Your country or region offers AppleCare+ for this product. Screen repair (front) is eligible for coverage with a fee by using an incident of accidental damage from handling that comes with your AppleCare+ plan.
The Apple Limited Warranty covers your iPhone and the Apple-branded accessories that come in the box with your product against manufacturing issues for one year from the date you bought them. Apple-branded accessories purchased separately are covered by the Apple Limited Warranty for Accessories. This includes adapters, spare cables, wireless chargers, or cases.
Replacement equipment that Apple provides as part of the repair or replacement service may contain new or previously used genuine Apple parts that have been tested and pass Apple functional requirements.

If your iPhone X is not responding to your touch, has shattered front glass, or has abnormal black or white spotting, the screen is most likely broken. Don’t worry though, an iPhone X screen replacement is a quick and easy repair if done by a professional.
An iPhone X not responding to your touch is a sign of a broken LCD screen. The LCD is in charge of your display and touch capability. This part can be repaired with a quick and easy screen replacement.

Apple Care has tiers of service, and the tier you pay for determines how much coverage you receive. Some tiers do not cover accidental damage. Call Apple Care or visit your local repair professional to get an accurate price quote.

You’ve dropped your iPhone and the screen is cracked. Or it’s smashed into a spider’s web of sadness. Once you’ve stopped berating yourself for dropping it, because shame isn’t going to fix the screen, you’ll need to hand it over to someone who can replace it for you. It’s okay, you think, the warranty will cover it. Think again.
The screen and LCD display are fused together, so it’s highly unlikely you can have the glass replaced without also replacing the LCD display as well. Below are costs from around the country for screen glass repairs and LCD replacement.
Apple’s service is wonderful if you have a store near you and can book your appointment ahead of time, but it won’t cover dropping your phone. According to Apple, their “Limited Warranty for iPhone covers your iPhone for one year. Warranty service for eligible repairs is available at no charge for twelve months from the date of original retail purchase ("date of purchase").
However, if your phone isn’t working because of an accident (you dropped it/your girlfriend threw it at you/your puppy thought it looked tasty), the warranty won’t cover the cost to repair it.
“To determine your warranty coverage, enter the serial number of your iPhone in the Online Service Assistant section on the Apple Support site. Apple may need to examine your proof of purchase document to verify your iPhone"s warranty status.” — Apple Support
Even if you believe your circumstances qualify you to use the warranty, if you bought your iPhone from anyone other than an authorized iPhone reseller or didn’t register your phone when you bought it, you may not be able to use the warranty on it, because Apple has no official record of the purchase date with your name in it.
The Apple support page says you might still be able to have Apple fix it through their Out-Of-Warranty (OOW) service—for things like screen burn or “an iPhone that has failed due to damage or liquid damage. ... See Apple"s Repair Terms and Conditions for further details. Refer to this article to check if the Liquid Contact indicator on your product has been triggered.” To find where to bring your phone for OOW service options, call your local carrier and they can direct you to iPhone repair shops near you.
If you’ve only just bought your phone, or are about to buy one, and you are historically talented at dropping your phone, your best option is to sign up for the AppleCare+ plan. “Both AppleCare+ and AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss extend that coverage1 up to two years and give you additional features such as 24/7 tech support and accidental damage coverage.” — Apple.com
For Apple to repair your iPhone thats out of warranty, prices start at $129 for older phones, and go up to $329 for the brand new models. Before Apple repairs your screen, you’ll need to carry out their pre-service instructions so you can protect your information. It involves things like having your ID and proof of purchase ready and, if you’re mailing it in, erasing your device. Read more about that here.
In store - The best part of having Apple repair your screen is that they have genuine Apple parts and all repairs are backed by Apple. It will probably be a same-day repair.
Mail it - If it’s too much of an inconvenience to get to the store, mail it instead. Apple will send you a box to send it in. It will take 7–9 days before you get your fixed phone back.
Be aware that if anyone other than Apple or an Apple service provider opens up your phone, any warranty or partial warranty you have will no longer apply. But if all your warranties have run out, a third-party service can be extremely helpful with prices that average $80 to $140 for screen repair. Don’t just bring it to any store though. Check out places first on sites like HomeGuide and Yelp to make sure customers have been pleased with their repair work.
Some will examine your phone for free to let you know exactly what’s broken and how much it will cost to repair. When you drop your phone, even though it might look like only the screen has cracked, there could be a lot more that’s damaged inside the phone—speakers, dock, batteries, screen, cameras, etc. Getting a thorough examination done before you fix the screen could save you the frustration of a second and third visit later at an additional cost.
Some shops will give you a same-day repair service while others will take a day or two. Obviously, it depends on how much work your iPhone needs to be fully functional again.
This can be one of the easiest ways of repairing your screen, and you don’t even have to leave your house or work to do it. Custom Computer Experts in Sheffield Lake, OH, say, “If you can"t come to us, we can come to you for $99.99 plus parts or software. $25 travel fee will be included in the final invoice for travel of 25 miles or more.”
Some repair shops are better than others because they focus exclusively on Apple products and are able to buy repair parts in bulk. iHospital Fowler say they don’t “only repair devices but also upgrade these devices and offers a full range of accessories for them. ... It has trained all of its iHospital Doctors to focus on one family of products, Apple.”
There is also the option of repairing your screen yourself with kit repair prices ranging from $40 to $80. Considering the high price of an iPhone, we don’t recommend this if you have little experience installing phone screens. We’re not mentioning names, but one of our own at HomeGuide tried this and the phone exploded in his hands. He ran, kicking the flaming phone across the carpet and out the front door in time to prevent the whole place going up in smoke. Lithium batteries are not to be trifled with. The memory will remain with us until the carpet is replaced....
Order the DIY kit—a combo of the replacement screen, tiny tools, cables, and an instructional booklet. Here’s an article on how that turned out for oneConsumer Reports reporter.
In summary, if your iPhone is in warranty and the screen needs to be repaired because of an internal problem, have Apple fix it. If it’s not in warranty, we recommend having a mobile iPhone repair technician meet you to do the work, as most of the repair options seem to cost about the same regardless of where you bring it, and the convenience of having them come to you is amazing.

Another repair option is having a third-party service provide fix your cracked iPhone. Third-party vendors, such as Staymobile in Columbia, South Carolina, may charge less and usually have a faster turnaround time. iPhixShop LLC iPhone & iPad Repair, Accessories says most repairs take less than 30 minutes. Mobile iPhone repair services will also travel to you for the repair, which can save you time.
The cost of screen repair or replacement depends on the model. Next Tech Solutions LLC in Stonington, Connecticut, can provide screen replacements and repairs service. They service iPhone models 5 through models X, iPad and other Android phones including Samsung and LG. You can check their fees below:

There’s no debating the fact that virtually everyone loves the iPhone X – and there’s plenty to love, with its edge-to-edge no-bezel OLED screen, razor-fast processor, and dual wide-angle cameras.
It’s a premium device, with a premium price tag – Apple was the first in a recent torrent of mobile phone producers to have the moxie to push the sticker price into four-figure territory. And the cost of iPhone X screen repair is pretty much commensurate, as well.
While a year after the flagship’s initial release, the shock of the $999 starting price might be wearing off, owners in need of an iPhone X screen replacement are getting an altogether new surprise in the form of the $279 they need to shell out at Apple for that new OLED screen.
Customers who subscribe to AppleCare don’t pay quite as much. In fact, the $29 cost of iPhone X screen repair for AppleCare subscribers can sound like a downright bargain – until you remember the initial $199 paid upfront for AppleCare in the first place. This brings a one-time fix up to $228 (though if you break your screen a second time, the average cost drops significantly to around $130 for each repair).
So customers are left with two less than ideal options – fork over the $200 up front, essentially betting that you’ll wind up with a cracked iPhone X screen at least once (twice, if you really want to get the biggest bang for your buck), or hold out in the hopes that you’ll never break your screen and pay $279.
Understandably, owners who are looking for iPhone X screen replacement are now looking to a third option – a variety of aftermarket iPhone X screens that have recently become available.
But whether iPhone X owners are buying the budget replacement screens themselves or turning to cut-rate repair stores for a cheap fix, there is one thing that they need to remember: you get what you pay for.
As per a recent MobileDefenders report, the aftermarket screens came with a whole slew of problems. Owners going the aftermarket route simply sacrifice a bit of picture quality.
When MobileDefenders tested them, the aftermarket screens ran hot, didn’t fit right, had a reddish hue when looked at from the side, and blew through battery life way more quickly than the higher quality screens. Worst of all, the touchscreen functionality was severely compromised.
Many times, the aftermarket screens, available on Ebay, were priced even higher than Apple’s replacement screens – meaning that the sellers were preying on customers who may not have done all their homework.
If you’re not ready to stick an unreliable screen onto the iPhone you love so much, but still don’t want to break the bank on an expensive Apple replacement, you can look to Puls for all your iPhone X screen repair needs. All our parts and services are backed by our lifetime quality guarantee, and our certified technicians come highly-vetted.

The latest iPhone, the iPhone X, opened for preorder on Oct. 27 and hits stores Nov. 3. The pricey phone starts at $999, and every iPhone comes with a standard 90 days of support and one year of repairs. But to get AppleCare+, it will cost you an additional $199.
An Apple Care+ plan extends coverage to 2 years of support and repairs, with a $29 fee for screen damage and a $99 fee for other damage, including accidents. And if you decide to opt out of purchasing that plan, it"s going to cost you more than ever before to repair your iPhone X.
Those repair costs are a big leap from previous models — which makes sense, given that the iPhone X is made with more cutting-edge materials, such as a glass-covered chassis and OLED display. On the plus side, Apple told Reuters it expects to expand screen repair capabilities by the end of this year to about 400 authorized third parties in 25 countries. Apple also covers shipping if you send your phone in for repairs and gives you a loaner, and can do a lot of services through the Apple Support app.

The iPhone X (Roman numeral "X" pronounced "ten", also known as iPhone 10) is a smartphone designed, developed and marketed by Apple Inc. It, alongside the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, make up the 11th generation of the iPhone, it was available to pre-order on October 27, 2017, and was released on November 3, 2017. The naming of the iPhone X (skipping the iPhone 9) is to mark the 10th anniversary of the iPhone.
The iPhone X used a glass and stainless-steel form factor and "bezel-less" design, shrinking the bezels while not having a "chin", unlike many Android phones. It was the first iPhone to use an OLED screen. The home button"s fingerprint sensor was replaced with a new type of authentication called Face ID, which used sensors to scan the user"s face to unlock the device. This face-recognition capability also enabled emojis to be animated following the user"s expression (Animoji). With a bezel-less design, iPhone user interaction changed significantly, using gestures to navigate the operating system rather than the home button used in all previous iPhones. At the time of its November 2017 launch, its price tag of US$999 also made it the most expensive iPhone ever, with even higher prices internationally due to additional local sales and import taxes.
Along with the iPhone 6S, its Plus variant, and the first-generation iPhone SE, the iPhone X was discontinued on September 12, 2018, following the announcement of the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR devices.
Not all iPhone components are created equally. When we first started iPhone repairs, Apple would make genuine parts available for companies like ours to carry out repairs. But as they have moved more towards pushing people towards replacing damaged devices, rather than repairing them, they have restricted the availability of some genuine Apple parts. Due to our history of our iPhone repair service we have been able to build relationships with the people who make the screens and we are able to fit high quality components in all of our repairs. Put simply, we don"t use cheap screens that we"ve bought from eBay and we didn"t learn our craft from watching YouTube videos.
SimplyFixIt uses Apple Certified Technicians to carry out repairs on Apple devices, including the iPhone X. There isn"t anyone else in Edinburgh or Glasgow who uses technicians who have been certified by Apple. We back that up with a 12-month warranty on all iPhone X repairs.

iPhone X is a major upgrade, featuring edge-to-edge OLED display, doing away with the Touch ID home button and adding face recognition for login. In addition to face recognition, the TrueDepth front camera captures crisper selfies and makes Animojis – animated emoji – possible. Touted as the strongest glass used in an iPhone design, the iPhone X also adds a wireless charging option and updates to the new A11 processor.

Your data will remain completely safe and secure. Our trained technicians maintain data privacy and do not check the contents of the phone and only access data to the extent that’s necessary under relevant conditions likedata recoveryand backup.
Note: Apple does not directly supply parts and we are not affiliated with Apple. We use high-quality non-Apple parts for all iPhone screen replacement, iPhone repairs and other iPhone services.

It"ll cost you $280 to repair a cracked iPhone X screen if you don"t have AppleCare+. That"s $110 more than the cost of repairing an iPhone 8 Plus screen, which costs $170. It"s also $130 more than repairing a regular iPhone 8"s screen.
Even AppleCare+ doesn"t soften the blow and cost of a cracked iPhone X screen repair. It"ll cost you $200 to get AppleCare+ itself, then an additional $30 for the screen repair, making for a total of $230. That"s still just above a quarter of the iPhone X"s price tag before taxes.
I can understand why an iPhone X owner wouldn"t want a case on their new iPhone. The iPhone X has a gorgeous 5.8-inch edge-to-edge OLED display, and a case would remove some of the edge-to-edge display"s effect. And cases with the highest protection against screen cracks tend to be pretty bulky. But if you don"t have AppleCare+, you"re much better off getting some sort of protection against accidental drops.
Those who do buy AppleCare+ have less to worry about, as they"ve already put $200 down towards a screen repair as insurance. Still, a case would protect the iPhone X"s shiny metal edges and glass back from scratches, cracks, dings, dents, and scuffs, which are a lot harder to repair than a cracked screen. For a damaged body, you"d have to buy a whole new iPhone X, or live with the fact that your $1,000 phone"s body is damaged until you upgrade to a new phone.

"Steve you are the most efficient iPhone screen repair guy. I gave Steve a call before I came in, so when I arrived he already knew the problem and started working right away. I wasn"t sure how long the repair would take, so I went downstairs to grab a coffee and by the time I came back (about 15mins) he was already finished with the repair.
