Googling for Viewsonic RMA brought me to the following page (which was not linked from Viewsonic"s main website?!) where you can enter their RMA # and see status. My status shows as " In Repair". I find it disturbing that Viewsonic"s site doesn"t link this, that the CSR I spoke with at Viewsonic didn"t mention it, that even using the url /vsapps.viewsonic.com/ won"t get you jack unless you have this specific full URL to use to get there. Without google I"d have never found it.

Googling also brought up pages like the following which caused some concern, as well as some Newegg reviews on various Viewsonic LCD where others also had lengthly RMA waiting.

Today I am going to briefly review a new Viewsonic monitor, the VA2226w, which falls into this same category: a good, low cost monitor that offers resolution and quality levels above what most first time LCD users will expect. Specifications (from Viewsonic.com)

The 22″ Viewsonic VA2226w display comes includes a simple black plastic stand that seems rather light and flimsy but held the monitor just fine through my testing and lots of movement and adjustment. There is a standard black power cable as well as some Viewsonic driver software and documentation.

You’ll notice that Viewsonic only includes a standard analog VGA cable from connection from the monitor to the PC or other source. While some users won’t be able to tell the difference between the analog VGA and digital DVI inputs, some will and that might be a strike one on Viewsonic.

viewsonic people repaired my 19″ LCD Monitor as it has a problem with its LCD screen( screen goes off with in a sec once switch on) but with a month time yhe same problem started but this time the time taken by the monitor once switched on is more than a sec. Plz i request view sonic people to replace the entire piece with a brand new one as the time is getting passed off just for repairing and checking and the warranty period will be over.

we had made repeated complaints at service@in.viewsonic.com since 12 oct 2010. But not getting any response. Please check and do needful to rectify /replace the TFT.

Hi, i got viewsonic 19: monitor and im having this resolution problem from a week, im not able to set 1440×900 32bit resolution on my monitor, even after i add the resolution through my nvidia graphic card control panel, i get a 1440 resolution but it goes out of the screen, my screen is oversized and it scrolls when i move my mouse curser around. pls provide me with some solution.
