After all it"s barely noticeable and had I not been staring at the screen watching the update I probably would never had noticed just playing the game.

Depending on how deep the scratch was, if it was just a slight dull scratch, you can sometimes get by using either brasso polish, or (yes it works) an abrasive toothpaste, as long as you don"t mind the smell LOL. Diaper material or old worn out BUT CLEAN underwear works too.

If the scratch is deeper, you might be able to "fill in" by using clear floor polish to fill it in, let it dry, then polish it with water and a soft cloth.

Otherwise, what you need to do is sand it out. Yes, you have to be brave to take sandpaper to an LCD screen, but, I"ve done it in our office (machine dealer) to polish a scratch on an LCD photocopier screen.

You MUST use "sanding film", not sand paper. Drop by a dedicated hobby shop that caters to model car/airplane/RC types. You"ll want to start (depending on how deep) with around 800-1000 grit, WET sand with deionized or distilled
