For the price this is a very decent monitor. I got it to replace an ancient thing that my mom uses that is half the size and resolution. Sow why not 5 stars? I took off 2 for the 4 missing screws in the back. I’m not sure how that back box compartment was held in place but it was very wobbly missing all 4 screws meant to secure it. I found a few motherboard screws that fit.

A good deal at the price, great picture, sound is decent. Compatibility and interface is easy too. Be close to the wifi though, or you will need to restart often. But that is literally the only flaw I can point out.

This monitor is awesome. It’s a little smaller than I anticipated, but it’s the perfect size for what I needed. It came well packaged and in mint condition. It was definitely worth the money for a brand new monitor.

i only needed a minimal monitor for a specific purpose. this monitor has more than fit the need.the image is not fuzzy but not sharp, great for text and for streaming video. the viewing angle for video is mostly limited to directly in front of it. for text the viewing angle is much wider.easy to setup and in a month of constant on it has not developed any viewing image irregularities.it is great as a second monitor but use the web to find out how you can best integrate it with your computer os for how you plan to use it. for example, i am using it as a second monitor directly above my laptop. the screen size is well suited to my laptop screen size, a larger monitor would have been overwhelming. adjust display resolution for maximum visual compatibility with your main screen.update 4/13/19for my system the VGA connector does not align with the screw holes for the side clamping screw-in posts. since the connector is not securely clamped to the VGA port, you can bump/loosen the connector and display odd screen colors. you solve this by firmly pushing in the VGA connector into the VGA port of your computer.

Manual states that you can adjust angle of viewing, which you can, of about 1/10 of an inch. The only way of improving view is slipping a pad of paper under bottom of base. If you are using a Mac, you are unable to adjust colors, brightness, etc. as those adjustments require Windows OS. Ultra cheap construction. Customer service is about as interested in talking to customers as they would be talking to a wall. Would never recommend this product and probably will return it.

I’ve bought 2 of these to expand my workstation the fact that this is my second one doesn’t to the quality of the product. I only have two problems with this unit, I didn’t but a bigger screen (just a preference) and you have to hold the power button too long to shut it down. Otherwise this is a great monitor.

First of all, this is a VGA only monitor. If you are looking for any other connection type, don’t buy this one. I ended up purchasing an adapter from HDMI to VGA to get this monitor to work. My fault, didn’t see the specification that it was VGA only. I also couldn’t get this monitor to work with two of my notebooks. It works with a Dell 7400 but no matter what resolution setting I selected for my HPs the message “No input support” continues to display.Second, the monitor cannot be adjusted via tilt screen or height adjustment. Basically, if you want to adjust the monitor’s height, get a cardboard box and set it on top. You can’t tilt the monitor, so don’t even try.Third, the monitor’s clarity is pretty poor. Fonts are not crisp and everything has a slight fuzziness to it. It’s not impressive by any means.Considering returning this monitor and buying something more up-to-date.

It has surprisingly good colors for what it is and managed to mate up pretty well with her AOC TN primary monitor after calibration.The stand is a little wobbly and the one-button configuration system isn’t entirely intuitive or featureful, but for $70, that’s not much to complain about. I ended up using some wall-safe “Velcro” to secure one edge of the screen to my wife’s desk which stopped the minor wobbling.This would have been a four star review if the price was $10 higher.

Had to buy a VGA to HDMI converter just to be able to plug this monitor into my laptop. Then I didn’t realize you had to insert a CD to install the software in order for the computer to detect the monitor. My laptop does not have a CD drive. There is no way to install the driver from their website for this particular version. I called tech support and they said these monitors do not work with adapters, you have to use the VGA cord and my laptop does not have this type of port. This monitor is completely useless for laptops. Beyond frustrated.

decent cheap monitor to do some office work on missing all buttons to change brightess etc and to power it off you need to hold on the power button you get what you pay for it’s fine for some work with file manager typing etc but not much else gaming or watching videos is not great as it’s a pior resolution plus no speakers I use it in a very old pc so it does the job for me

I went from getting a huge TV to the smaller one and it was definitely worth it it fits perfectly on my desk and it’s just the right size I don’t need some 27 inch monitor for my computer and this was definitely worth it if you’re looking for something that fits perfectly on your desk I would definitely get this it is very much worth it

But, it has a defective display in that there is a dead pixel in the middle of the screen that shows up white all the time. It is quite visible. I am debating whether to return the display but will wait a few days to see if any other defect shows up. Poor quality control.

Gaming, video rendering, video watching.Make sure you don’t forget to hook up your video card with all necessary plugs, and not make the mistake I did.I thought the monitor was bad, but I had been missing my video card hookups.

I ordered 2. I was broken when I received it. Very cheap but still using the other one. It is okay. You are getting what you pay for…a cheap product for a cheap price. If you get one that isn’t broken, it’s good for travel if you like to use a 2nd monitor on your laptop.

Nice resolution, VESA compatible. I returned it because it turned out to be too small for my intended use, but other than the size there was nothing wrong with it.

Works excellent for a output of security recorder. Poor viewing angle, but not for high end computers, it’s for slow or no moving pictures most of the time. Excellent straight on view. Bright, one-button operation for power and menus.

My old samesung died so I was looking for a small monitor just for web browsing and media viewing. This monitor works just fine for the purpose. It’s VERY light… so light it may feel flimsy to some people, but I like it light weight. Making it easy to hang or mount on the wall. I chose this monitor over others mainly for its low energy consumption and mount ability. The initial color was too warm. (too much red/yellow), but after making adjustment/ calibrating the monitor using its i-menu application, the color seems fine. (the driver cd shows how to download i-menu) There is only one power button and no other buttons on the monitor. i-menu is easy to use for quick color/ brightness adjustments

The only thing that bugs me about it is the delay of going into the monitors categories. ex; brightness/contrast,etc. If it were to be quicker in that aspect I’d definitely consider giving it a 5/5.It is super light weight. My girlfriend and I find that very pleasing since we were in a small bedroom apt and always like swapping things around regardless so that helps a lot.

The screen refresh rate defaults to 59 Hz with the HDMI adapter. This causes a box to float around the screen saying “Input not supported.” Going into the graphics settings of my computer and changing the screen refresh rate to 60 Hz solved the problem. The screen looked a little washed out, but adjusting the brightness and contrast in the graphics settings also helped. The monitor works fine and is great as a second monitor for working from home. Text is crisp at the recommended resolution. I did not need the CD that came with it. The only issue was the screen refresh rate which took a couple minutes to figure out. Now, my only question is, how long will this monitor last?

Nice monitor. I recommend loading the driver as this monitor will work right out of the box, but there are no adjustments on the monitor itself so the computer has to set them and if the computer is looking for your old monitor you cannot adjust this one properly. At least with Windows 7 anyway. Once the driver is in place I have a good clear picture.

I bought this monitor to use as a second with my laptop for work. (Just be aware you may need to purchase a VGA Adapter separately. They are fairly inexpensive.) A second monitor definitely reduces the amount of time I have to spend on the work, so for me it was a worthwhile investment. Product arrived quickly and was just as described. I am very pleased with it.

I am very unhappy with the fact that no matter what I did this monitor would not work with my laptop and it was for work purposes. I am going to return it , I am very disappointed.
