The second-largest PC player in India, Dell has introduced its new OptiPlex All-in-Ones (AIO) series -- that has completed 25 years of its existence -- to the country.

At Rs 80,000, "OptiPlex 7460 AIO" comes with a compact 23.8-inch "Infinity Edge" display, optimising screen space with edge-to-edge Full HD IPS display technology and numerous port options.

The two new AIO’s, the OptiPlex 7460 and 7760, are the larger 23.8-inch and 27-inch models in the refreshed lineup and include the option for a dedicated graphics card not found in the smaller 5000 series. These are the business-orientated equivalents of the Inspiron 27 7000 and 24 5000, and configurations options are similar. Options include Intel 8th generation i3, i5, or i7 processors, integrated graphics or an Nvidia GTX 1050, up to 32 GB of RAM, FullHD IPS ‘Glare Free’ displays with or without touch on both and 4K UHD on the larger model.

Next is the OptiPlex 5060 Micro, an ultra-small form factor model that is designed to be hidden away behind your monitor of choice or tucked into the corner of the desk. The CPU configuration options here are massive for a mass-produced pre-built system. Purchasers can choose from standard Pentium Gold, i3, i5, and i7 processors or the lower TDP T-series versions of these chips. Dell mixes the specifications of the 5060 Micro with the SFF and Mid-Tower models, so while the larger has four DIMM slots allowing up to 64 GB of memory, we suspect that the Micro maxes out at a still respectable two slots and 32 GB RAM. The OptiPlex 5060’s base price is more affordable than the AIO models above, due to the lack of integrated monitor and processor options starting with the Pentium rather than the Core i3.

The Dell OptiPlex 5060 Micro is available from 22 May and starts at US$600. The Dell OptiPlex 7460 and 7760 AIO are also available from the 22 of May, but prices begin at a higher US$1129 and US$1299 respectively.
