Touch screens are used on various devices, such as computer and laptop displays, smartphones, tablets, cash registers, and information kiosks. Some touch screens use a grid of infrared beams to sense the presence of a finger instead of utilizing touch-sensitive input.
The idea of a touch screen was first described and published by E.A. Johnson in 1965. In the early 1970s, CERN engineers Frank Beck and Bent Stumpe developed the first touch screen. The physical product was first created and utilized in 1973. The first resistive touch screen was developed by George Samuel Hurst in 1975 but wasn"t produced and used until 1982.

I wouldn"t expect it to be any different than having multiple mice or keyboards plugged in.not really, as with two mice or two keyboards the input is duplicated, they share the same operating space. In the case of the touch screens, you are assigning two distinct operating areas. It would depend on how the drivers work, any touch screen I"ve worked with is the whole area period. If the drivers allow screen masking so you define one to each panel it might work.
Really? That"s funny. My Surface Pro 4 with 10 has an external Acer UT220HQL and it works fine to touch either screen at any time. I"ve used the IE interface to my zmodo cameras without issue. I think that you"re overcomplicating things.
I use all kinds of touch enabled applications without issue, and a bunch that are not. The main problems that I experience are with RDP where applications on servers, like the shitty CodeTwo signature tool, can"t scale and seem to be designed for 2003. Touch is less effective there and I have to use a mouse. For a camera system, especially one that"s web enabled, I wouldn"t foresee any problems. I suggest that the OP test the touch capabilities of the camera application(s) with something that has a touch screen and then go from there. Obviously, I recommend a Surface device as it can be managed remotely through WMI and RDP, like any other PC, and the new docks are capable of driving 2 monitors.

The problem still persists. The only way I have found to combat the issue is to connect everything to the UD-3900, experience the problem, then turn off the monitors and unplug the power supply from the UD-3900. Most times, when the device comes back up, everything will be working properly - however there are occasions when I need to repeat this process more than once.
* The “Tablet Config” option worked a couple of times, but eventually I could only get the calibration set-up to display on one screen; whereas when this process worked before, the calibration set-up displayed on one screen, then moved to the 2nd, then moved to the 3rd without any intervention on my part.
