kuman 7 lcd display made in china
Was so excited to get this. The small size and mount made it perfect for my on site monitor for my security system. When I first opened the box, I thought the screen was cracked. Upon closer inspection, what I’d thought was a crack was actually a sharpie mark all the way across the screen. I noticed a green tab, like the kind that attach to the temporary screen protectors that come on almost everything these days. I noticed that it was under the edge of the bezel, but I thought it would either come from underneath or, would tear away. Big mistake! The green tab is not on a static screen protector. It is attached to the outer layer of the liquid crystal. Pulling it off destroys the screen. I’m at a loss as to why they would ship it that way. Amazon customer service was great, and they got me a replacement right away. After receiving my replacement unit, with the exact same issue (except I didn’t pull the tab this time) I can tell you that this would be an awesome little screen, except for the fact that the manufacturer ships them with black marker lines across the face, and a green pull tab in the corner. If you pull it, the outer layer of the LCD comes off. Colors are dim, but resolution is ok. There is a section of the screen where you can see a faint herringbone pattern. Will keep it to monitor security cameras, which can also be accessed via cell phone, but very disappointed.

8) Connect the HDMI interface of the LCD to the HDMI interface of the Raspberry Pi, power on the Raspberry Pi, and wait for a few seconds until the LCD displays normally.
If you use the Buster branch system, you can use it according to the above configuration. But if you are using the Bullseye branch system, you need to modify the default KMS driver to FKMS driver for displaying the system desktop normally.

Insert the TF Card to Raspberry Pi, connect the Raspberry Pi and LCD by HDMI cable; connect USB cable to one of the four USB ports of Raspberry Pi, and connect the other end of the USB cable to the USB port of the LCD; then supply power to Raspberry Pi; after that if the display and touch both are OK, it means drive successfully (please use the full 2A for power supply).
After execution, the driver will be installed. The system will automatically restart, and the display screen will rotate 90 degrees to display and touch normally.
(" XXX-show " can be changed to the corresponding driver, and " 90 " can be changed to 0, 90, 180 and 270, respectively representing rotation angles of 0 degrees, 90 degrees, 180 degrees, 270 degrees)
In this Arduino touch screen tutorial we will learn how to use TFT LCD Touch Screen with Arduino. You can watch the following video or read the written tutorial below.
As an example I am using a 3.2” TFT Touch Screen in a combination with a TFT LCD Arduino Mega Shield. We need a shield because the TFT Touch screen works at 3.3V and the Arduino Mega outputs are 5 V. For the first example I have the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor, then for the second example an RGB LED with three resistors and a push button for the game example. Also I had to make a custom made pin header like this, by soldering pin headers and bend on of them so I could insert them in between the Arduino Board and the TFT Shield.
