I"m mentioning this for the other unfortunate souls reading this forum: if your 8347-I display, similar to mine, stays white, no matter which library you get, try my approach (MCUFRIEND_kbv with the define and the proper Identifier, or the UTFT-8347i library). If they don"t seem to do anything, your display is a DOA, ready to be shipped back to the seller.
