I loved the tools it came with. The last time i had to replace the screen i went with a much cheaper seller and the tools were very difficult to use. I removed screen, bezel and digitizer cable without issue, barely even had shattered glass as an issue since the instructions said to put tape on the cracked areas of the screen to prevent shards from flying as i was removing it. Installation was a bit difficult at first because the first time i changed the screen, i didnt swap frames so i didnt know what to do and had installed frame first. That of course was due to the instructions card being cut off at the end of removal of glass. Instructions basically only go through how to find and remove everything, since i removed everything together, i didnt really look at how it was setup.

So in regards to those who say that their screen cracked when pushing the screen down in place, i dont know how. You must have been applying some SERIOUS pressure. I mean SERIOUS pressure. I say that simply because, i had laid screen down first, then realised bezel frame was supposed to be first. Had to heat the glue, lift glass, place frame, realised frame wasnt going to fit because my son who has played with my iPad since he was 1.5yo and he"s four now, has dropped this on many occasions. Needless to say, i had to use one of the tools and a hammer to pop out the dents and dings in order to place the frame down snugly. Once i did that, i placed the glass down but it slipped (I am the most clumsy and butterfingered person ever. I shouldn"t do this stuff but out of me and my hubby, i"m the tech savvy one and he would rather not have any kind of tech except for his PS4 and TV lol) and went crooked, adhereing wrong, luckily not to the LCD. Once again, I had to lift the screen... I had to lift that screen a good 4, maybe 5 times because of errors i kept running into. I promise you, I checked, rechecked but with my tendency to be entirely too unlucky, and a bit OCD, I could not get past the screen lol.

When I finally had everything perfect and the screen was in, it was snug, unfortunately after having lifted so many times, i DID wear the glue down so it wasnt as sticky as before. I don"t have any special adhesives for this of my own, so i basically flipped the iPad upside down on a towel (laying on a flat, hard surface will not help since the screen is tucked into the frame and the frame will be touching the surface more than the screen will) then i applied about 10-15lbs of pressure to it. Some people use those clip things that i saw in videos, but since i am not equipped with those, I luckily happened to be watching a video where a man said he didn"t feel like bothering buying clips for a ton of money when the purpose of replacing the screen on his own was to SAVE. So the weight alone will help with making sure the adhesive sticks, in my case it did well considering what i put it through lol.

I did not crack the screen when applying it multiple times, nor did it crack after putting 10-15 pounds of weight on top of it for a whole night. So the screen is quite sturdy and looked to be of great quality. What sucks for me, is that I ordered this just a couple weeks ago, and if you keep in mind that the screen was pulled up and placed down multiple times, I wore the adhesive out, so the screen may have been amazing at first but for us, it cracked a few days ago when my (1yo) son dropped it.... down the stairs... because he likes to toss things through our baby gate... That"s on me and it definitely sucks because I cannot afford to buy another one for a while, so it"s bumper case and screen film for a while until money is available to be spent. :(
