I knew I didn"t want to spend a fortune on a monitor so I did a search and read the reviews and decided on buying this monitor for use on my Shoulder Rig. For some reason I thought there was a HDMI cable included but it wasn"t. No biggie, I went out picked up one. For the most part its a really cool monitor. I need to get it calibrated because my screen is showing everything in blue for some reason! Another test, I pointed my camera at my bedroom walls which are blue but but on the monitor it was showing them as white! I was also told to hold down the menu button for 2-3 seconds and that will put the screen in 16:9 mode and your image would fill up the screen. I think that might work just for the Canon 5D Mark II. When I hold down the menu button for 2-3 seconds, it kicks me out of Live View mode on my Nikon! I noticed that pressing and holding one of the ">" buttons would give me safety zone area (white frame) around the screen to help me frame my shots better. I just need to figure out why this monitor is not showing me a in color image. Its just showing me a blue image. When I looked at the image on the camera, its fine. The white balance on the camera was fine. I did adjust the balance on the monitor but it never showed in color as of yet. If you have similar issues and have figured out how to get a good in color image please let me know. In the meantime I will do some other tests and try to get it calibrated. Another issue I had was it was losing the HDMI signal for some reason. I don"t know if it takes a couple seconds to get from camera to monitor or what. I had to keep rebooting my camera and then switching to Live View then power on the monitor for me to see a picture again. I had a shoot the very next day after I got it from Amazon.com and I didn"t have a great deal of time to really play around with. Hopefully I just over looked some settings. For the money this seems to be a pretty good monitor! Once I get it working how I expect it to be, I will write another review! I just went to Liliput"s website and sent them a direct email to hopefully get some answers and the email came back to me saying the domain name was not found...go figure!

The Feelworld Lut7 monitor is a great find for this price. The 2200nit Touch Screen is a MUST HAVE. I have been able to use it on bright, sunny, beach days without the need for an additional sun-hood because of how bright it gets. That brightness will also save you on those cloudy, overcast days. On-camera monitors tend to throw back a harsh, almost mirror-like, reflection where the Feelworld Lut7 is clean and easy to see (see video for an example and an unboxing). The 7inch screen is nice because it allows you to pull up other items like RGB Parade, Vectorscopes, Grids, Audio Levels, etc. and still have plenty of room to monitor your video (again see video example).
