I have used the Atlas WB11 to balance more than a dozen sets of race tires for myself and others as well as more than a dozen sets of street tires for myself and others. The best feature is the ability to set the resolution to 1/10th of an ounce and the fine button that will read down to .05 ounce. Friends have commented that they have never had a set of tires on their Porsche, BMW, and other performance cars with absolute zero vibration at speed. This machine has quickly become popular with all my friends. It takes a little extra time but perfection is achievable with this machine. Atlas wheel balancers have an encoder phase disk with 64 teeth. Most "cheaper wheel balancers" have only 36 teeth on their encoder phase disk. The more teeth on the disk increase the accuracy of the wheel balancer.

Many of the cheaper wheel balancers provide software with very loose tolerances. Their wheel balancers may display 000 across the screen, so that the operator believes that the tire is perfectly balanced. This may not be the case. If the tolerances are set too loose, a wheel balancer shaft/software assembly that has tolerances set to plus (+) or minus (-) .5 ounces may read 0000, but the wheel assembly may still be over .75 ounces out of balance.<

Atlas wheel balancers have very close tolerance settings and demand that the operator position the correct weight in the correct position. Any "cheap wheel balancer" can display 0000 across the screen if the tolerances are set too loosely. Do not assume that 0000 means that the wheel is balanced properly.

ATLAS Equipment Sales offers a one year LIMITED structural parts warranty on all Atlas wheel balancers. Atlas Equipment Sales warrants the equipment to the original purchaser against defects in material or workmanship under normal use for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This limited warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of materials or parts found defective, at the discretion of Atlas Equipment Sales. Electrical component parts carry a 90 day warranty. Motors carry a one year warranty. We stock a complete parts inventory and employ several full time technical advisors that can “walk you through” any issues that may arise with your Atlas wheel balancer.

Our LIMITED warranty policy (one year parts only) does not include a labor warranty.
