I wished I had purchased an FLsun printer first...I have 2 other traditional 3d printers...I always have to tinker with them. I first got the QQ S Pro...flawless printing ( any fails were due to operator error ) Now I"ve got the Speed Racer, this unit has all of the reliability of it"s cousin but is much faster. Great Printer, worth every single penny!!! Very easy to build, instructions are clear, concise and easy to understand. There is always a language barrier or subtle nuances that come with the translation, but still very easy to understand and should not be a problem if you are technical minded. If you are not, the pictures say it all. Joseph at Flsun has been highly responsive, knowledgeable, friendly, easy to work with and above all, he understands what you are saying. You can not ask for better customer service - Top Notch and nothing less that that! I will definitely be purchasing another unit in the future when I am able. First and foremost, Joseph with Flsun has been 100% responsive and helpful in every way imaginable. As far as the printer goes, I have to say, now that I finally have it all set up, calibrated and running (with the supplied auto level sensor installed along with the correct firmware) the printer works flawlessly, absolutely flawlessly and I can not stress that enough. Although I am new to 3D Printing in almost every way, I am however very mechanically inclined. I was a Helicopter Crew Chief/Mechanic, Auto Mechanic, Mechanical Engineer and hobbyist, so building the printer was a piece of cake and I am only sharing the above so that everyone knows I truly have a mechanical background. I even made improvements/modifications along the way with the build for my own personal preferences. All in total, I probably spent about, and no more than, 4 hours building just the printer. The actual movements are smooth and precise. My heated bed heats up to 60° (with the added insulation under the bed) in less than 1 minute (I did upgrade the power supply to a 30 Amp https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06X96ZKK1/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) and the hot end heats up in under 35 seconds. Both temp heat up rates are excellent and are using the supplied hot end and heated bed. Temps were verified with a type K thermocouple on a digital multi-meter. I double checked the temperature stability and the temps hold strong and precise. Shockingly precise! The printer is also very quiet, even the supplied fans. Movements are silent as are the stepper motors.

Anyone without mechanical or electronics experience will be able to build this printer as well as operate it by following the supplied direction and instruction so have no fear. The additional support and responsiveness you get from Flsun will solve any problems for you.

Beware, there is a learning curve, so take your time, read all the supplied material, watch the supplied video"s and get involved with Thingaverse and join the group there for Flsun I3 Printers. There is a wealth of extra information out there and it"s free - consider using it and you will not have any problems.

The LCD screen is vital for operating the printer. Should you encounter any kind of trouble, such as a dead screen, corrupted text, or other issues, please refer to the guide below.

First of all, unscrew the LCD screen from the printer frame, remove both M3x10 screw holding it the LCD board in the plastic casing, and remove it from the casing. See if the problem still appears when the LCD is not pressed by the casing.

Firmware updates are necessary to keep your printer up to date. However, the installation of incorrect firmware can lead to letter corruption on the LCD screen. There"s an easy fix, though:

There is a small chance the printer"s LCD screen can glitch out by electrostatic discharge when inserting the SD card. Try to turn the printer off and on again.

This problem usually appears only on user-assembled printers. If your printer"s LCD screen remains blank or displays corrupted symbols after you turn on the printer, there is a chance it is caused by incorrect wiring. Follow these steps to fix the issue.

If you suspect that the LCD ribbon cables connectors are not firmly seated in the slots, disconnect the LCD ribbon cables and check the slots for any bent pins. If there are bent pins, you can use tweezers to fix them. However, be very careful not to break the pin(s) completely.
