excellent bit of kit clips on very well sturdy very strong clips good quality display with brightness and contrast adjustment. wired mine to an ignition switched live although you could get away with a perminant live i think (although i havent tried it and dont no if would cause a drain so to be safe went for switched live) as although the screen is powered all the time the ignition is on it dosnt display anything untill it sees a signal for example from a reverse camera so no need for a power wire to be run from reverse to the screen trigger it. was sceptical at first as my car comes with an auto dimming mirror and with this i wouldnt have the option to dim at all but it has a very slight tint to the mirror that you dont notice in normal day time driving but at night it is just enough to stop you being dazzled so im pleased with that. thinking of getting one for the girlfriends car would recommend.

Yes, this is an adorable small television! The visible display measures only 2.5" (6.35cm) diagonal, the TFT comes with a NTSC/PAL driver board. The display is very easy to use - simply connect 6-12VDC to the red and black wires, then connect a composite video source to the yellow and black wire. Voila, a television display! There"s one little button to adjust the LED backlight brightness up and down.  There is no other adjustment available but we found that the color and contrast look great right out of the box.

To demonstrate it, we took some photos with the display connected to a Raspberry Pi, but it will also work connected to any analog composite-video output such as a YBox or Propeller w/Video out. It will not work with a device that only outputs VGA, HDMI or any other digital video signal.

Please note, these miniature displays are very delicate and require care to avoid ripping the delicate flex connector. These are best used by electronics geeks who have experience and are comfortable working with delicate electronic components. WE CANNOT REPLACE DAMAGED DISPLAYS if you are not careful and rip the flex connector!

If you received a display where the connector cable has red & black wires going to the composite plug then connect yellow to ground, and white wire to 6-12V, thanks!

you probably have to buy a usb hub, as you need a few more ports. google for "universal gpio keyboard daemon", with this you can easily wire up buttons to the gpio, but with a teensy you can also wire up analog sticks. i can"t really tell you what to do, the big purpose of the pi is to make you tinker with stuff, not to follow tutorials. for the rest, i suggest you to download openarena from the pi store if you like fps games, if you like gba games, this is a nice emu. /viewtopic.php?t=37433
