Going by your description I would check the T-con board or the panel. It will depend on what your screen displays. Also check to see if the menu displays properly or if that is full of lines as well. rokkee4 thank you for the picture. It does make all the difference in the world. This is a broken LCD panel. There is not fixing this one. You will have to try and find a replacement panel which will not be an easy task.
