I was looking for a small 10" monitor to run my security camera footage through and this fits the bill for that. It"s not ultra HD, but I don"t need that. I just need to be able to see enough to know when there"s a security issue that I need to playback or zoom in for.
The stand is quite difficult to adjust. The attachment mechanism is just a small square washer on a plastic bolt that is supposed to slide into a slit. There are no instructions at all for how to set this part up, but if you play around long enough and use the pictures on Amazon to help, then you can figure it out. However, even after the stand has been attached, it is so short that it does not lift the monitor above the HDMI cord coming out of the bottom. To have the cord itself not tip over the monitor, you have to push the stand way down low, to where it"s almost falling out of the slit. This also limits the range of motion to adjust it. I finally after a long session of cussing and frustration got it adjusted well enough so that the monitor sits up flat on a shelf without being tipped over by its own cords, but I fear it is not so sturdy, as the stand is at the very bottom edge of hanging on to get enough height to tuck the cords underneath. I may need to look for a different stand for it, again adding to the expense. At the moment, it is sitting up well, though, but just barely.
There are screw holes for putting the thing into the wall itself, but they are very small and I"m not sure screws that small will hold it well. It also seems like it will be quite challenging to then attach the plate back to the monitor after it has been screwed into the wall. For now I have it standing on the shelf like I wanted. I suspect that if I do want one day to hang it on the wall that I"ll need to buy a different holder for it, adding even more to the overall expense for the item.
For now, it"s adjusted and sitting on a shelf with the cords behind it and it"s working great for what I wanted in terms of an affordable monitor for my security camera system. I suppose, since it was $40 less than comparable brands that probably had better stands, that I"ve still come out ahead, but I wish there"d been a bit more attention paid to the design of the stand and the length of the power cord so that this worry would be gone, not to mention the frustration.

While there are still some things that are best done on a desktop computer, that does not change the fact that many users find themselves longing for the same abilities on their PCs afforded by many of their mobile devices. This is what helped breed the touchscreen monitor market, which has many viable options for people seeking the best of both worlds. With stronger computing power and a finer ability to control actions occurring in the screen, users can get more work done in new and exciting ways.
Traditionally, computer mice are what have allowed us to "touch" in a virtual context, but touchscreen monitors are changing all that. It might be said that the reason that mice were used in the first place was because the technology had not evolved to a responsive enough level to enable that natural solution. Now that people have the touchscreen technology, they want it everywhere.
If one thing is for certain, it is that the burgeoning adoption of touchscreen technology is no fad. Proliferation has already come too far to turn back now, and computer manufacturers are taking notice. Everyone is trying to get a piece of the action, including ELO Touch Solutions, Laiputuo Electronics, Planar, HP, 3M, Touch Systems, ViewSonic, Dell and ACER as well. Getting into the touchscreen monitor game is a no-brainer for the companies involved in this generation of computing. With so many different applications made for touchscreen monitors, options exist for all sorts of interested parties.
