2. To coat the glass substrate with a metal film, the metal material needs to be placed in a vacuum chamber, and after the special gas on the metal generates plasma, the atoms on the metal will be knocked against the glass, and then a layer of layers will be formed Metal film too.
3. After the metal film is plated, we also need to plate a non-conductive layer and a semi-conductive layer. In the vacuum chamber, the glass plate is heated first, and then a high-voltage electric sprayer sprays special gas to allow electrons to interact with each other. The gas generates plasma, and after a chemical reaction, a non-conductive layer and a semiconductor layer are formed on the glass.
4. After the film is formed, we need to make the pattern of the transistor on the glass. First, enter the yellow light room and spray a highly sensitive photoresist solution, then put on the photomask to irradiate blue-violet light for exposure, and finally send it to the developing area to spray the developer solution, which can remove the photoresist after illumination and let the light The resist layer is shaped.
5. After the photoresist is shaped, we can perform wet etching with etching to expose the useless film, or dry etching with the chemical reaction of plasma. After etching, the remaining photoresist can be removed with liquid, and finally The circuit pattern required by the transistor is generated.
6. To form usable thin film transistors, it is necessary to repeat the process of cleaning, coating, photoresist, exposure, development, etching, and photoresist removal. Generally speaking, to manufacture TFT-LCD, it is necessary to repeat 5 to 7 times.
1. After completing the thin-film transistor glass substrate, we will proceed to the combination of the liquid crystal module. The liquid crystal panel is composed of the transistor glass substrate and the color filter. First, we must clean the glass first, and then proceed The next step. The entire manufacturing process of TFT-LCD must be in a clean room, so that there will be no impurities in the display.
2. The color filter is chemically coated to form red, green, and blue colors on the glass. After neatly arranged, it is completed by covering a layer of conductive film.
3. During the entire assembly process, first we have to coat a layer of chemical film on the glass and color filter covered with transistors, and then perform the alignment action.
5. After sealing the frame, place the LCD panel in the vacuum chamber, and drain the air from the LCD panel through the gap just reserved, and then pour the liquid crystal with the help of atmospheric pressure, and then close the gap. The liquid crystal is a kind of The compound substance between solid and liquid has the characteristic of regular molecular arrangement.
3. The light of the LCD module is emitted from the backlight. Before assembling the backlight, we will first check whether the assembled LCD panel is perfect, and then assemble the backlight. The backlight is the source of light behind the LCD panel.
5. After that, we entered the final critical test process. The assembled MODULE was subjected to aging test, and products with poor quality were screened out in the state of electrification and high temperature.

Polarizer is one of the main raw materials of liquid crystal display (LCD), accounting for about 20%-30% of its manufacturing cost. However, since the manufacturing technology of polarizer has been monopolized by Japan, South Korea and other countries, there is very little information to introduce polarizer in details . Taking the polarizer for TN LCD as an example, we will explain some issues that many LCD polarizer users are very concerned about.
Polarizer is a kind of optical film with the function of generating polarized light, which is composited by multi-layer polymer materials. According to the different application in the LCD screen, it can be roughly divided into surface sheet (also called transparent sheet) and negative plate (also known as reflector plate).
It is made of PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) film after dyeing and stretching. This layer is the main part of the polarizer, also known as the original polarizing film. The polarizing layer determines the polarization performance and transmittance of the polarizer, and it is also the main part that affects the color tone and optical durability of the polarizer. The basic processing technology of the polarizing layer can be divided into two series of dye series and iodine series according to the dyeing method. According to the stretching process, it can be divided into two series of dry stretching and wet stretching. Changing its material and processing technology can change its transmittance, hue and optical durability.
The polarizing layer made of PVA film is easy to absorb water, fade and lose its polarization performance. Therefore, it is necessary to use a layer of TAC (triacetate cellulose ester) film with good optical uniformity and transparency on both sides to isolate moisture and air , protecting the polarizing layer. TAC film with UV CUT and Anti-Glare functions can be made into anti-ultraviolet polarizers and anti-glare polarizers.
It can be divided into reflective film side adhesive and seperate film side adhesive. The role of the reflective film side adhesive is to firmly bond the reflective film to the TAC film, and re-peelability is not allowed. The peeling film side adhesive is a pressure-sensitive adhesive, which determines the adhesion performance of the polarizer and the processing performance of the patch. Its performance is one of the most concerned issues for LCD polarizer users.
It is a PET (ethylene terephthalate) film coated with a silicon coating on one side. It mainly protects the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. At the same time, its peeling force is very important for the LCD patch.
It is a PE (polyethylene) film coated with an EVA layer (ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer) on one side. It has low viscosity and protects the surface of the TAC film.
It is a single-side PET film with aluminum vaporized. At present, most of the non-directional reflective vaporized aluminum film is used. If the reflective film is replaced with a transflective film, a transflective polarizer can be made. In addition, various gold-plated, silver-plated, and laser films can also be used as reflective films to obtain various background colors , mirror reflection and other effects.
Generally, the size of the polarizer for TN-type LCDs in the market is fixed, and the direction of the absorption axis is fixed. If a polarizer with a special size and shape is provided to the LCD manufacturer, the absorption axis should be marked or stated.
The transmittance index of the polarizer can be divided into three items: single, parallel , and Crossed. It is usually measured with an integrating sphere spectrophotometer . Among them, the monomer transmittance refers to the transmittance of a single polarizer. the parallel transmittance (H0 ) refers to the transmittance of two polarizers with parallel absorption axes. And the crossed transmittance (H90) refers to the transmittance of two polarizers with crossed absorption axes. Among these three indicators, H0 and H90 affect the brightness (H 0) and contrast (H 0/H 90) of the LCD screen, which is very important for LCD manufacturers. In order to obtain a good display effect with high brightness and high contrast, it is desirable that H0 could be as high as possible and H90 be as small as possible.
The peeling force of the polarizer is further divided into three items: protective film peeling force, peeling film peeling force, and peeling force against glass substrate. The three kinds of peeling force are measured with a tensile testing machine . The peeling force of the protective film and the peeling force of the peeling film are measured in the 180° direction, and the glass substrate is in the 90°direction. For LCD manufacturers, the peeling performance of the polarizer to the glass substrate is very important. If it is difficult to peel off within a short period of time (4-6 hours) after pasting, or there is residual glue on the glass plate after peeling, the polarizer will have poor reworkability, and poor placement will cause the entire LCD screen to be scrapped. However, if the peeling force is too small, it is easy to decrease the durability and moisture resistance of the pressure-sensitive adhesive after the polarizer is laminated on the glass substrate. And the surface of the peeling film is dented, which also affects the performance of the polarizer.
The durability test of the polarizer is to peel off the peeling film and the protective film of the polarizer and attach it to the glass substrate. After defoaming under pressure, it is placed in a constant temperature and humidity box to observe the changes before and after the experiment. The foaming and peeling index is mainly to assess the durability of the adhesive, and the optical change index is to assess the durability of the PVA layer. The durability requirements of the polarizer should be determined according to the design requirements (use environment) of different types of LCD products. The imaging of LCD must rely on polarized light. All liquid crystals have two front and rear polarizers attached to the liquid crystal glass to form a total 1mm thickness LCD. If any polarizer is missing, the liquid crystal film cannot display images. The reason why the polarizer need to be replaced is that the polarizer facing the eyes of the ordinary liquid crystal display is frosted. It dissipates the surface reflection and scatter the light to increase the viewing angle of the liquid crystal display. For the projector, any scattering will cause the loss of light. The ideal state of the liquid crystal film used in the projector should be a 0 degree viewing angle. That is, when viewing the liquid crystal film from the vertical direction , there will be no light. Of course, this is impossible to achieve, but the closer the viewing angle is to 0 degree, the higher the utilization rate of light. So after replacing the frosted polarizer with a flat polarizer, the brightness of a projector on the wall will be greatly improved, probably by 50-80%, which is why the polarizer should be changed.
Glimm has its own manufactured projection film line, which is also available fully assembled on glass or between glass. There are different types of projection films that can be attached to or put in between different kinds of glass. The film has a maximum width of 2.4 meter, is available on rolls up to 50m long and can be cut to any size. Glimm Screens international is leader in the latest transparent display technology like Transparent films for holograms and other transparent displays like Transparent LED display, transparent OLED display, Transparent 3D LCD display, Transparent Glass screens.

Brightness Enhancing Films (BEF) are available in Prismatic, Microlens, and Lenticular versions. Each can be used to increase display brightness and help save on energy usage, resulting in lower power usage and longer battery life. Diffusion films and reflective films can also be used to increase uniformity, control viewing angles and increase brightness.
