I purchased this monitor because I was using my HD television for a monitor and sometimes I like to watch television while I am working at my desk. I have three Acer computers so buying an Acer monitor was a no brainer to me as I feel that Acer products are excellent and my computer are connected to monitors using HDMI which provides a really clear picture. This monitor is the perfect size for my desk and the HD screen allows me to get an excellent view whether I am viewing a photo or a HD video. Refurbished doesn"t mean that the monitor has been used, it indicates that the monitor was updated with the newest software. This monitor is excellent and if you demand or love HD, I highly recommend this monitor.
