCD and ribbon assembly that are manufactured as a one piece design with gold metal ribbon contacts for longer life and better conductivity.

Original factory LCD ribbons have heat bonded ribbons with conductive traces that fail prematurely and in some cases can deteriorate the LCD itself making it non-repairable especially true if you live in a climate that has very hot summers which cause the interior temperatures of your vehicle to be excessively high.

To save on shipping costs and to prevent possible damage during shipment from the additional weight, it is highly recommended that you remove the large display unit located in the center of the cluster which can be easily done by removing the back cover (which is held in by two screws) and sliding it out. You can re-install the back cover once it has been removed.

This is our 2004, 2005, and 2006 Nissan Quest LCD with bonded ribbon cable. Installing this LCD screen will fix common pixelation and other fading display screen issues. We started the design and manufacturing of this LCD back in 2014 due to an increasing need to repair this issue. The only other solution at the time was to purchase a brand new instrument cluster from Nissan.

When adding to your cart, you have the option of selecting our higher quality version of this LCD. The ribbon is different in that it is bonded in a more durable fashion. This higher quality LCD is suitable for very hot, dry climates such as Arizona where the LCD ribbon glue can literally melt off of the standard glass LCD.

If your cluster seems to lose all power or turn off / turn on when it is cold vs. hot outside, then a new LCD will not fix this problem. While this is not a common issue, our repair service will take care of this problem.

Please watch our installation videos below to ensure you are able to install this Nissan Quest LCD screen yourself. The installation video is very important to watch otherwise you may damage the LCD screen. If you do not follow the video exactly, especially the part where you gently loop the ribbon through the board, the display will not work. We will not be able to warranty or replace a physically damaged LCD. If the screen does not work after you install it, then there is a problem with your circuit board or the LCD and ribbon were not installed properly. There are no other possibilities.
