Do the camera systems come with everything needed to install?Yes, all components necessary for installation are included in our camera system packages.

The Backup Camera System is intended to be installed as a supplement aid to your standard rear view mirror that already exists in your vehicle. The Backup Camera System  should not be used as a substitute for the standard rear view mirror or for any other mirror that exists in your vehicle.

Please read the entire manual and follow the instructions and warnings carefully. Failure to do so can cause serious damage and/or injury, including loss of life. Be sure to  obey all applicable local traffic and motor vehicle regulations as it pertains to  this product.

The Rear View Camera System is designed to help the driver safely detect people and/or objects helping to avoid damage or injury. However, you the driver, must use it properly. Use of this system is not a substitute for safe, proper or legal driving.

Never back up while looking at the monitor alone. You should always check behind and around the vehicle when backing up, in the same way as you would if the vehicle did not have the Rear View Camera System. If you back up while looking only at the monitor, you may cause damage or injury. Always back up slowly.

Step 2: Install all cables in vehicle, when necessary a 0.8 (20mm) hole should be drilled for passing camera cable through vehicles walls. Install split grommets where  applicable.

Camera: Drill a 20mm (0.8in) diameter hole into vehicle body near the camera and bracket. Insert camera cable into vehicle (be careful not to kink cable) and fit grommet into hole. Apply sealant around grommet to increase resistance to water penetration.

Each camera should be connected to its corresponding port. All that is needed for the system to work is to connect the POWER (red) to 12V and the GROUND  (black).

The camera and monitor can always be activated by manually pushing the power button on monitor. This is in addition to utilizing the positive triggers.

Note: If connecting power directly to battery, the camera is always ON and therefore can drain battery. Therefore it is recommended to connect power to an ignition  switched accessory power source.

Weather and Waterproof casing. Please note: The casing is weather and waterproof under normal use only and doesn"t require any further adjustment on your part. However, the cables may not be weather and waterproof. To make proofing enabled, the cable connections will require additional sealing/protection that you must provide. Remember, improper installation and using the product in opposition to the manufacturer"s instructions and the manufacturer"s defined terms and conditions of normal usage may result in damage to the weather/waterproofing properties of the camera.

User adjust left/right mirror reverse image - can set to display a reversed camera image on the monitor (for vehicle rear viewing to duplicate the normal view seen in a rear-view mirror) OR a normal view on the monitor (for vehicle front viewing)

Caution: The camera is designed to operate within a range of constantly changing voltage levels produced by a vehicle"s battery and alternator (post engine ignition) under normal use conditions. Some vehicles have a very high momentary voltage at the vehicle starting time and the excessive voltage generation at that time might cause damage to the camera. If your vehicle tends to emit high voltage levels during ignition you will need to install a fuse/voltage regulator/etc. to protect your camera. Please consult with a professional vehicle audio/video equipment installers if needed.

Water-proof without extra housing and vandal proof: for part (camera glass lens) exposed to outside ONLY and for normal usage ONLY. Camera body and cables are not designed to be exposed to outside and must be properly sealed against moisture. Incorrect installation and using the product in opposition to the manufacturer"s instructions MAY result in loosing water-proof feature. Notes: when you install the camera, make sure the weep holes at the rubber pad at the bottom of the camer facing downwards. With the weep holes facing upwards, the water running down the side of the coach would enter the camera housing and fill it up -- causing water leakage into the vehicle and or housing breakage issues if it freezes.
