If you do demand a perfect LCD monitor with no dead pixels, there is hope. There are certain retailers that offer liberal return policies on monitors (and other items), allowing you to exchange if pixel problems should arise. Let’s take a look at some of them below.

Dell is actually one of the best places to buy LCD monitors due to their no-hassle 14 days return policy. If for any reason you are unsatisfied, you can return or exchange your order within 14 days. Because of this, they are an excellent choice for monitor purchases. Dell also makes many great monitors and often has low prices with coupon deals. I highly recommend checking out Dell when you are looking for a new LCD monitor, especially a Dell branded one.

A Canadian outfit, NCIX also has a US branch. You may want to compare prices on both of its sites to find the best deal depending on the exchange rate. The appeal of NCIX comes from it’s offer of a 0-dead pixel replacement policy known as express coverage that you can purchase for a small fee in addition to your order. This ensures that you get a monitor with no pixel defects or up to 3 exchanges with no shipping costs. Ironically, the only LCD monitor I’ve purchased without any dead pixels was one I bought from them with the guarantee and no exchanges.

While I am generally not a fan of shopping for electronics offline or at Best Buy, you can’t argue with their return policy. You can return or exchange a monitor within 14 days. I once bought a 21.3″ LCD with several dead pixels and exchanged it at Best Buy. Your experience and degree of hassle may vary depending on the store, however.

Now, it"s finally happening. The GIGABYTE M32U is well under the $500 dollar mark and it"s an awful lot of screen. Also worth noting is that it supports HDMI 2.1 as well as DisplayPort 1.4, making it ideal for tag teaming a gaming PC with a console.

Tend to be extremely ugly. Seriously, good thing these have the extra pixels to distract you from their fuglyness. Would be a difficult transition from my extremely sexy ViewSonic VX724 (which I paid out of the ass for 4 years ago, foolish me, but still awesome. A single dead pixel, which seems to only be dead half the time, oddly enough).

Another issues is no Canadian eteller I can find sells 1152p monitors cheap. For example, Newegg.com`s cheapest 1152p is about $200, while Newegg.ca is a lil over $300 (with only one option, click here).

This is the third time now Newegg.ca has dissapointed me with products only available on the American site (Bloodrage (They only had GTI edition), some thing I forgot that, and now cheap 1152p monitors). Granted, I have had fun bitching at Newegg live customer support a lot...

As far as I can tell, the only places that actually claimed to stock a card for $329.99 were Newegg and EVGA’s own website, and neither simply put the card on sale: Newegg is only raffling off chances to buy the cards, and EVGA has a queue where you hit a “notify me” button. In both cases, you wait for the company to hopefully email you back with good news.

The raffle and queue are good things, in my opinion! It means you might maybe possibly have a chance to actually get one. You have until 12PM PT / 3PM ET today to enter the Newegg Shuffle, which features a PS5 bundle as well, and you’ll know by 2PM PT / 5PM ET if you luck out. But it also means we’ll have little evidence that $329 is the actual price of this GPU.

And while Newegg might be listing Zotac’s 3060 Twin Edge for $329.99, Zotac itself lists and briefly sold the exact same card this morning for $479.99. (I saw the add to cart button on one refresh, but Zotac’s website crapped out, and it was out of stock as soon as I returned.)

Great price and very tempting but the ASBL (auto brightness limiter) setting ruins this as a computer monitor. Just read the Newegg reviews and it"s a deal breaker for me. If you are only going to use this monitor for gaming it"s probably fine but if you want to do office work on it as well the ABSL setting is super annoying apparently and there is no way to disable it. Alot of people mention this as the big annoyance on this screen and several call it a deal breaker, anytime the screen doesn"t since major changes in the picture like if you"re reading an email or typing a document it will dim the screen.

"Auto dimming of the panel due to lack of major activity (ASBL) kicks in after 5 minutes on the Display Port and after only 90 seconds on HDMI ports. The Display Port also seems to have higher sensitivity to activity than the HDMI ports. This means that if you"re running on Display Port, you probably won"t notice it much but if you use the HDMI port, it"s UNBEARABLE! I use both ports, one for work computer, one for home computer, then use the KVM feature.
