This is the 3.5inch display for raspberry pi, support HDMI input, refresh rate of 60FPS or more. It has a physical resolution 480x320, configurable software resolution up to 1920x1080.  It can be used as raspberry pi touchscreen with touch control function (need to install touch drive). It also can be used as a computer monitor, TV box, PSP and other standard HDMI output device (without touch function). The 3.5 inch display module is compatible and can be inserted directly into all versions of raspberry pi board (raspberry pi, 1 generation B and Zero, HDMI line).

Combined with the Raspberry Pi, allows you to:Take photos by touching (up to 17 camera modes) Use software keyboard (system interaction without keyboard/mouse)

3.5inch RPi LCD (A) and 3.5inch RPi LCD (B) are hardware compatible with each other (uses different driver), and can be mutually substituted in most cases. (A) for low cost ver. while (B) for IPS ver. with better displaying.

To use the LCD with the Raspberry Pi official image, driver (SPI touch interface only) should be installed first. Please refer to the user manual. However, for the first testing, you may want to use our image directly (if provided).

Make sure the hardware connection is correct and connects fine. Make sure the image in TF card is burnt correctly. The PWR will keep on and the ACT will keep blinking when the Raspberry Pi starts up successfully, in case both of the two LEDs keep on, it is possible that the image was burnt incorrectly OR the TF card was in bad contact.

It is recommended to use a 5V/3A power adapter for the Raspberry Pi other than USB connection, otherwise the Pi may failed to start up because the PC"s USB port might have not enough power. For large size LCDs, say, 10inch diagonal or more, another stand-alone power adapter is also required to provide power to the LCD.

It is a quite handy product through to 320x480 pixels and 65K real color palette. You can use it easliy with your human-machine interface applications through 3.5" Resistive Touch Display.

Note: Display can be only used with Raspian operating system. Driver installation is required for using display. It can be used pratical and rapid way by installing the special Raspian image ,which is in DVD, to SD card. Review the manuel setup documents in the docs section for adding display to your currently using Raspbian image.
