Heater works great but the display is funky. It functions perfectly but the digits on the very top for the temperature setting are not displaying anything legible. The current temperature display below that is fine. What part do I need to see the entire display?
Hello Daryl. According to Raypak, the display is part number 013640F. LCD Display Screen Only - 013640F General installation instructions can be viewed on Youtube Raypak, Pool Heater Model C-R206A Up To CR406A LCD Attached please find the Installation and Operation Manual for the Raypak 406A Series Gas Heaters. My boiler is working well and without any issues however the digital display has begun to fail and become illegible. Is this the correct replacement for my unit? Thanks.
Hello. The Raypak Heater PCB Control Kit 013464F is a compatible replacement Main PCB for your Raypak Heater model P-M266A-EN-C. Raypak Heater PCB Control Kit - 013464F The display board only is available as Raypak part number 013640F. LCD Display Screen Only - 013640F
My pool heater it is working fine however the LCD digital display is broken and I can"t read the temperature in the LCD. Is the Display Screen - 013640F the correct replacement part to fix the issue ?
Hi Dio, We are showing that this is not the correct replacement. The proper replacement is this 017110F Board however this part has been discontinued by the manufacturer without a replacement. It might be time for a new heater, something like this Raypak 336AEN Pool Heater
I have a Raypak P-R336A-EN-Y heater (serial # is 1204140001) and can no longer read the display. All else works perfect. Will the 013640F LCD Display fix the problem or do I need to replace the entire PC board?
It could be either your display panel, board, or sensor. At this point, I would recommend giving Raypak a direct call to see if they can direct you in the best direction to fixing this.
Hello, wondering if this part will work for me. My heater no longer displays the temperature. All else works great with the heater. Appreciate your help.
Wow, thank you for your quick response! I would have thought all i needed was the display portion. That"s a big difference going from a small inexpensive part to a $300 part. Is that because of the make/model?
I believe the difference is that the one you require is both the PCB and Display where this item is just the display. For your model when replacing you have to replace both.
Hi Jim, This will work if your unit was manufactured after May of 2011. The heater’s model and serial numbers are located on the rating plate found on the inside of the unit. To locate the rating plate, first loosen the door screw. Remove the door(s), pull up and out. The rating plate will be either a gold or silver color with the Raypak logo. The serial number will have 10 digits. The date code is found in the first four digits of the serial number, for example, a unit made in April of 2001 will have the first four digits read as 0104.
Hi, DJ. Unfortunately, this LCD Display Screen - 013640F is NOT compatible with your unit if you have the original PCB. The PC Board Control IID Unit - 010253F has been discontinued for your unit.
Ok...so here is the board that is currently in our heater(see attached pic). It was replaced at some point. So...back to my original question :) any ideas on how I can get the display replaced? Thank you so much for all your time and assistance. DJ
Will this LCD display work with Model # P-M266A-EN-C S/N 1509283404? Is there any difficulty in installing this part and do I need any other parts if I replace this LCD Display? The display is barely visible but the unit is running fine.
I opened my pool 2 weeks ago. The heater started up fine, no issues. I ran it for maybe 30-60 minutes, just to make sure it was running fine. For the next...
It"s the time of year and pool is in the process of being opened . Went to test the Heater ( Raypak 399K Natural Gas Nickle ) and the panel flickers with all hashes..
My heater is hit and miss this season. Beginning of the season was fine. Last few weeks, when I call for heat, it occasionally stops basically immediately and throws on the Service and Pressure/High Limit red lights. Never tries to light.
Recently and fairly suddenly the heater has developed a high pitched whistling while it’s running. I have tried many troubleshooting options and really don’t want to remove the burner tray if I don’t have to. Here’s what...
I powered on my Raypak heater after having my pool replastered. The LCD panel immediately is showing "sensor open". Before draining the pool, I removed both drain plugs, turned off the breaker, turned off the gas, and covered the heater. We had snow here in Colorado over Labor...
We have a plumber who can come out Saturday to plumb the heat pump (RayPak 8345ti) but the electrician might not be able to make it in time. Does it matter if it"s plumbed before it has power?
OK Guys, I have an interesting situation. I currently have a 15 yr old Raypak 406a P-M406A-EN-C natural gas that needs replacement; it fires up properly but the firewall is so old it overheats. Here"s the situation - I"ve found a professional series 409a that is propane B-R409A-EP-X. Would I...
I have a 24’ round pool in Michigan. We’re looking to get a heater and are between the Raypak 156 and 206. I don’t plan on running it constantly, just a few hours on the mornings I know we will swim and water is cold. Does anyone have experience with either? Obviously the 206 is a more expensive...
This year I replaced my Raypak 206a with the same model. I’m getting a sensor failure code. Since this happened already once this year and was a loose connection on the thermistor I think I just need to buy two new thermistors. I’m having trouble identifying the part. The troubleshooting guide...
In shopping for a new heater, specifically Raypak 406a natural gas... I have stumbled across a few different variants but can"t quite tell what the differences are if any....
My 15 year old Hayward H400 is giving an IO code and it"s probably time for a new heater. Thinking about a new Raypak, open to other suggestions and/or reccomendaions. Thanks in advance for your help!
My Raypak RP2100 pool heater shuts off after short periods. It ignites just fine. The igniter is fairly new, I replaced it myself a few years back. I had the heater running once this season prior to now and it ran like magic for 24 hours. Nothing (such as valves etc) has been...
