The long and short of it, however, is that we"re recommending aiming for a 1440p panel with at least a 144Hz refresh rate as the best gaming monitor(opens in new tab) target. Though, if you"re not sure your GPU can cope at that res there are still some excellent 1080p screens around with high refresh rates and low prices. We"ll carry on curating thebest Cyber Monday PC gaming deals(opens in new tab)all the way through.
Below is a constantly curated list of the best gaming monitor deals we"ve spotted over Black Friday as we head on towards Cyber Monday and beyond. And when we"re not at it, our sleepless deal bots are always scouting for us.
Acer PG241Y | 24-inch | 1080p | VA | 165Hz |$179.99$119.99 at Amazon (save $60)(opens in new tab)Normally retailing for around $150, this is the cheapest we"ve seen the Acer, and one of the cheapest high refresh rate gaming monitors you"ll find this Cyber Monday. As an entry-level 1080p screen this is an excellent price.
I"m a big fan of Gigabyte"s pared back approach to gaming monitors. Simple, speedy, and nice quality panels. I use two similar Gigabyte models myself at home.
Acer Nitro XZ342CK | 34-inch | 3440 x 1440 | VA | 144Hz |$499.99$349.99 at Amazon (save $100)(opens in new tab)4K gaming monitors aren"t necessarily super expensive anymore, but the GPUs that will really allow you to game in 4K at acceptable frame rates still are. For our money, if you want something more expansive than a 1440p panel you need an ultrawide. This VA panel from Acer has the ultrawide 21:9 aspect ratio and a high refresh rate to boot. It"s also never been cheaper than today. Note that to get the reduced price you"ll need to use the "New from" link in the right-hand column, near the bottom of the first page.
LG B2 OLED (OLED55B2PUA) | 55-inch | 4K | OLED | 120Hz |$1,599.99$996.99 at Walmart (save $603)(opens in new tab)A fantastic OLED offering for gamers, with deep blacks, HDMI 2.1, and all the VRR options you could handle. This one offers low input lag and is topped off with a nifty 120Hz refresh rate. Sure, there are higher refresh rate monitors but, a 55-inch gaming OLED TV sounds pretty great as a giant second monitor for that price.
Acer Predator X35 | 35-inch | 3440 x 1440p | IPS | 180Hz | £2,083.99 £665.49 at Box (save £1,448)(opens in new tab)Don"t pay too much mind to the inflated "was" price (it"s down from more like £1,351.99), but do note this is one of our favourite gaming monitors ever. Not only do you get an extra-wide curved screen, but one that comes with a 180Hz refresh rate and G-Sync Ultra for smooth frames, too. And that"s topped with a 2ms response time, and it even sports built-in speakers.
There"s something to be said about being able to sit on your couch with a wireless controller and playing your favorite computer games on a massive TV. Our deals bots are working overtime to find the best TV deals on the internet. When is Cyber Monday 2022?Cyber Monday is set for November 28, 2022, trawling Black Friday like a lovesick puppy. Although we"re seeing some decent monitor savings right now, good things come to those who wait. In recent years, we"ve seen monitor deals begin to drop in late October, with more offers becoming available in mid-November. However, the best deals are usually reserved for the weekend after Thanksgiving, and we saw some of the biggest discounts last year on Cyber Monday itself.
Data from Adobe(opens in new tab) confirms this. Its research shows that computers and electronics drop in price throughout November and reach their lowest price in the last week of the month. They then rise again in December. Last year, Adobe found that computers were 14.16% cheaper on Cyber Monday, while electronics prices in general were reduced by 11.76%, so computer products are an even better deal than average.
That said, it"s important to remember that some monitors will not be on sale at all in November. Similarly, good deals may have become available on a monitor you like before Cyber Monday, but there"s no guarantee that that deal will get better on Cyber Monday. So, if you see a monitor you love at a price you like, it may be better to commit to buying than try to wait for something better than might never materialize.
Even before the Covid-19 pandemic, both online and physical stores have started to hold online-only deals over the course of Black Friday, but that trend has accelerated in the past few years. Now, the lines between Black Friday and Cyber Monday are fully blurred. This means that a greater number of Cyber Monday monitor deals are available before the weekend leading up to Cyber Monday itself, so if you"ve missed out on Black Friday sales, then you can still get some great deals all around.Where will the best Cyber Monday monitor deals be?The best Cyber Monday deals aren"t officially live yet, but figuring out when a late Black Friday deal ends and when an early Cyber Monday deal begins is a lost art. Essentially, the entire four day stretch between Black Friday and Cyber Monday is a fantastic time to save money on big ticket purchases, so if you see something you want at a great price, ignore the date on the calendar and buy a great deal before it"s too late.
All that said, the top retailers for Cyber Monday are pretty consistent year over year:Amazon: gaming monitor(opens in new tab), 4K monitor(opens in new tab)
Best Buy: great HD monitor deals(opens in new tab)Which monitors will be discounted for Cyber Monday? It"s not possible to say exactly which monitors will be reduced to what level in the Cyber Monday sales. However, we imagine that most brands and retailers will offer an attractive discount on at least some of their lineup.
If you"re stuck then you can always check out our list of the best PC gaming monitors or the best business monitors. These will show you the products we feel are the cream of the crop right now. What Cyber Monday monitor deals do we expect in 2022?Based on previous years, it seems likely that many monitors will be reduced by 15-20% on Cyber Monday.
Not only should we see tons of gaming-oriented monitors on sale, but we should also see ones geared towards regular productivity and professional grade options that specialise in photography and video editing.
There"ll be a type of monitor for every need, so the important thing is to regularly check for the best Cyber Monday monitor deals - which we"ll have here.
Let"s talk about resolutionfirst. The most common are HD (sometimes called 1080p, FHD or Full HD) and 4K (also called 2160p, UHD or Ultra HD), though 1440p (or 2K) displays are also becoming more common; especially in regards to PC gaming monitors.
The higher the refresh rate the better, but you"ll also often find that monitors with a high refresh rate will have a lower resolution. You can find 4K monitors with a high refresh rate, but these are especially expensive - all the better for saving your cash until they appear in the sales!
This is one of the best 4K gaming monitors on the market right now. It sports an ultra-wide 21:9 aspect ratio, near 4K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and a pretty solid port selection. It also helps that it looks absolutely stunning with the use of RGB lighting on the back of the monitor. This monitor may also see price reductions of 15% to 20% off this Cyber Monday.
Not all 4K monitors need to break the bank, and the Gigabyte M32UC is proof of that. A crystal clear picture, great features, 4K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and large screen all comes together in a package that"s currently less than $600. This monitor is already on the cheaper side, which means we"ll likely see it discounted by about 10%, but don"t count out some major deals on this one.Round up of today"s best deals
Cyber Monday is here, which means it’s your last chance to swoop in and take advantage of any monitor deals. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, don’t fret. The team at PCWorld curated a list of the best monitor deals available right now. Whether you’re on the hunt for a lightning fast gaming monitor or a luxurious 4K workstation, we’ve got a wide variety on tap today. If you’re interested in other tech deals, check out PCWorld’s complete Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals coverage.
There’s nothing more annoying than playing a competitive game on a monitor that lags. When every second matters, you need something that can keep up with the flow. That’s where gaming monitors come in. Their high refresh rates are designed to make your game look as smooth as possible. Check out the options below.
Are you a content creator? If so, you should consider picking up a 4K monitor. These monitors are perfect for video editing thanks to their high resolution displays. They’re also a good pick for movie buffs. There’s nothing quite like watching your favorite flick on a 4K display, where the details are ultra-sharp.
Yes, absolutely, you can find some great deals on monitors during the week of Black Friday/Cyber Monday—as evidenced by the great deals in the article above. Mind you, in some tech categories—like say, wireless earbuds or phone chargers—you’ll see discounts on off-brand gear we’d never recommend. But when it comes to monitors, highly reputable brands like HP, Dell, Samsung and Lenovo will drop prices on great models. PCWorld strives to only recommend deals on solid monitors that are experiencing legitimate pricing drops. To this end, we look for models that have reached or fallen below their all-time-low prices.
No, there’s no reason why the monitor deals you find during Cyber Monday should be lower quality—at least if you focus on the big-name manufacturers like Samsung, Philips, LG, Dell, HP, Lenovo and so on. It’s true that some of the discounted monitors may be 2021 models, but there’s nothing wrong with that. Monitor tech moves rather slowly and there won’t be major quality differences between 2021 and 2022 models. The important thing is to get a monitor at a legitimately lower price—and we have done the heavy lifting to curate those legit deals.
Resolution is another important feature to consider. Much like the refresh rate, the higher the number, the better. We’re talking about the quality of images and video here. 1080p is the bare minimum for most monitors. However, if you’re a video editor, bumping the resolution up to 4K makes a massive difference, as it allows you to see more detail.
The final thing is the screen size. 27 inches is the most common and a good size for a home office. For gaming monitors, 24 or 27 inches is best. Sometimes a larger screen causes eye strain and if you’re going to be staring at one for hours, it’s better to go a bit smaller. For 4K monitors, 32-inches is a good option, as it gives you quite a bit of screen to work with.
PCWorld reviews new monitors every month. So, if you want to see the models we’ve rated the highest, check out our rankings for the best monitors of 2022. We also have more granular picks on the best gaming monitors, as well as the best 4K monitors for desktop workstations. Come Black Friday, a lot of our top picks may be on sale, so don’t limit your shopping only to the deals we’ve called out above.
Amazon’s going to have a slew of awesome deals. That’s a given. However, for monitors, you should definitely peruse the main pages of HP, Dell and Lenovo. Personally, I find myself going directly to the manufacturers more often than not. You can also widen your net and scope out other online retailers like Best Buy and Newegg.
If you"ve been thinking about it and pondering all sales season thus far about a curved panel, then take it from us: curved monitors are great, regardless of whether you"re looking to enhance your productivity or leverage a little more immersion out of your favorite games.

We check over 250 million products every day for the best pricesWhen do the Cyber Monday curved monitor deals begin?Cyber Monday is coming on November 28 this year. However, as is tradition now, the boundary between Cyber Monday and Black Friday will be buried - we can expect the Cyber Monday curved monitor deals to start pretty much as soon as the Black Friday deals finish. This is usually because, while it isn"t even theMonday, retailers often switch to Cyber Monday deals and promotions as soon as the clock ticks midnight on the Friday night.
We"ll likely see a whole host of new deals and a great continuation of previous low prices on curved screens throughout the weekend and Monday itself.Where will the best Cyber Monday curved monitor deals be?

There"s always a chance we"ll keep seeing deals land that will possibly help you get some of the best gaming monitors with significant discounts. Save £200 - This is a great monitor and a great price for said monitor. We"re big fans of ASUS" monitors and their 4K ones in particular are terrific screens. The TUF ones are no exception and are already designed to keep the price down - getting this one for a record low is an absolutely excellent deal.
Cyber Monday gaming monitor deals: FAQsWhen will the Cyber Monday gaming monitor deals start? As is now our tradition in this capitalist bonanza, Cyber Monday always follows Black Friday - itself always a date we can tell you about as it"s the Friday after Thanksgiving, annually. That means that this year"s Cyber Monday will be Monday November 28. However, deals marked as Cyber Monday Deals will likely start appearing as soon as Black Friday ends, and that middle weekend is always home to a large amount of early Cyber Monday monitor deals that will be ripe for the picking.Where will the best Cyber Monday gaming monitor deals be?
Looking back at last year"s deals always gives us a bit of an insight into what we can expect in this year"s round of Cyber Monday gaming monitor deals. Though we"ll see new models and new discounts this year, looking at last year"s sales can show us the level of cuts and discounts we"re likely to get. You can see a few of our highlights and how we described them at the time below.
Gtek F2740C |$350$299.87 at AmazonSave $50 - Considering that we barely ever see 240Hz refresh rate gaming monitors under $300, this is an excellent deal on this Gtek 1080p display.
With two HDMI 2.1 ports (supporting VRR) and DisplayPort 1.4 with Display Stream Compression support, this monitor is ready for modern consoles and PCs. There"s even built-in a built-in KVM so you can share your peripherals between devices that are plugged into the screen. In case you are wondering whether your existing desk can handle this huge screen, the monitor measures 42 inches wide and 9.9 inches deep with its support feet. As someone who has used huge screens as monitors for years (I"m writing this on a 55-inch LG OLED) though, I"d strongly suggest wall mounting if at all possible. This both gets the monitor off your desk and (with the right mount) lets you move the screen a few important inches back from where you"ll be sitting. Unless you like neck and back pain, you"ll want your eyes to be at least 30 inches from a screen this big.
The good news is that there are plenty of great monitor deals to be had. Amazon and other retailers such as Newegg, Dell, and Best Buy are offering amazing savings on screens right now and we"re tracking them to help you find the right one. Whether you"re shopping for one of the best gaming monitors, or just an inexpensive secondary or portable display, check out the highlighted monitor deals below.
Resolution - 4K is the top resolution most people can afford, but it can be expensive if you want both high resolution and high refresh rates. You can usually get a good price on 2K, high refresh monitors and even better savings on 1080p screens.

Andrew Tate, the divisive social media influencer and former professional kickboxer who is detained in Romania on suspicion of organized crime and human trafficking, arrived Monday at an appeals court in the capital Bucharest to challenge a decision last week to extend for a third time his detention by 30 days. A U.S. P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol and reconnaissance military plane has flown through the Taiwan Strait, Taiwan"s defence ministry said on Monday, the latest U.S. mission through the sensitive waterway separating Taiwan from China. Beijing has been incensed by U.S. military missions through the narrow strait, most frequently of warships but occasionally of aircraft, saying China "has sovereignty, sovereign rights and jurisdiction" over the waterway.
Euro zone short-dated bond yields began the week around their highest levels in over a decade on Monday, as markets continue to reposition for more persistent inflation and consequently more central bank rate increases. Preliminary February inflation data from France, Germany and the euro zone, among others, this week could help underscore, or challenge, such expectations. Germany"s inflation-sensitive two-year yield was at 3.003%, little changed in early trading, having crossed the 3% level on Friday for the first time since 2008.
French President Emmanuel Macron will unveil on Monday his country"s changing economic and military strategy in Africa in the coming years, as France"s influence substantially declines on the continent. Macron is expected to call for a more balanced partnership with African nations, in a speech at the Elysee presidential palace before he begins an ambitious Africa trip on Wednesday to Gabon, Angola, the Republic of Congo and Congo. Monday"s speech comes at a time when France’s influence on the continent is facing more challenges than it has in decades.
The Russian rouble strengthened on Monday, recovering from a more than 10-month low against the dollar, as traders returned to the market following nationwide holidays and upcoming tax payments offered some support. Just over one year on from Russia sending tens of thousands of troops into Ukraine, the rouble is back to levels seen before the conflict began. The rouble had ticked lower on Friday, with the market only open for limited trading as Russia marked a national holiday, and hit its weakest since April 22, 2022 at 76.4875 in early trade on Monday, before liquidity started to return.
