Looking like the lcd is the common issue for all of us with these units. I am sorely disappointed that this hardware was not waterproofed more and keurigs failure to stand behind it is despicable. This device however convenient is POORLY MADE. DO NOT BUY IT. I was able to open the unit up. No help from Keurig. I pulled the motherboard and lcd screen out. The motherboard is fine. I was able to get it to run preheating process after touching the back of the lcd screen that is unresponsive to touch. I WIPED the machine down and I get this. TERRIBLE. I is a water device, why would you not put parts that are protected from liquid and steam as I have seen with other complaints. They offered me 35 percent off of a new device instead of taking this piece of junk back and fixing their flawed design. BUT DRONES WILL KEEP ON BUYING won"t we, instead of making them stand behind their product. What sad is people posting here that they got a new one because it was under warranty. FIND A NEW THREAD. Before I shell out another 180 bucks for something that worked for years, and quit working from wiping it down?! THEY KNOW. This should be a recall PERIOD. I will not be buying another product from this company until they stand up and do the right thing FOR ALL OF US! SMH. Shame on keurig. If i can find a replacement LCD it will stay, otherwise I will put this whole thing in the trash and there it will STAY!

LCD damaged from moisture and a TERRIBLE DESIGN by keurig. Its a joke. I cracked mine open since it is no longer under warranty. The motherboard is fine as I am sure yours is. I will keep you posted on fix.

Bypass general customer care and speak to corporate and MAKE THEM SEND YOU A NEW DEVICE OUTSIDE OF WARRANTY. I did. These folks are aware and their engineers are taking pride in fixing the issue. For the folks that posted in here they got a new one inside of warranty WASTED TIME typing to hear yourself talk. Seriously?! Really. I owned this pampered device for 4 years and it worked FLAWLESSLY. I was happy with it and as a matter of fact said it was one of the best appliances I have owned because it was sturdy and it lasts. New one on the way! Because I told them what I found instead of just accepting a discount for a new one and believing what I was told. FIND OUT! Do not accept anything sub-par when you spend the coin on these devices you do.

First, start with the obvious: is your brewer connected to power? Make sure the cord is plugged into the wall, and that the outlet is not broken and is receiving power. You may wish to try resetting your circuit breaker, or even plugging in a phone charger to test the outlet and make sure the problem isn’t caused by the outlet itself. Finally, verify that the power switch/button on the brewer is turned to the ON position.

Once you’ve verified that your K150 or B150 is plugged into a working outlet and the power button is switched to the ON position, then I recommend trying the following: unplug your Keurig from the outlet and remove the reservoir. Let it sit unplugged for an hour. Oddly enough I’ve found that sometimes the issue can be fixed with the reservoir removed. This is sometimes the case particularly when you have a Direct Water Line Plumb Kit installed on your K150, B150, K150P, or B150P brewer.

If that still doesn’t work, you may just be out of luck. Hopefully though your brewer is still under warranty and you can get the issue resolved by getting in touch with the Keurig, the manufacturer.

If your Keurig is powering on or turning off randomly, there are a couple things that I can think of that might cause this. First, go ahead and make sure that you don’t have the brewer programmed to turn on or off automatically. Using your brewer’s menu screen, press the button labeled “MENU” located below where it says “MENU.” Now take a look through the various programming options to make sure you don’t have the Automatic Off/On functionality enabled. Under where it says “Auto Off” timer you should see “OFF.” If you don’t see this option at all, the next step would be to try and reset your brewer.

Firstly, you’ll want to make sure that your water reservoir tank (or Plumb Kit reservoir) is fully connected to the base of your Keurig. If it is not correctly seated or if it is misaligned it will not intake enough water into the brewer. You’ll also want to verify that your water tank is full with water, otherwise it won’t brew. Second, it’s possible that your water filter (if you have one) is in need of replacement. Lastly, it’s possible that your exit needle or entrance needle may be clogged with debris. You can clean out a clogged exit needle by inserting a paperclip inside the needle hole and clear out any coffee grounds or gunk blocking the needle. I also recommend using one of these descaling pods regularly to prevent buildup and remove the sticky residue that resides inside the K-Cup chamber puncture needle over time.

If your Keurig machine is being noisy, either by making clicking noises, popping sounds, or just generally being loud and obnoxious, this could mean a few different things. The two questions you need to be concerned with are: 1) is your Keurig able to be powered on, and 2) whether or not your machine is still brewing a normal amount of coffee. If your brewer is still powering on and brewing an appropriate amount of coffee, then it’s possible the noise is just a natural, albeit slightly annoying, part of the machine’s functions. It’s perfectly natural to expect some degree of noise with many of these brewers. However, if your brewer is not powering on, or if it’s brewing short cups or nothing at all, then it’s very clear there is a mechanical issue at bay.

If your Keurig is powering on okay, but it’s making strange noises and not brewing the correct amount of liquid, it’s very likely that your brewing needle is clogged and in dire need of being cleaned and/or descaled. In this case, I recommend you follow the steps I wrote down in my article on descaling and cleaning your Keurig brewer. As always, I highly recommend using a descaling solution designed for commercial brewers, rather than the ones designed for just home use.

If your Keurig is making weird clicking or clacking sounds and it is NOT powering on, then I hate to say it but it’s not looking good. In my experience I find about half of the time this may indicate something irreparably wrong with the brewer’s internals. In this case, I recommend you first follow the instructions provided above in the sections titled “My Keurig K150 / B150 brewer won’t turn on. What should I do?” and “My Keurig K150/B150 is not brewing. How do I fix this?” If these do not fix the issue, then I would suggest you contact the manufacturer, as your brewer might still be under warranty.

If your Keurig brewer isn’t brewing full cups of coffee, there are a few reasons to explore. First, does your Keurig brew a regular stream of water when there is no pod in place? If your machine is only brewing partial cups or experiencing slow or weak streams when a K-cup coffee pods is in the brew chamber, it most likely means that your puncture needle is clogged. Over time, beverage residues build up in the needle and clog it. Try taking a paperclip and inserting it into the puncture needle to clear out any debris. If, on the other hand your brewer is still not brewing completely even without a pod in the holder, you should descale your brewer with a descaling solution for commercial brewers for good measure as well as cleaning the puncture needle.

You’ll also need to check the needle and brewing area for dirt, leftover coffee grounds, coffee oils, or other debris that has built up. If you notice any of those issues, skip step 4.

The method of flipping your Keurig upside down and giving it a gentle spank on the bottom might work, but it can be dangerous. After all, not everyone has the strength to do that.

If you notice any damage, such as the magnet in the water reservoir not moving because it’s rusted or corroded, then you may need to replace it or the whole reservoir.

When was the last time you gave your Keurig a deep clean? Keurig coffee makers are susceptible to hard water scaling and coffee grounds in places where they shouldn’t be.

To clean your Keurig, you will need to drain it, then take it apart, piece by piece, and clean each separately. You shouldn’t need any tools for this. The needle and brewing area will also need to be cleaned.

To descale your Keurig without breaking your warranty, you should follow the directions for your model and use the approved Keurig descaling solution.

Unfortunately, descaling with vinegar is not an approved method. However, I and many others have done it without issue, and it seems to work pretty well.

Open the snaps that are holding the LCD screen with the brewer with a metal spudger. ( be careful as these snaps are fragile and might be prone to leakage)

Detach the white modular. This is used to connect the LCD screen to the circuit board’s wires. By gently squeezing the sides and pulling them around, you can remove it.

Plug the white modular back properly and see if the screen has started working or not. If yes, That’s Great! If not, then might be the screen is damaged and you have to replace it.

Gotta be honest, I don’t always use purified water on mine because sometimes I’m just not awake enough, so that might be why mine clogged to begin with. Then again, if something’s going to be higher maintenance than I am in the morning before I’ve had my coffee, it won’t last long. LOL

You didn’t say what model yours is, but with my Keurig removing the K-Cup holder involves a bit of jiggling and then the thing pops out. The holder is actually a plastic insert — mine has a white arrow painted on it — so you just grab by the raised edge, twist and lift. (Really technical instructions there, right?)

We just run it without a k-cup in it. It dispenses hot water and we just dip the tea bag right in the hot water. Sure it’s not much different but it’s easier and faster than nuking the water.

I just had a similar problem today. It had plugged up during the regular cleaning and no water would come out. I did all the standard cleanings but still no water came out. I took the machine covers off and removed the lines from the check valve. I first made sure water was coming from the tanks. Sure enough, water everywhere. I then used a turkey baster (a glass one) filled it with water and attached it to the line leading to the pump. I pushed the water in and used the bulb to pull water in and out. I pulled out an amazing amount of scale out of the machine, close to a quarter cup. One note here, I had the vinegar/water solution in the machine and it had soaked for about 5 hours before I started this. I continued this with fresh water each time until there was no more scale in the water. Ran it and it works like new. There was so much scale built up I think it had just completely plugged the machine up with the heavy white scale. I ran 3 reservoirs through the machine and it’s working great again.

No one is suggesting to remove the covers! The parts you see in the photo are all removable. The water tank is the one you remove to fill before making coffee. The lid is the one on the water tank. The base in most Keurigs does come off should be removed and cleaned regularly, anyway, since it catches drips. Check your owner’s manual and you’ll see the parts of your machine that can and should be removed for cleaning.

I inspected the reusable cup and saw the fill line. I don’t buy loose tea. Too expensive right now. I would ♡ to and I know it would be best and open up a whole new world for me but right now I got my ‘stash’ of Twinnings and Bigelow. I do have loose leaf of Earl of Gray from Twinngs(I just bought it first the tin. I ♡♡♡ tins!) . I willl also try opening the tea bags. I agree, loose tea is a bit expensive. That link I’d given you is actually one of the better deals I’ve found. But, yes, it does come out rather weak in the Keurig. Sometimes at night, or when I’m brewing a cuppa for my son, that’s what I want. Otherwise, I’d rather go with an infuser and use my electric kettle.
