The Pyle 9.2"" Roof Mount Wide Screen TFT LCD Color Monitor - 9.2"" Roof Monitor TFT LCD Monitor - Active matrix TFT LCD - Video System NTSC/ PAL - Display Aspect Ratio: 16:9 - Resolution: 800 x 600 - Remote Control - Swivel Bracket: 45degrees Left/ Right Rotation - High Frequency IR Transmitter/ Headphone - Power Supply: DC12V - Dimensions: 10.4"" x 9.6"" x 1.5"" inches.

I bought this as a custom drop down screen for my custom built `93 Dodge Ram Dually Crew Cab. Like one of the other reviews said, this TFT LCD has a stellar viewing angle. I can be within one foot of the screen but all the way to the DR or PS side of the truck in the back seat with the screen facing straight back and there are no problems viewing. The swivel feature is nice if only one person wants to watch. The manual control buttons work well (they are on the screen frame). The LED lights for overhead when the door open work good, there are two LEDs per side under each lens and they are the pure LED white color. I have not had a chance to try the infrared with our IR headphones but I can see a red glow from behind the IR panel on the unit.
The screen remote does not seem to communicate well with the screen, so you basically have to put it close and aim right at the sensor. You would only need the remote to change major color/tint/contrast/balance settings in most cases, however.
There is a very tiny LED light button next to the silver screen release button that is intended for activating the LEDs (for example, when all doors are closed to use as map lights for rear seat passengers). On my older truck, the overhead lights are activated when the switch in the door sill grounds out with door open. The LED yellow/red setup doesn"t work with the switch on the unit when wired to my truck. To get them to come on with the doors I just connected red and yellow to 12V (+) and then black to the switched door ground (-). They turn on and off with the doors but do not activate with the little switch. I bet newer cars provide power instead of ground for the overhead lights, so this will probably work perfect in newer cars (you could tie the yellow or red perhaps to the same main power wire for the LCD, then the other wire to the overhead lights).
Because of the quality of this unit I am going to buy a Pyle in-dash DVD receiver to go with this unit, which Amazon has also. I would recommend this LCD TFT screen to my friends and colleagues.
