PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONThe 19" widescreen FlatLCDpanel is a TFT active type digital to digital which connects to the onboard conversion board. The LCD monitor comes with a standard 15-pin VGA and DVI-D connector on the back of therackmountmonitor for your pc system connection. Option for HDMI / BNC / Audio / 3G-SDI input. The rackmount LCD monitor offers a 19-inch diagonal LCD with 300nit brightness. The ultra excellent display quality is supported by a maximum contrast ratio of 1000:1 and a resolution of up to 1440 x 900 pixels for the monitor. It provides a 170° x 160° viewing angle for an unparalleled viewing ability. The aspect ratio is a widescreen 16:10 with a display area of 408.24H x 255.15V mm. It will display 16.7M colors (True color). The OSD function lets you adjust the LCD monitor for contrast, balance, horizontal position, vertical position, phase, and brightness. All the OSD buttons are located on the front of the LCD monitor for easy access. Option for 10" and 15" VGA cable is available. Optional Lexan screen protection is available. The construction of the rugged monitor is of heavy-duty steel. It features all-steel construction with a rack-mountable aluminum bezel. The monitor comes with a metal ruggedized housing to fit into the standard 19" rack cabinet. The industrial monitor is designed to meet military shock, vibration, and environmental standards. It comes standard with one 6" VGA cable for the LCD monitor. A Resistive touch screen, which is the most widely used sensing method in the touch screen panel market, is composed of a glass panel and a film screen each covered with a thin metallic layer separated by a narrow gap. When a user touches the screen, the two metallic layers come into contact, resulting in electrical flow. The point of contact is detected by this change in voltage. The advantages of Resistive touch screens are that it is highly resistant to surface contaminants and liquids and can be activated with virtually any objects ( finger, stylus, gloved hand, pen, etc.). Next is the Capacitive touch screen, which is the second most popular type of touch screen on the market and is often used in relatively large display panels. A Capacitive touch screen monitor consists of a transparent electrode layer placed on top of a glass panel with a protective cover. When an exposed finger touches the monitor, it reacts to the static electrical capacity of the human body; some of the electrical charges transfer from the screen to the user. Lastly is the Projected Capacitive touch screen, which is composed of a sheet of glass with embedded transparent electrode films and an IC chip that creates a three-dimensional electrostatic field. Projected Capacitive touch screens can be activated with bare fingers, surgical gloves, or thin cotton gloves. The advantages of Projected Capacitive touch screens include multi-touch capabilitiesies and excellent image clarity.
