This monitor is mounted on a rotatable base, with adjustable brightness, contrast, and color. Audio input and output are not supported. This product is used in conjunction with a camera to create a remote monitoring system. The most common application is as car rear-view camera monitor as it has an input to switch from AV1 to AV2.

Video cable provided has a male RCA video connector for AV1 that you can connect to your main video. AV2 is a female RCA video connector that you can hook up to a secondary video source. When the input signal, 12V on the blue wire is turned on, AV2 will be displayed on the monitor.

At AndyMark, we"ve used this for various projects remotely monitoring video feed from a robot. The backlit screen provides great visibility for the driver. With two inputs, one RCA male and one female, this monitor is incredibly compatible with various surveillance cameras.
