I"ve had this laptop for a few weeks now. I"ve gone back and forth about this machine, but ultimately, I decided it"s good enough not to send back. The Yoga 11e doesn"t feel like a ThinkPad to me, which I used to get for work (in the days before the boom-boom), but it"s a decent enough laptop for what it is.

It"s compact, though a bit clunkier and heavier than say a Dell 31xx series. it"s construction feels sturdier than that same Dell series, though not like an old ThinkPad

From what i found of various wiki"s and forums, this is a problem specific to Yoga 11e. The distros install fine, but when starting up, the machine attempts (and fails) a restart process five or six times before it actually boots the o/s, thereby negating the speed of the SSD. I tried a number of Debian/Ubuntu based distros (I really wanted to run Pop! on it) and Fedora all with the same result. Then I went to Manjaro, which I love so I dunno why it took me so long, and it worked. The boot time is less than 30 seconds, Manjaro runs this machine beautifully, which is why I give this laptop 3 stars. It"s good for Manjaro and vice versa.
