2. Two types of Touch Screens used in this Assembly with In cell Touch and With Touch Cable. Both Types are used alternatively and work for each other.
Ghost Touch, Running Touch, No-Touch, and Inverted Touch are not screen related issues. Kindly check your digitizer board and cable since they are the most likely cause of any touch issue; please do not open a return claiming the touch did not work. If the machine has a weakened or fragile digitizer board, the replacement unit or assembly will not have proper touch or in some cases it may not have touch at all.

CAUTION The connector for the display cable features a latch that locks it in place on the system board which technicians must flip open in order to disconnect the display cable from the system board. After flipping open the latch, technicians must grasp the left and right sides of the cable"s connector head and disconnect the display cable from the system board in a direct upward motion to prevent damage to the connector"s pins.
NOTE The display assembly for the Latitude 7400 2-in-1 is a Hinge-Up Design (HUD) assembly and cannot be further disassembled once it is removed from the bottom chassis. If any components of the HUD assembly are malfunctioning and need to be replaced, replace the entire display assembly.
