One of the biggest joys about driving any Mustang is the excitement on a passsenger’s face. Then to give them the read out right in front of them is priceless!!
This aftermarket LCD display, which is installed on the passenger side of the dashboard, fits all 2015-2021 left-hand drive(LHD) Ford Mustangs (steering wheel on the left side).
It allows the front passenger to participate more in trips and provides access to a number of vehicle parameters which are normally only available to the driver. There is no doubt that this touch-button display provides a luxury feature for the beast and enhances the experience of the passenger!
On left side of the screen there is a hidden touch button which lets you scroll through the screens which display the performance meters like road speed and RPM. Hold down the hidden touch button to switch the passenger display off. Quickly press the button to switch from one screen to another.
We have English Unit version and Metric Unit version LCD display. Please make sure you select the right version for your Mustang. Please contact us to confirm that this part fits your Mustang if you have any concerns.
It has taken a while for it to get here (originally bandied to be around earlier this year), but here it is then, with Sime Darby Auto Connexion (SDAC) announcing the introduction of the Ford Mustang in Malaysia.
As originally speculated, the sixth-generation S550 arrives in two Fastback variant forms. These are the Mustang 2.3L EcoBoost and Mustang GT, the latter also wearing a 5.0L in its moniker. Both are Premium specification models (Equipment Group 200A for the 2.3, EG 400A for the GT) with a Performance Pack added on, and in terms of group equipment the cars are largely similar to Australian-specification Mustangs.
The Mustangs are equipped with a SYNC 2 infotainment system, which comes with an eight-inch LCD touchscreen with rear-view camera, Bluetooth and USB connection. No navigation for the local cars though. As for the audio system, the specifications for both cars mention a nine speaker complement (essentially, a midline set-up, a notch up from the base six-speaker system, which comes with a 4.2-inch screen).
Standard safety kit includes ESC, Isofix mount points, a tyre pressure monitoring system and eight airbags (front, front-seat side, side curtain airbags as well as a driver’s knee airbag and an active glovebox knee-airbag for the front passenger).
Also on, a unique front splitter, new heavy-duty front springs, unique chassis tuning, a strut-tower brace, a larger radiator and an upsized rear sway bar. The Mustang also comes equipped with an electronic line-lock, which is activated using the Mustang Track Apps feature.
As for pricing, the final numbers are higher than the tentative pricing mentioned back in June 2015, which was RM435k-RM450k for the 2.3 litre EcoBoost and RM550k-RM565k for the 5.0 litre V8. The Mustang 2.3L EcoBoost Mustang is priced at RM488,888, while the 5.0L GT V8 Mustang is priced at RM598,888, both on-the-road without insurance.
The Mustang Bullitt edition has been developed to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the film, which stars Steve McQueen and features one of the all-time best car chases.
For any car nut, San Francisco’s hilly streets became synonymous with grimy cool. The third-generation Mustang Bullitt follows in the footsteps of previous special edition Bullitt models in 2001 and 2008.
The 5.0-litre V8 gets Ford’s Open Air Induction System and intake manifold, 87mm throttle bodies and powertrain control module calibration from the Shelby Mustang GT350. Ford quotes figures of 341kW and 529Nm.
The new Ford Mustang Bullitt will also feature as standard Ford’s rev-matching system that delivers smoother downshifts accompanied by a “blip” of the engine. Of course, McQueen would want you to do it yourself…
The interior has Ford’s 12-inch all-digital LCD instrument cluster and Recaros. Stitching will reflect the exterior colour choice, and each Mustang Bullitt will feature an individually numbered plaque in place of the traditional Mustang emblem on the passenger-side dashboard.
As with the Detroit reveal in January, Ford enlisted the support of third-generation members of the McQueen family, Chase and Madison, to unveil the new Mustang Bullitt in Europe.
