I do some sewing and have tried many irons over the years. Initially, I loved this iron-- the weight is good, steams very nicely, heats to 1800 (which helps with stubborn wrinkles). Unfortunately, my second Beautural Iron seems to have died today. It is giving me an "Err 1" code in orange. I unplugged it, plugged back in, same thing happened (Err 1 code). I then unplugged and waited over an hour before plugging in again-- same Err code. Then I tried another outlet to make sure it was not the electrical outlet. Still not working.

Like I said, this is the second (replacement) iron-- company has excellent customer service. I can"t imagine they will replace a second time though. The iron has been stored away for 4 months as we were flooded during the 9-28-22 Hurricane Ian in Florida"s west coast. So the iron was barely used--I am the only one using (we are a retired couple)--no kids to use iron:). Would like to recommend but honestly, very discouraging as now I have to find yet another iron and cannot do any sewing until one arrives:(
