For the price, this is a great little monitor to use as a sensor panel considering it"s the only one I could find that has a case included. However there are some important things to know before buying. First, the case is just acrylic and the screen itself is just sandwiched inside of it, with the acrylic pieces held together by screws. While it looks good and keeps the pcb from grounding on anything, the HDMI and micro usb port still stick out past the case so you have to make sure they don"t touch your pc case. There"s also a raspberry pi power connector that sticks perpendicular out of the back which means you can"t mount it flat against something. An easy solution to both of these problems is to use the foam the monitor is shipped in as it"s cutout to fit around the back, and you can use double sided tape to stick it to the back of the monitor to mount it against something without grounding the power and display ports. I wrapped the foam and the case itself in white heat-resistant electrical tape for looks too. Second, the monitor backlight will always stay on from USB power even when your PC is shut off, so you need to either have a bios setting to disable USB power after your PC is shut off, turn off your power supply every time you turn off your PC, or hit the switch on the back of the monitor to turn it off. Finally, there are no assembly instructions provided and all of the screws are unlabelled so you have to figure that out and go by the pictures on the product page. While this is really annoying, you only have to do it once atleast, and overall it"s worth it imo

Insert the TF Card to Raspberry Pi, connect the Raspberry Pi and LCD by HDMI cable; connect USB cable to one of the four USB ports of Raspberry Pi, and connect the other end of the USB cable to the USB port of the LCD; then supply power to Raspberry Pi; after that if the display and touch both are OK, it means drive successfully (please use the full 2A for power supply).
