Dieses Display funktioniert weder an meinem Raspberry Pi 3B+ unter LibreELEC noch an einem normalen Windows 10 PC. Es lag leider auch keine Treiber CD dabei, und der Informationsgehalt der Homepage unter dem angegebenen Link geht ebenfalls gegen Null. Ist offensichtlich nur was für durchgeknallte Linux Nerds, die Zeit und Lust haben dafür eigene Treiber zu entwickeln. Dann eben nicht...
Was mich am meisten ärgert ist die Produktabbildung, auf der das Display einen Windows 10 Desktop darstellt. Das suggeriert irgendwie, dass das Display irgendwas anzeigt sobald man es über HDMI mit einem PC verbindet. Dem ist leider nicht so, es wird nicht einmal als Anzeige erkannt. Da bin ich Depp natürlich prompt drauf reingefallen.
Nachdem ich meinen Raspberry Pi umgetauscht habe funktioniert das Display zumindest unter Rasbian einwandfrei. Technisch also wohl in Ordnung. Aber auch hier kann man es nicht in Verbindung mit Kodi betreiben. Sobald man das Programm startet wechselt die Anzeige in den Portrait Modus und oben und unten wird das Bild abgeschnitten. Liegt also wohl am Kodi selbst. Aus mir nicht bekannten Gründen interpretiert Kodi den Rotate Befehl in der config.txt falsch. Sehr schade, denn dafür hatte ich das Display eigentlich gekauft.
Windows 10 IoT läuft jetzt auch mit dem Display einwandfrei. Der Fehler lag bei Microsoft : Die über das Dashboard angebotene Windows Version ist nicht mit dem „+“ Pi kompatibel. Dafür muss man erst umständlich an einem Insider Programm teilnehmen und bekommt dann über Umwege die passende Version, die dann auch noch mit Raspberry Pi 2 bezeichnet ist, obwohl 3B+ drin ist. Was soll man dazu sagen ? Das Display kann da natürlich nichts dafür, ich erhöhe also mal die Zahl der Sterne auf 4.
