The color LCD screen on the DIS on my wife"s 2006 C6 A6 Avant went black suddenly, leaving her without all the valuable information that is displayed on it. Really, without it you don"t have a ton of stuff so you really miss it. I did a bit of research on the problem and found that the "easy" fix is replacing the entire gauge cluster at nearly $2000 for the part alone! You can find used ones from wreckers for around $400 to $600 but they can be of suspect condition and there is the issue of mileage and coding. I also found that this is a very typical problem with Audi DIS LCD displays whether color or monochrome red. You can even find replacement LED screens for the monochrome red on eBay.

The best part of my research was finding a guy who can repair this problem at a very, very reasonable cost. Tom from http://www.speedosolutions.com/ is simply awesome. He was extremely helpful from the get-go, helping me determine if my LCD was repairable in the first place. He kept in constant contact with me and went above and beyond. He knew that I was on a tight timeline since the car was out of commission so he went the extra mile to make sure that I had my gauge cluster back in time. I can"t say enough about that part. You rarely come across people who do that for customers and Tom did. He"s also a car enthusiast and that"s always good. I highly recommend his service. Instead of who-knows-what a dealer or independent mechanic would charge, Tom got my cluster up and running for under $250.

Here are some photos of my process. I took out and reinstalled the cluster myself which saved a bunch of money. There are some instructions online but it is pretty straight forward. There are a few tricky areas that I"ll try to explain the best I can.

Tools needed: Basic hand tools (screwdrivers, Torx bits, sockets), trim removal tools can help, and several small jeweler"s screwdrivers. Audi"s instructions call for a special hooked tool. I did not have access to that so I got creative and bought these from Harbor Freight. The black "spring removal tool" looked closest to the illustration of the Audi tool and actually worked very well.

In order to get the gauge cluster out, you have to remove the entire trim surrounding it and the MMI screen. To get that trim out, you have to remove the vents. You can see in the photos what had to be removed. The instructions advise to get the center stack vents out, use the four jeweler"s screwdrivers inserted into four clips to disengage them. You go through the vents and can sort of even see the clips. Once the clips are disengaged, locate holes where the hook tool is used to pull out. The clips are shown below after I removed the vent.

I managed to break one through brute force. I admit I did not use the proper number of jeweler"s screwdrivers. I JB Welded the clip back on and it has held pretty well.

Once all the bolts have been removed and the trim can be removed, this is what it looks like. (The cluster was taken out already.) The cluster is screwed on to the trim as is the MMI screen. Removing the cluster just requires it to be unscrewed and disconnecting one wiring harness.

My partner"s MINI had the usual FRM failure. Looked into the fixes available; buy a secondhand unit and whack in your VO etc. but it seemed a bit of a gamble if you consider the unit may be at that state where the thing is about to fail again. Being in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, one could be a little skeptical to get this kind of service completed and 100% working as stated and my BMW back to its original status. But that"s what happened. Have a little faith and it all worked out and Much cheaper than the BMW behemoth who only wanted to sell me a new unit and not a repair.

Rapid turn round of the repair to my "02 Volvo XC70 instument cluster. It"s so nice to have all the information displayed properly again. Don"t hesitate to take the cluster out of the car, just follow the Video. It is a really simple job. Just remember to disconnect the battery first to avoid fault codes appearing when re-installing and pack the cluster well before despatch. These guys are very competent - they should be running the country! EXCELLENT PRICE - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I contacted Revtronic and spoke to Pops. After describing the problems , Pops directed me to a control module located under the spare wheel recess in the boot area .Pops informed me that if the module gets damp, it would create the problems I was experiencing . On checking , I had a small pool of water in the said area right where the module was located . New module and connectors fitted , problem solved.

Had BMW sat nav unit updated with latest maps and soft wear. There was a few problems with my car being on a changeover year, which proved quite difficult. But these guys did a fantastic job with getting it sorted out, to which I"m highly delighted. Price was a big saving on BMW dealer prices. Pops and his team really know their stuff and are so professional, courteous,informative and really friendly. It"s a pity all businesses don"t operate like this. Very highly recommended.

Can’t recomend these guys highly enough, Took my BMW 3 series to them that had issues with a LCM unit meaning I had hardly any lights. I contacted them saturday morning and they fitted me in that same morning. Unfortunately the repair did not solve my problem but the engineers spent a further hour helping to diagnose what the problem was with the car even though they had completed there work. The idrive on my e60 BMW packed in. It was constantly rebooting with no resistance on the dial. I looked around for anyone in London to repair it but to no avail. I then found Revtronic on the internet. Job done. They rebuild the unit and sent it back free of charge very well packed via UPS (better than when I sent it to them). It arrived late Wednesday morning, I received a call from Pops, one of the engineers on Thursday morning to tell me it was ready, I paid by card and the cluster was sent back via UPS courier service arriving on Friday morning. Ten minutes later it was fitted back into the car and working ...... Brilliant service, and all at a fraction of the cost, approx 12 per cent, of a new one fitted by Renault. And remember this repair comes with a full 1 year guarantee, just the same as a Renault replacement ..... A no brainer !

5. STAR service, BMW ccc unit sent on a Monday back on Wednesday, fitted a new laser assembly clean and align mech. Certainly will recommend Revtronic to friends. Excellent value, better than paying out £500. to £600 for a new unit.

The Satelite Navigation Unit completely failed on my car, leaving me with no access to commuications, radio and information systems like flat tyre monitor and oil level. Fotunately, an internet search lead me to discover Revtronic in Braford who I contacted by email. These guys are fantastic!!!!!! I had problems with my BMW X5 e70 sat nav, I couldn"t get the thing to load or do anything for that matter. After visiting my local main BMW dealer and been quoted £990 for a software fix or over £2000 for a replacement my heart nearly stopped ! I found these guys online and they"re amazing! My bmw ccc unit decided to start acting up and eventually went completely off.As I live in france I decided to use bba reman as they have an office over here and promise to be able to fix all - how wrong I was !!!!! After having my unit for nearly 2 months and numerous unanswered calls I was eventually told after having to call the uk office " sorry we cant fix it" So next thing was to call Revtronic , I explained my problem , they said send it over we should be able to repair it, being a little sceptical as I`d already herard the talk before, off it went. 3 days later I received an email that the unit was up and running and in the test stage.They`ve rebuilt and reprogrammed my unit in only a week, it`s now back in the car and working a treat. Superb service and excellent customer care. I had the infamous pixel/fuel and temp gauge problem with my mk1 audi TT. I could have removed the dash pod myself reducing the cost but for the extra it was well worth the trip to let the experts do it. A cpl of hrs later whilst sat in the Lounge area with tea and coffee it was all repaired perfectly. They even upgraded the latest software for no extra cost. Everything now works perfectly and it feels like a different car. I was almost tempted to have it remapped but not had the car too long. I had the usual problem with my 2003 AUDI TT dash pod with dead pixels and faulty fuel/temp gauges. Audi as usual wanted ridiculous prices for a new replacement dash. I contacted REVTRONIC who couldn"t have been more helpful with advice and suggestions. I could have removed the dash pod myself to save a bit of money but there were possible issues with damaging the immobiliser and they sorted it with ease at a small extra cost and I didn"t have to re code the radio. After a cpl of hours it was completed and they upgraded the cars software free of charge.

BMW 3 Series CCC failure. I made the mistake of sending it to a company called Sinspeed, who claimed they could repair it. (WARNING - DON"T USE SINSPEED). For those of you who are researching on Google for a repair company don"t make the mistake I made and save a lot of stress by going straight to Revtronic. Since recently purchasing a BMW X5 on an 05 plate, I was frustrated by the SatNav not working properly, by not reading the map disc. I have just come back from REVTRONIC and I have to honestly say that "Pops" and his team are absolutely first class at what they do. I had a problem with the CD player in my Mercedes S Class 320L and I thought that the unit would have to be taken out and repaired by REVTRONIC, however "Pops" had a listen to the CD player and was able to tell that the audio signal was not correct, now I have a good ear for music as a musician but could not tell that the audio signal was faulty "Pops" indeed is an expert in his field. In around an hour REVTRONIC had worked their magic on my car and not only got the CD player working perfectly but also cured a fault on my idrive which I had not noticed. The team at REVTRONIC are very helpful and make a good cup of coffee! Of course I do not want my car to have any more electrical faults but if it does "Pops" and REVTRONIC will be the first company that I will call - absolutely fantastic and highly recommended!!!

Well, a little Googling and I worked out how to remove the cluster. 7 screws, that was it. Revtronic fixed the cluster perfectly for only £80 including postage.

I have a BMW 6 Series (2005) and after 11 years, the CCC gave up the ghost. Despite exhaustive attempts at my local BMW dealership, I received no explanation as to why this happened, or any offer of a "fix". They wanted almost £1,400 (YES - eye-watering isn"t it?) to replace the item and see me on my way with a 2nd degree burn on my credit card. Arrived at 09:30 for removal/repair of a Vauxhall insignia instrument cluster light fault. After 3 hours the repair was completed and the unit was fitted back in the car. The lighting on the cluster is better than new and the job was done at a fraction of what Vauxhall would have charged for a new unit. Had ongoing problems with the iDrive in my 6 series BMW. Revtronic were the only people I could find who seemed to understand and have some real knowledge of the issues involved. Right from the start they asked sensible questions about how the fault manifested itself, which is more than anyone at BMW seemed able to do! I took the car up to Bradford for an exchange unit to be fitted, which Revtronic did quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately this didn"t cure the problem so the car went back, with some more information as to what was happening with the intermittent fault. This time they got it absolutely right and solved the problem completely. More importantly they had an understanding of what they had done and why they had done it (in this case it was the bluetooth module).

I drove to revtronics this morning with my dad in tow as I had no audio and a temperamental idrive in my 6 series bmw, spend time and a lot of money trying to get it fixed elsewhere but with no luck, main dealer said they would replace my idrive at a cost of approximately 4K, an hour after dropping my car off this morning i got a call to say it was ready to collect, my idrive had been replaced and my audio fixed all for the cost of £590, these guy are amazing and I would highly recommend them.

CCC unit on my E60 BMW (Japanese spec) crashed and was draining the vehicles battery. It needed replacement. Revtronic provided me with an updated version which works much better than the original one that came with the vehicle. The sales service was excellent and shipping was on time.

So without delay booked a appointment to take car over to pop. Arrived, was met by pop who asked for a little more info on the fault , then got us two hot drinks and some where nice to sit, and under two short hours job done !!! To our amazement car even better than it was before fault occurred.

I have also had Revtronic apply various BMW coding options to my car, including changing the default on the stop/start so it remembers the last setting used even when the vehicle is switched off, plus other tweaks.

Volvo V70 2002 DIM repair. Cannot recommend highly enough. Had put up with "urgent SRS warning" and complete intermittent DIM failure for a few weeks. Was told DIM may be unrepairable but Revtronic received it at 10.30am and returned it fully repaired at 17.20 the same day. Amazing. Just to say that removing the DIM module is very easy but remember to lower and pull out the steering column for easier access.

As REVTRONIC are based in West Yorks and i live in Devon, i couldn"t take my Car to them, so i just sent the dash unit with the required docs via Royal Mail special delivery on the Monday. The following day i had an email from REVTRONIC saying that my unit had been fixed and corrected and had been dispatched back via UPS. Wednesday it had arrived and i had fitted it back into my Car back to its original working state and with the Mileage corrected. From start to finish,the process had taken 3 days.

I was having problems with the iDrive on my BMW E60. As I was passing Bradford I took the unit in personally. They quickly checked the unit and told me that it was working. They then tested the iDrive controller on the car and found that was working too. Rather than come back another day they dropped everything and hauled the car into the workshop. Within an hour I was on my way with all of the components refitted and my iDrive working. The fault was a dud bluetooth unit, something a main dealer would have taken a lot of money to find. Thanks guys, your customer service is outstanding.

Revtronic were recommended to me by another garage, so I called in to see if it was possible to have the video in motion enabled on my Audi A4 Avant 2016, and despite having the new 4g Audi MMI system in my car, which is much more difficult to encode, Banny and the lads found a suitable workout around which worked a treat. Very happy with the work done and would highly recommend them to anyone.

(Audi TT Quattro instrument cluster repair) After looking up cluster repairs online, I phoned Revtronic as they seemed to offer the repair at a good price compared to other similar companies, so I sent it by next day delivery. I was then pleasantly surprised to receive it back repaired in 24 hours. Have now fitted it back in and all is working as it should.

Volvo v70 dash /cluster repair. Sent this to Revtronic as had become intermittent and then stopped working altogether. They repaired and returned within three days, in perfect working order. Pleasantly surprised by their professionalism and technical diagnostics of the fault. The idrive unit on my 6 series BMW E63 kept restarting constantly, I could not get into it, very frustrating... I was quoted thousands by BMW for a new idrive and then extra charges for software updates. I found Revtronics through a google search and decided to give them a go, they diagnosed and understood the fault quickly and fixed the unit at a fraction of the cost and it works perfectly. I would highly recommend Revtronics. Infact as they were so reasonable and professional I decided to have a Bluetooth streaming device fitted to the idrive while the unit was with them and that works like a treat as well, no more Aux cables. Sent it to Revtronic for Ford Transit Cluster Repair in last post on Monday, got a call Tuesday afternoon to say that it was ready for dispatch, got it back before noon on Wednesday, fitted and working great after lunch. Fast professional service, so if you are organised, your van need not be out of service for long!

Arrived mid morning for a complete dash pod overhaul. LCD was literally on the blink, fuel and engine temp needles looked like VU meters on a stereo and to top it off the immobiliser which is controlled by the dash pod refused to co-operate which called for divine intervention when turning the key to start the engine. I went to s stroll down to the museum and arrived back just after lunch - all was complete and I was on my way. Excellent service, friendly and very knowledgeable. I hope I don"t see these guys again but if ever I have a dash problem these are the guys to call. Down to earth and great bunch of guys. The repair was not cheap however I did need every aspect of repair to my dash pod which Audi would have charged more than triple what I paid so am satisfied to no end.

Drove to Bradford to get my Sat Nav repaired and they could not have been more helpful. They were very efficient and when complete I could not tell that anything had been removed from the dash, all was back neatly in place no squeeks or rattles as new. Sat Nav works a treat I would give the guys 10 out of 10 and would highly recommend.

I then asked Pops whether he could also code my electric folding mirrors so that they folded in when the car was locked with the remote.  This he did and he also gave me the "V-Max" coding update which shows you a digital speed readout in the middle of the dash where the miles/range/mpg/ display is.  Now, I can use the BC button to scroll through all those features plus get a digital speed reading.

Had a really bad problem with the dash cluster on my Ford Focus, had lots of faults coming up on the screen (transmission failure, engine system fault, acceleration reduced)

First repair to my BMW 535D MULF Unit by Revtronic was in November 2017. Prompt service then and happy with everything. Unit broke down again in April 2019 - it"s on a 14 year old car. Sent back for extensive bench testing and report. The unit overheats on hot days and is a poor design (BMW take note!). The heat builds up and makes the unit malfunction intermittently due to the circuit board being enclosed in an un-ventilated metal box (!) Initially, Revtronic suggested adding a small fan (like that used in PC"s) but instead swapped my MULF unit for a tested / refurbished "new" one - with a full year"s guarantee. Reduced charge for the extra work due to previous unit costs. Picked the new unit up. They fitted it, programmed it into my car and tested it all worked. Again, very happy with the professional way Revtronic have dealt with my malfunctioning MULF unit. No hesitation in giving them HIGH RECOMMENDATION for anyone with car electronics problems - MUCH less expensive than "Main Dealer "prices.

Just want to say a big thanks to the guys at Revtronic, i was down in the slumps when my audi mmi stopped working (no sound) having been told from Audi i would need to replace the whole unit quoting me £3500 & that it could not be repaired. Having seached the net & reading reviews decided to give Revtronic a call. Within 2 days of sending my unit i recieved it back working & now a happy man again, all for the price of £325. Will definitley be using them again if needed in future.

A Quick Thank you to Pops & the Lads down at Revtronic...I had a persistent Display fault on my Mercedes W215 Instrument Display which had eluded the best efforts of other repairers north of the border.. so having located Revtronic ( on the Net with excellent reviews) & having good initial communication with pops, who Immediately ascertained what the probable fault was with my display, I arranged a visit down to Bradford..Just a quick three hour uneventful drive down from Glasgow brought me to Revtronic in Bradford..good information from Revtronic"s web site made for easy travel into Bradford to their facility which had good safe & secure parking & a very pleasant & welcoming reception area...Handed over my Defective unit & just over an hour & a half later I was presented with a repaired & fully working unit ...Pops explained that the speedometer step motor had been defective so was replaced , the back light transformers were replaced & unit its self fully reset...Head unit was refitted into the car & I had a very pleasant drive back up to Glasgow with No issues what soever from the repaired instrument head...great to have a working accurate speedometer & back light Binnacle again.....great work Pops & terrific value & superb technical information...

After a year or so of "guess the message" on my Range Rover dot matrix display I took the plunge and removed it and sent it over the hill to Pops at Revtronic after talking to him on the phone then booking in the repair. Posted it on Monday - returned to me on Wednesday, refitted that evening, works perfectly, and now I know what the car is saying to me!

I went to the Revtronic premises last week to pick up and fit the Sat Nav / iDrive Computer they had repaired for my 3 Series BMW, when re-fitted it worked like a dream.

What a fantastic company to deal with! I needed to have some conversion work done on an imported BMW 528i SE and they did wonderful work. Replacing the xenon adaptive headlights was going to be really expensive - £3000. They were able to reprogram the headlights to dip in the correct fashion. They also sorted out the navigation system, radio and CD player. All for a fraction of the cost of buying new headlights. Not only did they do great work but they are also really great and friendly people, getting the work done really fast and also offering additional advice on the remaining work that needed to be done. What a pleasure to deal with them. I would be happy to recommend them to anyone.

Spoke to Revtronic over the phone who quoted me a fraction of the cost of BMW dealers and suggested I have a re-conditioned unit fitted and that the unit could be replaced the same day. So I traveled to Bradford 09/04/2019 from Hull and arrived 09.35 hours expecting a 4 to 6 hour job to replace the unit....................by 10.00 Hrs I was leaving Revtronic with a re-conditioned CCC unit fitted and a very healthy BMW X5!

I spoke to Syd who I found very helpful, friendly & professional. I had a problem with the navigation & information/entertainment system on my BMW 6 series convertible which Syd diagnosed as a fault in the CCC unit. After discussing with Syd we decided that the best solution for me was for me was to take the car to them which I did on the 25/03/2019. When I arrived the first thing I got was a welcoming friendly smile & a cup of coffee ( BRILLIANT ) , Syd had rebuilt, fully updated & tested CCC unit for me & had it running on the bench. He removed the CCC unit from car, fitted the rebuilt unit into my car, he set it all up including radio coding, sat nav, logic 7, tv & put in a few extra features like digital speedo. He left me to try it all out & answer any questions. The system is now working perfectly, he gave me the invoice which I thought was reasonable compared to BM prices ( less than half the cost ) & a 12 month warranty, I can not fault any part of this company & would highly recommend.

Used the guys to do the ccc chip on my 2006 bmw 320d touring business professional sat nav system. sent the unit away 6 days later got it back and realised sat nav screen wasnt working the guys got it picked up diagnosed it and sent it back in 24 hrs diagnosed a 5 amp fuse had blown in the car, it was a 10 amp but a fair diagnosis from 200 miles away replaced fuse and all sweet. Your service is superb and a lot easier on the pocket than the main dealers. Thankyou very much

Instrument cluster on 2009 Mondeo died on me, after intermittent failures this past year (apparently a well-known Ford issue). I found Revtronic online and got in touch by phone and email. They were efficient and honest with me - assessing the chances of a successful repair to be 50/50 but inviting me to bring it over. I"ve just got back, and can report that they did a fantastic job: removed the cluster board, examined and diagnosed, repaired cracked/dry lines across the board, tested and re-fitted, all in about 90 mins while I mouched around the city centre: just a 10 minute walk away. Price was fair, at about £150, a lot less than Ford. Really friendly and decent set-up at Revtronic - I highly recommend them if you have similar auto electric problems.

Focus 2009 instrument cluster had no LCD display . Posted Monday - UPS delivered back Friday. Excellent repair, these reliable companies are hard to find .would recommend.

Well, What can i say! I bought a 2003 Volvo V70 D5 with the dash fault dirt cheap, The dash was pretty much dead, No gauges and the rest of it was a mess, I thought it was scrap, I emailed revtronic and spoke to "Pop"s" He said that if they cannot repair it i get it sent back with a full refund, That satisfied me to give it a go! I posted my Dash cluster Royal mail special delivery on Saturday at 09.20, I get it back on the next Monday afternoon! Yes, That"s 3 days including a Sunday! Plugged it in today and it work"s flawlessly, Based on my experience i totally recommend these guy"s!

We had an issue where our 2012 mini Countryman radio wasn"t working when we bought the car, it wouldn"t switch on and half the buttons didn"t do anything. Display was working fine. Contacted Pops at Revtronic and he helped with identifying if they can repair it and helped with the whole repair process.

Mini Cooper Boost CD repair, the power on buttons failed. Great service, posted on Monday and back Wednesday- All working again and the ribbon cable I had dislodged put back.

Had a problem with BMW idrive ccc unit. Was recommended to Revtronic by local BMW specialist. Unit sent off and next day was promtly contacted to inform unit was fixable.2 days later unit was ready for dispatch, good prompt service. Unit fitted with no problems. Software upgrade as well. Added bonus is that the dreaded SOS call malfunction that came on every start-up has gone. Would highly recommend Revtronics .

Sent my Ford Ka clocks off on Saturday,Revtronic’s received early Monday as weekend post delays,had email by lunchtime Monday saying job complete and are on way back to me, received tuesday lunchtime fitted back into car after work,all the lights that was staying dimly lit were out and also flashing ones a total of 8 faulty warning lights fixed!! It kept shutting down/going into hibernation mode. Found a "work around" and had been doing that which sorted problem for a while but recently the problem was happening on a daily basis.

What a great service! My MINI Cooper "Boost" head unit "died" suddenly. After checking-out all fuses and connections it was apparent that the head-unit itself had developed an internal fault. I was faced with a choice of sourcing a replacement unit (£1,400 plus at a MINI dealership) or sending the unit to Revtronics at a fraction of that cost. I"m so glad I did - Stripped the unit from the car and posted it on Tuesday and received it back fully functioning on Thursday. A couple of hours later it"s back in the MINI and working perfectly. I have no hesitation in recommending Revtronics to anyone experiencing problems with faulty electronic components on their vehicle. Thanks guys!

These guys are polite, friendly, trustworthy and super super efficient. Having no audio or computer, does significantly reduce the pleasure out of driving but, I patiently waited until Lockdown restrictions had eased. I booked my appointment and the guys had the radio whipped out from the dashboard in next to no time. Even offered to diagnose and repair while I waited but, due to time restraints, I left it with them. They rang me to say the unit has been repaired and ready for installation, yippee!! I cannot thank these guys enough, their courteous service and friendly charm, is worth every penny!

I recently had a mini boost CD radio player with button problems repaired by Revtronic. I have nothing but praise - the radio was received and repaired within a day, with a prompt return.

Found this company on google, contacted them by phone to ask if they could help with regards to repairing the LCD on the Climate Control Unit of my Porsche Boxster. Was advised they could and how to do this by someone who was very polite and competent. Completed the required information on the internet the same day and put my unit in the post via special delivery, I was advised the following lunch the work had been completed and the unit was being returned. Received the unit the next day via UPS, in fully working repaired order. Very impressed with the efficiency and work done, would use again and recommend to others.

We had a faulty Dacia media unit and found all the info on their page.. Booked the repair online, really easy.. Boxed it up, posted Royal Mail tracked at 11.00am Wednesday, they received it next day, problem fixed same day and posted straight back.. Great service on my Audi S3 MMI. Speakers had stopped working after crackling for a while. My Audi Specialist and Audi would have just replaced the MMI at over £1000. Fixed by Revtronic for £325 including super-fast service and delivery back to me. Now working great again so thanks a lot guys!!

I found this company after a google search as the dashboard LCD display screen on my Fiat 500 had stopped workingLCD display screen on my Fiat 500 had stopped working. I popped in to see if they had the part and luckily they did. I was told the price, which was £213 in total and I waited while they fitted the part. It only took 20 mins. I can"t thank them enough, they were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend them.

I had a dashboard Instrument Cluster issue with all lights showing on cluster and needles spinning and engine cutting out or not starting on my Ford Focus 2006 year model. I contacted Revtronic Ltd mid morning and in discussion with the adviser I took a journey to their premises at 2pm on the same day. The friendly and courteous gentleman (I didn"t get his name - sorry) advised me about the common fault with these and he would repair this. Within an hour he rang me to advise that its repaired.

I collected this and the same gentleman gave me some advise about this regarding fitting it back in the car. The price was very modest at £80 and if I had gone to a Ford Dealer or elsewhere I would be charged an extremely higher price (that is if they could do the job). A couple of hours later I fitted it in the car and it was working perfect and I went on a two hour motorway drive the day after with no problems.

Audi A3 MMI no sound. Quoted £4.5k by Audi Northampton to fix A3 MMI unit and told there was no other option. Oh and they tried to get me to trade up instead. Found Revtronic via google search. They explained how even I could easily remove the unit in the glove box.

Posted unit midday on Monday and received back Thursday afternoon via UPS. I’m not in anyway technical. Putting it back in was even easier and took less than 5 mins. Total cost £325 all in. Not sure how Audi can justify

Mini Boost CD Radio, front buttons not working. I posted the radio unit to Revtronic on Monday 17/1/22, they repaired and tested the unit and posted back on Wednesday 19/1/22, it was received the next day and back in the car that evening, working perfectly. Fantastic, professional service and extremely helpful people who were only too willing to answer questions on Saturday afternoon about how to remove the unit from the vehicle. I can"t praise these guys highly enough and have no hesitation in recommending them.

My Porsche PCM 3.1 was constantly rebooting and as my car is out of warranty, Porsche"s only suggestion was a replacement approaching £3k!! After exploring several possible fixes, I turned to Revtronics and sent off the unit for diagnosis. Within a week, the unit was returned fully repaired with updated software and maps for less than a quarter of what Porsche wanted. I can"t recommend these guys highly enough and their communication throughout was also first class. One happy customer!

Had a problem with my ccc-sat nav.[BMW 535i e61] Sent it off to revtronic on Monday and received it back by the end of the week FIXED. As well as being fixed it had been upgraded and is better to use now full marks to Revtronic A1. Thanks guys !!

Was told that the unit would need proxy alignment after fitting back in the car,and a local auto electrician could do this,we phoned several automotive diagnostics in our local area and no one was interested.

Came across Revtronic amongst google searches when Audi main dealer quoted circa £3k to repair (or rather replace MMI unit in glovebox) due to intermittent sound or no sound despite everything else working ok. Spoke to Revtronic over the phone beforehand and they quickly identified what the likely cause of the problem was. Bit twitchy about sending unit in post but having done so via tracked Royal Mail on the Thursday the unit was repaired and back in the car working on the Tuesday - 3wd"s. Superb work. All done with 12 month guarantee. Puts Audi to shame..!!

I called them on the Monday and the very helpful engineer went through all details with me. I sent the cluster to them on the Tuesday, they received it 10am on Wednesday, I got the "all done" email at midday on Wednesday and received it back by 10am Thursday, all now fitted and working and 1 very happy and appreciative customer - many thanks Revtronic!

Took my car to Revtronic who removed, repaired and refitted CD-radio in approx 2 hours. 11 months later it is all still working fine. Very good service.

I was recommended Revtronic by a family friend and the whole process was simple, quick and it fixed the issue I was having. My Ford Focus 2010 had an issue with the instrument cluster bringing up fault codes and engine management warnings. I sent my cluster off to Revtronic on Monday am, they received it Tuesday, and it was back at my house ready to be re fitted by Wednesday. I was amazed at how quickly it was done. The Becker Map Pilot in my Mercedes A Class packed up. I found Revtronic on eBay & after messaging them I sent the unit last Tuesday they received it Thursday morning I had a phone call lunchtime on Thursday to say it was repaired! I paid straight away & it arrived in the post on Friday. That’s amazing service & I think you’d be hard pushed to find anyone offering better than that. The unit is now working again for a fraction of the cost of buying a replacement. It’s just had a good test on a 300 mile drive & it worked perfectly & is fully updated.

Had an issue with my Clio instrument cluster where the LCD display stopped working. I literally could not find anyone local to me who could give me an easy fix and Renault were charging me £500+ for a brand new replacement. By some miracle I found Revtronic and even though it took two trips they worked their magic to give me a temporary fix in the first instance and then repaired my original cluster in the second instance give or take a few tweaking issues. Everything was done while I waited and even though it took a couple of hours, it was totally worth it. Friendly and incredibly skilled staff. Great customer service!

I must say what a fantastic service. I phoned up to ask regarding a footwell module repair on a BMW 1 series , 30 minutes later i was at the shop and shortly after that repair done , i took the module home fitted it and it works perfectly.

I have a 2016 Fiat Panda 4x4 Cross, Twin Air. The Blue & Me (Bluetooth) module failed. The Revtronics team gave clear advice on the removal and procedures for repair and they did a first class job in next to no time - 3 days after I sent it for repair it was back to be fitted. Local mechanic fitted it back for me and it needed a proxy alignment. Mechanic Toby ran his software (not the multiecuscan that is recommended) and the flashing mileometre stopped flashing and everything bluetooth works fine now...so including the £20 for Toby (20 minutes) and the £96 for Revtronic the cost has been £115....whereas for the Fiat dealership to do it (replace the unit then do the proxy alignment) would cost over £400 I think.

I recently used Revtronic for a MINI Radio Boost Head unit issue I had . Several of the buttons had stopped working and a replacement unit is very expensive . The process of repair is very simple , Sent off on Tuesday , I was notified it was fixed on Weds and it was back with me on Thursday . They seem very knowledgeable and offer levels of service that Main agents simply don"t offer . I wouldn"t hesitate to recommend them
