voilamart lcd display manual factory

When doing my research on what controller was ideal for my ebike, I thought, should I get a very simple controller or a more sophisticated but complex LCD display that can give me more riding features?
Even though you can see only six (6) main readings on the display, there is fourteen (14) usable functions you can access and adjust based on your needs.
Po2 – Km or miles per hour: depending on your location, you can select to display the speed in km (“0” ) or mph (“1”). For this to work properly, you need to set the size of your ebike wheels.
Po4 – Display sleep mode:this come from zero to 60 mins. In this case, zero means your controller will stay on all the time and if 60 mins, it will shut down after 1 hr of no operation (this will not happen if you are riding your electric bike though).
P06 – Wheel size selection: this is where you establish the size of your wheels in inchs. This is important in order to display the right speed you are traveling.
When something is not working well with your electric bike, the SW900 LCD can inform you about the issue or system errors. This is what you need to know:
I believe the SW900 LCD is one of the most functional controller for e-bikes in the market but from my perspective, if you don’t want to have to much of a headache, just stay away from it and install a most simple one, like the ones provided by Bosch.

My display light never turns green (does not take a charge) but red light stays on. I figured it"s a dead battery, but then again, why would the red light show constantly? Would this also cause the motor not to engage? I twist the throttle but noting... Why?
my egobike lightning has fully charged batteries tested with meter, working switch, working motor but on display it shows a tiny amount of battery and will allow a very small amount of usage and or cut out and say error 6. any ideas?
I recently installed new pedals and old ones were tough to get off so I really went to work on my bike but was able to complete the job. Next day went to ride and LCD won"t light up.
So I go to a total stop, and it starts giving me power. So I do this many time. Plus this is a brand new ebike with less than 150miles. I tried to fine a trouble shooting in my owners manual.
Can you help me. My Controller doesn"t change the Power output. It is always at max on eco, normal and power Mode. Do you know which Part of the Controller or Display (SW-900) could be damaged?
I have a brand new bike. It worked for about 20min. It just went dead with no power. I took the battery out and reinstalled it. Hit the power button and the display lit up for about 1 second then turned off. They sent me a new controller that I put in. I Installed the battery again and tried turning it on. Same thing happened. Display turned on for 1 second then went dead.
Usually a bad display won"t disable the bike. It sounds like the display sees power stored in the controller capacitors and uses it up. Check the battery voltage at the output or charging terminals. Look closely at all connections.
My friend has a 36v 12a 500w 20 inch EBIKE, with a 3 speed display and 36v controller. I have the same EBIKE, but with a 48v 12a 5 speed display and 48v controller. We can not ride together, as he speeds away in 1st gear, which is almost equal to my 3rd gear: way too fast from a start, while my speed is perfect. This occurs in pedal assist. Is it possible to exchange his 3 speed display and controller with a 48v 5 speed display and matching controller (same as mine)? Or will his 36v battery system not allow the exchange?
Changing the controller to a 48v won"t give you any more power or speed. You will either need a higher amperage 36v controller for more power (if your battery is capable of higher amps) or a higher voltage (48v) battery (and probably a 48v controller and display) for more speed.
Everything on the LCD display is working except for the speedometer and trip info, is this a loose connection that can be easily remedied and which wheel is the connection
I did order a couple of new actual LED lights to replace the old one, but they also show the same behavior. The issue really does appear to be in the controller box/display itself, since the voltage recorded right at the led connector wires shows a huge drop in voltage a few seconds after the led turns on. However, instead of replacing the controller ($$$), since it works fine otherwise, I"m going to put a nice $10 switch on the handlebar and route a new voltage source from the power cables (using resistors to drop it down to ~13 volts).
Hi there i have a 2018 emmo zone gts and have had the misfortune of riding it until my lead bassed batteries were drained so i charged it for full cycle and when turned on the display will turn on and shows that it is in 3 and 2 gear at the same time and stops indicating that it is in 2 gears after a few mins and wont engage at all managed somehow to get it to work but it was going in reverse after trying to inspect the resaon for this i parked it shut it off and have not been able to get it to move forward or backwards and havr no idea what to do can anyone plz help me
Im new to Ebiking and have a 48v 1000 w conversion kit and will soon have a 20 ah battery . My kit didn’t come with a peddle assist option or ring , I’m wondering if it’s possible to add that to a standard conversion kit like mine?. I understand if the wire input is on the controller , I may have a chance but it’s not specified on the instruction manual , anyone ever come across this situation and what did you do to add the peddle assist ?
It sounds like you plugged the throttle into the small hall sensor wires of the motor. This should not cause any problems because neither would be powered if they were connected together. Check battery to controller connections and controller to display. A multimeter may be useful if the connections look good.
Just received my bike today 500 watt 36 volt and chair the low and high assist pedaling works With fine but the motor will not run alone what"s wrong. All five lights light up at the bottom of the display but the motor is not running constantly it won"t run at all HELP
Upgrading from an SW900 to a KT controller and display.. but wondering: What are the chances I receive a new wheel with a hall sensor that lasts maybe.. 300 feet? 48v 1000w 30a (display was factory set at 37, I lowered it to 30) ..also, New battery fully charged shows one red light after a few hours of no use... -Bad Battery Too? Is this my initiation to building ebikes?!!
OK.. baby steps. I find that my new unit is now stuck in Walk Mode with no way to fix(?),explaining why setting changes are ineffective etc at this point (except full battery red light..).and also tells me the hall sensors are working fine (walk mode works, anything else is a rough slow no go). Test meter, KT controller and display incoming, will report findings.. could be another "feather in cap" for SW900.
A new (shipped with a broken clip) KT controller and display fixed the problem. So.. Yes, one more feather in the cap of SW900. All I gotta do now is get my new controller to mph.. instructions do not work, typical. Will get "er dun!!
By "pedal assist" I assume you do not mean pedal actuated throttle, just human power. In this case you may have a failing battery. You need to check the battery voltage with a multimeter if you don"t have a display. A bad battery will go from say 53v to 43 v in a few short miles.
