so i deside to power taranis off/on. but than the lcd screen stay blanc. back-light was working. also audio "welcome to opentx" was played. switching switches with attached sounds also play sound-messages for example "gear up / gear down".

have you have tried to simply shorten the duration before releasing all three switches.. I hold all three no longer that a second.. but know if I hold these in too long with my Q7XS the bootloader fails to display it"s prompt, but what it does its different that yours.. it boots up OpenTX normally .. my screen doesn"t go blank.

The first thing you want to do when setting up a drone is binding the receiver and transmitter so you can control it. In this tutorial, I will show you how to bind a Frsky receiver to the Taranis or Horus radio.

Turn on your Taranis, go to the “Model Setup” page by pressing the Menu button once. Scroll down and find “Internal Module”, select D16 mode for any X-series receivers which includes R-XSR, X4R-SB, XSR, XM+, XM and X8R. For D-series receivers such as D4R-II, select D8 mode.

Exit bind mode on the Taranis, and disconnect the power on the receiver. Power up the receiver again without pressing the bind button. You should get a solid green LED, indicating the binding was successful and the TX is communicating with RX.

The only thing is that if you run scripts from TELEMETRY screen, they will use MENU button to skip pages inside the script, instead of PAGE. Because PAGE flips pages between telemetry screens.

The Taranis QX7 I"ve switched to doesn"t work right.  I use FPV Freerider, and the TX is recognized.  I set up a brand new model, turned off Internal RX, etc.
