In 35 years working with computers, I have never encountered such stinking customer service as Naxa"s. It takes a special kind of genius to not only fail to respond to a customer"s simple query but to take that failure to baroque, kafkaesque heights. Here is how Naxa"s demonic idiocy worked on me: My simple query about some fine tuning of my dvd player required me to visit Naxa"s "contact us" site where I was required to create (rather, try to create) a password to submit with my query along with having to prove via a pictorial ID that I was for real. Nothing happened with my first two or three attempts to communicate, nor was my chosen password treated as an acceptable way to get through to Naxa; instead I received form emails saying that my password was under consideration, but nothing more was heard from Naxa. So I started writing complaining emails which elicited responses that the Naxa url site had an answer to my query. But clicking on the offered link simply required me to initiate the whole password creation process all over again, and four or five followup emails from me resulted in the same circular, complicated start-all-over-again nothingness from Naxa. Naxa"s fiendish way of spitting at customers is in a class by itself.
